Bless you! 🙏 I fiddled around with the remote for quite some time, then Googled how to troubleshoot the problem with my remote… it would beep when I pressed the buttons to raise or lower. I knew the battery was good/new, and the lights would glow on the remote. Blind manufacturer websites were of no help at all (didn’t even mention the battery pack). Thank goodness I found your video. I had no idea that the battery “tube” was up there! You’d think the company that installed them would clue the customer in. Replaced the batteries (8 AA), and it now works like new. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I’ve subscribed to your channel and now know where to go for help. 🏆
Question re Dooya tubular motors. I had two shades fail to stop on opening and jammed at the top. Depressing the tiny button on the motor does not do anything. Is there a motor fuse that can be reset to make them operational again?.
That sounds like the problem I'm having now . The shade would go up and the shade would stop when I told it to but it wouldn't go down so I let it go all the way to the top to see if that would reset it but now it's stuck at the top. Did you ever find a solution?
I changed the battery as you demonstrated, and it still has the beep sound, and the shade is still not moving. Can you tell me what's wrong, and how to fix it? Thx
Hi! Helpful video! I was thinking about buying the motorized version of these shades. When I found out that the batteries have to be replaced (and are therefore not rechargeable with a mini USB etcetera) , that is a bit off-putting. Using the up and down once or twice a day, how often are you changing those batteries? Wondering if I shouldn't just opt for the manual raising and lowering version?
Mike I have this same remote. Do you know or have a link as to how to reprogram the limits (how far up and down they go). One of mine got off. There is no brand etc so I cannot find any instructions. So frustrating
Cathy here is the website for my remote: www.ismartwindow.co.nz/DC1602-15CH-Remote.html There are some videos there but may only be related to sales. I did a google search and found some programming videos as well
I have a remote that looks about like yours and after I replaced the batteries in the shade it will accept the command to go up but it won't accept a command to go down. It looks like the remote is transmitting but the receiver isn't responding. Do you have any recommendations?
I just got this remote and roller shades. I'm trying to pair the remote to the hub, but I can't get the back cover off. Is there any trick? It seems like it slides off?
I appreciate your video. My only probelm is that I am 80 and live alone . I am hoping there are installers who would come and replace the batteries on my 5 small window cellular shades . Do you know if the regular installers for 3 Day Blinds would be able to do this.
What does the beeping mean when you click the buttons? I'm able to reset it and change channels - it will jog a bit when doing it but it won't move just beep - any thoughts?
Great video except for I have blinds that you do except mine don’t take batteries. It has a charge cable. And I’ve had it charging all day and it still doesn’t work. Any suggestions?
I would say either the charge cable is bad, the charging unit won't keep a charge, or maybe even the outlet supplying power is tripped off (that one is easy to test though)
Hi - my remote operated blind doesn't go alllll the way down anymore. It stops (evenly, on both sides) about 1.5 inches above the windowsill, where it used to stop for the year-plus that we've had it. I tried programming a different channel to see if I could get it to go all the way down once more, but it still stops well before the windowsill. Any tips? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
thank you Mike! Can you help me out with fixing one of those buttons that fell off my remote? I can't get it to snap back in or stick. Any help is appreciated, please & thank you!
Hi Mike My blinds have NICE electric motors connected to power. No batteries in it and hence no replacement. It is remotely operated by NICE remote which uses 2 x CR2430 batteries. Do you have a video for replacement of the batteries for this remote?
@@MikeKlimek There isn't any screw to hold 2 sides of the cover. It has two push buttons on sides near the bottom of the case. Pushing these on both sides, 2 batteries dropped out of the bottom with the battery holder which has one place to hold half of the first battery. The 2nd battery can only be inserted into the opening but there is no way to put in right place and on right side. The two sides of the cover does not open. This is why would I put my question.
Mine has a sliding door on the back of the remote on the bottom. It even has an arrow to show which direction it slides. If yours has this, just push down on the door and slide down. You may also have a small groove in the edge of the remote to stick a screwdriver or edge of a coin to twist to release the door

Thank you so much. Turns out the single window blind needed to be set on 1. Fixed. Kudos

Hi do you come to the homes to replace the batteries of a motorized blind?
Sure do, as long as I'm near you. Whereabouts are you located?

Each blind takes 8 AA batteries and I go through a lot of them. Go manual instead!

Sorry I don't. These things are awfully fickle
Hi there. do you know what motorization brand this is? Dealing with one of these at a customers house currently.
Sorry I don't
Mike, I have the same exact remote but it is broken beyond repair. Do you know where I can get a replacement new or used??
I just got this remote and roller shades. I'm trying to pair the remote to the hub, but I can't get the back cover off. Is there any trick? It seems like it slides off?
Most of them slide off, but you may have the kind that has an indention to pry off the back with a coin or something
Are these right motor or left motor? I am trying to see which side the wires come out for a right vs left motor mount
The wires on the left door are on the left side, the wires on the right door are on the right side.
I replaced the battery’s with fresh bot and shade still beeps. Any thoughts
Possible bad battery in the new package?

I'm sure if they don't that they have someone to refer you to
Hi Mike. I replaced the tube with 8 fresh batteries and it still beeps. Any thoughts. Thankyou. Len
I know it sounds next to impossible, but try 8 new batteries. As weird as it sounds, they do go bad in the package
What does the beeping mean when you click the buttons?
I'm able to reset it and change channels - it will jog a bit when doing it but it won't move just beep - any thoughts?
It usually means the batteries need to be changed. Mine takes 8 AA batteries
Do you have the link where to buy this specific window blinds? Does it have a schedule function from an app?
I bought it from a local window covering shop. It does not have compatibility with an app

I have solar panels for charging. The one that isn’t working is beeping. Suggestions?
I've not seen individual panels for the motor units. I would start off by checking the connections from the panel to the motor.
Very helpful! 🙏🏻
Glad it helped you!

It is remotely operated by NICE remote which uses 2 x CR2430 batteries.
Do you have a video for replacement of the batteries for this remote?
I don't, but there has to be a sliding cover, a screw to remove, or a cover that snaps on and off to access the batteries
@@MikeKlimek There isn't any screw to hold 2 sides of the cover.
It has two push buttons on sides near the bottom of the case. Pushing these on both sides, 2 batteries dropped out of the bottom with the battery holder which has one place to hold half of the first battery. What if the blinds aren’t going up the entire way? No obstruction in sight, and they go down completely, but only 3/4 up.
So what do you do if they’re brand new blinds with brand new batteries 🤷🏼♀️ that stopped working after one week.
That is a tough one. Try replacing the batteries(even though they are new), and then it may be a call to the retailer
How do I remove the coin battery without breaking my remote? I pressed down on one side and expected it to pop out and it didn’t. Thank you
Mine has a sliding door on the back of the remote on the bottom. It even has an arrow to show which direction it slides. If yours has this, just push down on the door and slide down. What can I do if after replacing the batteries, it still doesn't work? This has never happened before!
It can only be the blind, the remote, or the batteries. Are you sure the batteries are good?
Remote control blinds are absolute garbage. Cheap remotes that are hundreds of dollars to replace that break if you just drop it. 🗑️
Agreed! If I had it to do over again, I would just get the pull cords!
