First time needing to replace battery in remote. Remote pairing button did nothing. The blinds jog but the button on the remote doesn't make it jog to pair. Nothing happens. New battery and remote seems fine... Update: turned out to be a bad remote. Was replaced under warranty and working now
after replacing our battery and following the youtube video they suggest to watch and follow did absolutely nothing in helping us pair the remote with the blinds!! We called again and had to have a service call for additional cost. Here is what we learned, the youtube video leaves out an important part. First flip your remote over and remove the battery and place the battery back in with the plus sign on battery lining up with the little plus sign right above it, on both sides of the battery there are what looks like apostrophes (dont know what else to call them) press down on the round part of one of them we did the right one (do one side you will remember) that somehow programs the remote. place cover back on remote you should see the number 2 flash on the screen. Now follow what the youtube tutoriaI. I did mention to 3 day blinds when they called to make sure our service helped , that they need to include the very important part in their tutorial. good luck.
This is so frustrating! Same thing happened to me. Thank you for sharing the additional important step. I did try and align the plus signs and click the right apostrophe button but it did not work for me unfortunately.
This seemed simple when customer service sent the video. However I am a programmer by trade and this simple process just did not work for me. All I did was replace the battery and luckily i can use my phone to control the shades, but these roller shades a quite expensive for such simplicity to be this difficult. Maybe a propaganda to make more money is the only thing I could come up with. I have a like type A personality and after a little over an hour trying to program this remote i was totally DONE!!!! HAD TO MAKE A CALL AND THEN ANOTHER HOUR ON HOLD!! WOW! You never know the real value of a company until you need them. I checked the reviews for their customer service for this very reason. And unless they were done by the company I can't see how it could've been anything else. Great blinds however the only remedy is to spend more money. I would not recommend 3Day blinds EVER!!
@@NikNik0123 Just call 3 day blinds repair. They are great! They sent a tech out and even he had a challenge to get the thing working again but he eventually did. I am very happy with their service.
@@jamiaburchamcnhp8712 Yes, 3 Day come out and got it working. Their tech even had trouble. There's another switch inside the remote by the battery that needed to be set. Great customer service though!
Our 3Day Blinds need to be charged every 6 weeks or so now. Only 2 years old. This week, I had to reset a honeycomb shade installed in a window enclosure. It was stuck in the fully down position. Had to lift the shade and used a velcro strap to hold the bottom to the top. Then had to come to youtube to find out how to reset. This meant uninstalling the shade from the bracket, then using a small screwdriver to push a hidden button. And then, within 10 seconds, push the remote button to pair. This is a ridiculous set-up designed to force customers to call for a service call. ALL buttons should be accessible without uninstalling the unit. I will look elsewhere when it is time to replace these shades.
Next to battery it is p2 buttons Remove the battery- hold one of two p2 button - while holding install a new battery- when installed release the button . Now reprogram using video I hope i saved you 100$ for installation team to come
What a load of bollocks! I would have never, ever purchased remote/battery shades if I'd known I'd need a construction crew and a tech programmer every time that little $3 battery in the remote dies. What a pain.
The shade beeped 3 times red, did not toggle or anything? In general customer service is horrific. as we. left. numerous messages. regarding in-proper installation and NEVER received a return call. We do. NOT recommend this company to anyone.
I hate this crap, too! These shades cost us a small fortune and don’t hold a charge very long and the batteries in the remote don’t last long then when you change the battery the remote has to synced with the shades. This process is ridiculous. We were told we’d probably only have to charge the shades once or twice a year and we’re never told about the resyncing process!!
This is a bunch of crap! After talking with tech support. Sending me video and taking pointers from comments. Crap still didn't work. I changed battery and turned off before removing battery, replaced it and turned remote back on. Placed plus signs vertically and pushed the programming button on sides. Followed video to the tea. No second beeps 😡. Been doing this over and over for a week. Blinds have been out of commission. Now I gotta pay. 3 day blinds do do better ! Of course I'm outta warranty
How do you set the lower and upper limits?

@@Official3DayBlinds that wasn't the issue for my case, it was the remote not transmitting.
I’m having the same problem

How do they work when the power goes off ?
Unable to make them pair using this method What is the number to have someone to come out and fix them?
The kind of information they hide on the internet

I tried this, it pairs but doesn’t actually work to bring shades up or down. We now have to pay $139 just to have someone come out.
How do you program to alexa
I hate this crap. Do I have to take the god damn shade down to to press the button to make the remote work again?
😂

Thank you commenters.
