    It's fantastic that your town has a public climbing wall! When did it get installed? Are public climbing walls fairly common where you are? I can't say I'm aware of a single public climbing wall within 1000 miles of where I live. :(

      Yes Stephen, there are several free public climbing walls in Melbourne, and throughout Australia. The climbers look after them, keeping the area clean and helping newcomers. Visitors from overseas (we don’t have those anymore 🙁) are amazed.

    How has this held up over time? I wouldn't think an airbed would take repeated high falls without rupturing.
    Keeping it inflated at less than 80-90% might leave a little give in the system.
    First time i have heard of Free walls set up in Australia, unaware of any here in Sydney.

      Grommet kits from a hardware store come with a hole punch

    Love the idea but you really need to include a structured, rigorous, and repeatable series of fall/drop tests to see how it holds up. Maybe a sack of potatoes roughly weighing the same as you, or something
