Ahhhh you don't know how lucky we mid-range enthusiast people are because of you! Many big tech reviewers only make an effort when reviewing the flagships. That's why this is my go-to channel when looking up for some new tech. Appreciate you. Cheers!
120HZ amoled screen, Good enough camera with OIS, headphone jack, awesome battery backup, fast enough midrange chip. This might just well be one the best smartphone ever.
Just bought it second hand to replace my galaxy note 9 in a year or to when I'm forced to upgrade to android 11 or later by banking apps. After long consideration is the only phone that has it all.
After using a Galaxy S8 for the last number of years, I found myself in the market for an upgrade. After seeing this review, I got an A52s for less than £300 and it's been absolutely amazing! One UI is as intuitive & easy to use as ever, the battery life is phenomenal, the display is crisp even in the 60hz mode & the retention of a headphone jack and expandable storage when other companies have long jettisoned fundamental Android functions like these is a nice move by Samsung. Absolutely splendid stuff, and thanks for the recommendation, Tech!
I've always loved feature packed mid-rangers... Flagships are great but I find that the guilt of the amount you spend on one takes away from the excitement you get using the devices
They are status symbol. No sane person would carry such an expensive device that breaks when you drop it. I make my own pc and know a bit about CPUs. It is ironic that the mid range are like the top end but they deliberately turn off its performance to make the top range look good.
@@happylittlemonk Yeah often of times it's the same architecture and design but they just underclock them and disable cores and limit functional cache to make a difference compared to the top range
Same problem. Although now that Poco, Realme, OnePlus and Xaomi are all seemingly jumping into bed with each other making all of those companies "generic" and all going backwards with their OS. Poor and slow updates for Android and security plus pretty bad customer support I'm back to looking at the Pixel and Samsung phones once again.
@@Tass... Well those ale phones are so powerfull that perfomance is no issue. Screens are very good also no issue. Only like camera and charging speed is what you prefer but cameras also very good on all of those phones. That samsung is water resistant and that is pretty good.
Updates are definitely the huge selling point for the Galaxies and Pixels now - especially as they're also safe from any geopolitical risk from US-China relations (I switched to Samsung at the end of 2019 with precisely this in mind, having gone OnePlus and Honor for my previous phones). I'm almost certain I'm going Samsung for my next phone - just a case of checking if the price gap between this A52s and the S20 FE 5G is small enough to go to the latter. (The ROG Phone 3 is still tempting me a bit given that I do play mobile games and have use for the front speakers, and the Fairphone 4 is nagging at my conscience and I expect to recommend it to friends...)
I go the Samsung A52s at around 370$, happy with my decision... A few issues with the A52s camera, UW camera struggles quite a bit in low light, OIS doesn't work because the images in dark have too much NOISE with high ISO. One more tip, you have to hold your A52s extra steady while clicking in the dark using night mode. The selfie camera has some sort of beautification mode enabled by default...
Definitely a52s is the best choice. Worth mentioning that it can shoot 4k video on selfie camera which makes is amazing Device for vlogging. I'm hoping to test one soon myself
I have the Galaxy A52 5G and the main reason why I chose this over the A52 4G is the performance it can give. Then a few months later this A52s 5G went out and I love that mint color and extra performance but sadly, I already bought a phone because the one I was using at that time broke down and gave up on me, so I needed one badly. Up until now, I can easily say that my experience with the A52 5G has been GREAT! I can play games, get awesome shots of the camera and watch content on its beautiful display. I could say that my money was well invested.
I don't regret buying the Galaxy A52s 5G all thanks to this video, it's a beast of a midrange good value even though people where complaining about the pricing for me it was worth it to buy it.
Whatever country it is, A52s has a major amount of good review. Every model of smartphone can have issues sometimes but A52s is great. I don't understand why Samsung has going back with A53 and a shitty Exynos 🤔😑
In my location (Philippines) A52s 5g is widely available for $459 plus it has a local warranty, while Nord 2 is not, so its a no brainer for me, plus that 3 years Software Update and 4 years Security update is a big plus as I don't change phone very often
I moved over, or rather, back to a cheap, due to financial constraints, budget Samsung phone, last year, the A21s. A year on and I still love it. It's in a Spigen Rugged Armor case, which fits like a glove and there's not a mark on the screen. I've long since stopped worrying about paying the extortionate prices, some manufacturers are asking for, when a "budget" phone is this good!
