Lots of cardinals in my yard here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast but also quite a few hawks lately. On the day before Thanksgiving, I heard the most dreadful noise and went outside fearing for my cat Frank but what I discovered was an eagle having a disagreement with several hawks. He was just ten feet up a tree and only twenty feet away from me when he decided to take flight. Massive bird. Amazing! Instead of resolutions, I've been in the habit of choosing just one word to focus on for the year ahead. During the past few years, (while I've battled Covid three times), I've neglected to choose a word. It's time now to choose a word, and it's not easy to decide. Happy New Year!
Having an unusually warm winter here in central indiana. Walking my property yesterday there is a flock of robins still here. They are usually taken off south in the fall. I am worried for them that they are not leaving and will be losing their food source. I have never seen them stay this late before. The Sandhills cranes were migrating later than usual too. I love your camping video and could also be a food channel you make such great meals on your camping adventures. Enjoyed the year of videos. Looking forward to them in 24. Happy New Year.

I was wondering why we had such an early winter this year over here in Scandinavia. It came to stay in late October and hasnt left. Also we have record snow and i guess i know why now.. We took all yours and the US snow.. ;) Happy New Year Jen, i wish you the best for 2024! 🍾🎉❄
