she recovered quite well as she competed at nationals 3 weeks later, but at the end of 1992 she discovred a terrible cancer, she was not even supposed to make any surgery or therapy, but she miracously recovered and she is fine now. she ss devoted to saint teresa, there is a video with her interview on youtube
The interview seems to be in Italian without subtitles... that's a shame. ruclips.net/video/LhVvp_zIMyg/видео.html She seems to be a very nice person though.
Was the first pass a mistake too? It must be, roll out moves were banned by 1992, right? But it has good form too so maybe it was intentional? The second pass is just scary. It's like she just frooze and didn't even try the walk out.
I think the Thomas Salto was banned in 1992, after the Olympic Games. That's about the time, when a new CoP takes place for the next 4 years. The Europeans always took place around May. So the Olympic Games happened later that year in the summer time. The Chinese He Xuemei seems to be the last female gymnast who performed this dangerous skill at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.

@@Boban1611 yes that is, she told her story how she recovered only with prayers, and doctors told her she had not long to live
@@Marketoromagnolo Thank you for the short summary. Maybe she still had something to do down here on earth....