Yes that phone was the best selling phone from Samsung that year and possibly even this year as it still flied of the shelves everyone I know seems to have one.
I got a a20 on back market for $150 now its $100 (I wouldn't reccomend it anymore because it's getting older felling and no android 10) but I already had it for a couple years and I'll probably have it for a couple more at least specially sense all I really do is music, photos, youtube
this makes great sense. you until the galaxy s9, I always went for the flagship galaxy device, however with 2 young kids who enjoy throwing it about, I didn't fancy paying almost £1000 for the later and greatest flippy flappy phone, especially when the a range phones cover all your everyday needs perfectly, I bought my wife the a50 and was amazed, she now has the a52 5g, I have the a71 and will swap to this soon
@@wizzgamer I hear you. I've recommended it to several friends and they all have one and love them. I also had a couple of spare cases which I was able to give away to them, having eventually found the perfect one!
Love this review! I got my A52s 5G (6GB) three days ago and I must say, it's a brilliant phone. The battery life is long lasting as promised, camera quality is spectacular, I've had no difficulty with the biometrics and in fact it's been a breeze, RAM is great even if you have multiple heavy apps open (tested it though I don't recommend it), the display is crisp and the display options are lovely to have but lastly, even the speaker quality on both isn't what you'd get from an S21 for example but it is good for it's range. I'm yet to test it dust and water resistance but I have no doubt it'll perform well even in that too.
@@tea5602 ayyy thanks my guy I'm actually 17 now and this phone is a beast and I have a friend who also has the same phone as me and we are matching wallpaper and everything lol and thank u again
@@deathitsuki9544 you're welcome bro! I'm actually a chick. 😂 That sounds so cool though! I'm still trying to settle on a wallpaper. I've changed it so many times though honestly, really a beast of a phone. Enjoy being 17, I'm turning 22 in Feb but somehow, I'm feeling old now. 😂
Very good review overall. It had just the right amount of detail and breakdown I wanted and the positive of you having a personality and being able to tell a story really kept me watching through the entire thing rather than just skipping to sections of the video. It didn't feel like a massive information dump and I enjoyed the light-hearted, care-free and comedic nature of your delivery. You're really doing the most and I can see why you've got a solid following. Keep up the fantastic work and I'll be back in two years when I'm looking at another phone to upgrade to hahaha.
I would just add to this by say please cut out the crude quips. They don't add anything. Personally I'm particularly uncomfortable with this language when young children are involved.
@@peterlockwood3428 have we been watching the same video? unless you mean the scrotum part - which is even the proper medical term, so far off the "crude" end.
Lordy. Get a grip. Are you making sure you're surrounded by kids for your phone reviews? Perhaps you're showing them on the big screen at a play group??? Maybe these reviews should be done 1950s BBC style? and rest 123😂😂😂
That CPU jump has firmly put the A52s in play for me - I was fairly locked on the S20 FE 5G but the 778G in this looks capable enough to be seriously tempting. All comes down to how much of a price gap I can get when I pull the trigger...
I have a choice of the A52S 5G or 4G S20 FE for my professional mobile with the company. I think even though the FE may have a better processor on paper, I think the A52S soc will have a better thermal response.
Great review as usual! I just got mine since a few days and I'm happy that I'm back to Samsung. I had the s3, s7 and then changed to Oneplus 8 because Samsung was getting way too expensive. But always missed Samsung because of the reliability and the features. Now I'm happy I have a new high-end Samsung again below €500.
Which OnePlus 8 did you have? I was thinking on getting the OnePlus 8T or OnePlus 8 Pro over this phone. I loved my Samsung S3 at first then I hated it by the 18-24 Month Mark and after like 2/3 battery replacements.
Went from an s9+ to this phone as my workphone, and wow this is a great phone for the money. It feels so much faster and smooth with the 120hz screen. And the battery life is way better. I have an s21 ultra as my personal phone, but now I just use the dual sim in this a52s. The s21 ultra is great but it's a bit to big and heavy, so I'm going to sell it. I've realized I have no need for flagship phones
Even though the A53 is newer, I just now ordered the A52s. It was a hard decision with all the Xiaomi and POCO handsets out there. I think we're all tempted by the hardware value in Chinese brand phones, but after rockin a Mi-9 for 3 years, I'm really tired of MIUI, weird bugs, and even worse bloatware. I will miss the telephoto lens, IR blaster, and especially wireless charging, but there has to be a logical reason for that awesome value in Chinese phones and it's often hard to quantify. Either the user experience/support, privacy concerns, or externalizing production costs via labor, environmental issues, or other factors might be why they're so cheap.
Just bought the A52s for 200€ (215$), and geez, I have never made a better choice in my life before. Best smartphone I've got in years. The A53 and A54 are a giant joke, their processor is literally a down grade. The real difference is battery life... and no more jack plug. For a higher price.
@@KowalDWR Depends of the phone. The 7a when the price will drop is gonna be amazing, and the 6a is amazing. Low end A-series are great too, but they're destroying their mid range for no reason.
@@charakiga not for me it isn't. No sd card slot and mini jack is a deal braker for me. Not to mention the fact that this pixel has only better specs on paper, and that's pretty much it.
Thanks for the review! Since the a53's released, this a52s' price dropped significantly. In my local shop you can get this almost brandnew for about $200. Anyway, thumbs up for the review.
Been following for a while, adding your everyday life videos and photos adds such a good touch to the videos really helps understand the quality.....well done bud! 👍🏽 this seems perfect for mum 👌🏾
Decent phone, I've owned one for 9 months before I got my s22 ultra. I came from an S20+. However, if you go expecting flagship performance, you will get it.....for the first 3 months. Maybe I bloated the device down, but I started disabling Good Lock functions because animations would lock up the phone. Multitasking is not a strong suit of the 700 series SD. Switching between apps will definitely slow down as you own the phone. I will say, the battery is killer. 4500 on a 700 series SD will end a 12 hour day on 60 percent, AND it supports 25W charging. BIGGEST GRIPE HOWEVER, is that the Bluetooth engine on this phone will inexplicably shut off. Phone call? No more BT. Music? No more BT. Need your BT for a key fob? Get screwed. It is always at an inconvenient time. It's not super common, but it's not rare. The typical fix is to wait 5 min, restart, airplane on/off (which with the SD765 it takes 60s sometimes), or Factory Reset the device as a "permanent fix"
I just bought a second hand one, basically new and used for two weeks for freaking 180 euros :D This is the last great and honest Samsung smartphone and the best purchase I've ever done.
I really would love to talk to your daughter when she grows up and ask her what she thought about the fact that you need at least 100 photos of her every other day for camera tests!
Epic review as always 😅 And yes .. yes it is. Made the switch from Apple , got tired of paying the premium price. But damn I wish I would've known sooner. The a52s is amazing 🤩
I switched from the iPhone 12 mini to this and no regrets, the bigger storage, bigger screen, memory card and headphone jack (the card and the headphone jack were a surprise) plus the finger print scanner at a cheaper price was a no brainer
@@6_sam_956, They will probs fix it soon, but as the A52 5g and A52s 5g are solid all-rounders, Samsung has had to hold off updates like this for a while so that consumers don't forget about their flagship phones. But an update should probs come with the new version of android and oneUI
Just got this phone 2 days ago. Thank you for reviewing the mid range, your video really made me decide to go for this one since I am on a bit of a niche when it comes to phones, I have zero interest on all the flashy features flagship phones have and have been using a Nokia 8 (yes, the 2017 model) until now, matter of fact that phone is still working it's just the battery that deteriorated over use and at this point I just wanted something with similar or better specs and as close to stock android as possible. While this phone is not stock android, it's only a few configurations away of doing a similar job just fine, and I can grow into the whole Samsung environment. Surprising how hard it is to get a "no bs" phone nowadays compared to 2017.
Yes.,they are producing bullshit intentionally in order to force you to buy flagship. There should be a law that only allows to produce flagship, as it can do whatever weaker phone can do, but for the price of 400$. But we make phone for everyone needs. The fact is also that flagship phone meet the requirements of everyone needs. So there should only exists flagship devices, but with reasonable price tag
i remember wanting that Nokia 8 so bad but I could not afford it back then and had to settle for Nokia 6.1 which was a good phone as well. sadly the brand has gone downhill now .
Bought this for my mum, now I'm back buying it for myself. Usually a flagship fan, but the desertion of the headphone jack has brought me back for this.
I bought it three months ago, and I M very satisfied. As a person whon change his smartphone a lot , I did not find a good reason to do so , great screen good battery and camera , nice OS Why buying a flagship who cost you an arm
I just received mine. Wow! For $520 it's brilliant. The sound coming from RUclips is knock out. The camera, if mid-range, is top notch although I find the colours are a bit overdone. I've persevered with Bixby and altered a few settings and it's quite handy. I'm keeping it. I appreciate your review because now I have a really cool phone for bugger all $£.
@Jane Doe well, A52 was an upgrade on A71 but A71 is still a damn good phone, if you're a light to moderate user then the phone will easily last you for a couple of years, not sure how long they will support the new android versions but you'll at least have android 11. That said, if you have the budget, go for A52s, it has all the new tech specs & samsung is planning to support the model long term given the success of previous A series models
Great review man. I've come up from A20 to this phone. Credit to Samsung this is a great phone for the money. The battery is incredible last 2 days!! I had to charge my old phone by midday. Camera good, quick response from apps etc. 👌
Hadn't I watched your review I wouldn't have know that the power brick that comes with the box only supports 15W since other reviewers claimed that it's 25W. Thanks!!
I've just bought this phone and I'm very very happy with it ...its fantastic and fast ...doesn't feel like a mid ranger that's for sure ..feels expensive..love it...
I know that on paper, the only difference seems to be the upgraded SoC but I’m curious about any possible difference in camera quality compared to the original a52 5g.
Probably a lot better. When they were using inferior Exynos chips vs Snapdragon for the same phone (roughly 20% performance difference), it made a noticeable difference to camera quality. A52S vs A52 is a pretty big chip upgrade so I expect the same here
Yes one would hope for better given the increased computational power but as we know, that isn’t always a given, unfortunately. A direct comparison should tell us otherwise. Hopefully we’ll be able to see one.
@@gmiblessed yes im also sad that no one has mady much of reviews on this phone? And i would too like some comparing Specially between this and s20 fe because in my country s20 fe is only about 10-20€ more sorry for my english im not native speaker Edit its snapdragon model
Thank you for the great video, I've been looking at this phone for a few days and I've decided to get it but still wanted to watch a video or two to see what it's all about! Tech videos are not usually that enjoyable but your humor definitely makes it so (as an arachnophobe, though, some spider free vids or a warning would be nice lmao)
I like using the A52S 5G so far because it's a bit flagship esque. Don't get me wrong, it's not a flagship. But with a Snapdragon 778G chipset just a bit weaker than the chipset of a Huawei P40, a 120hz AMOLED screen, IP67 protection and 256GB 8GB ram, there are definitely times when you feel like you're using a flagship. One of the best high mid range/premium phones of 2021 in my opinion.
You're made want this even more!! It was already my top pick but you've cemented that choice. Now have to convince my wife that my 3yo Samsung Galaxy S8 is passed it's prime #NoMoreSecurityUpdates

Great video thanks, I've just ordered one of these and your reviews have a real impact on the decision. I've read online that Samsung are now boxing the 25w charger with it, any thoughts?
I've been using mine for months now, it's great for its price, I wish the battery lasted longer and the video recording can be a bit funny when it comes to motion sensing. I use bixby for enabled location on certain apps
@@ivaylop.l.6541 I'm using a52 5g and no it doesn't last whole day, have you done software updates, usually that improves performance, the only phone I can think of lasting a whole day is iPhone 13 Pro max
Great video, Just bought mine new for £330! - was a tough decision over the Poco x3 Pro but I figured this would be better in the long run as it's way more secure. Great review!
Just got mine almost brand new for 255 euro. Older guy, decided it was too big for him, it's spotless and it came with a brand new case and glass protector, plus the 25W charger.
I'm currently typing this on my Galaxy A52s 256gb/8gb ram. I do absolutely love the device. Its fast, beautiful and has all the features you'll need. I used to own the Pixel 4a 5G before this phone and do have some complains about the Galaxy: -The A52s cannot shoot 4k60fps, while the pixel did that like a charm with a weaker processor. - The A52s has no optical image stabilisation at 4k30 or 1080p60fps. Only at 1080p30fps. - the fingerprint scanner on the A52s is slow and fuzzy compared to the beautifully placed fingerprint scanner of the Pixel. - bloated unremovable software on the A52s; two calenders, two photo apps, bixby, etc, really unnecessary. The Pixel 4a 5G felt more like a solid no nonsense phone. So why the switch? My hobbies require a waterproof phone and I didn't dare to take the Pixel mountainbiking into the autumn season. It's a shame the Pixel 5a is not available in Europe. As much as I love the A52s' 120hz screen, the no fuzz Pixel 5a would have been my choice given the excellent Pixel 4a 5G.
Do you have screen protector on your phone? I also have the A52s and I think fingerprint sensor is really fast and easy to use. My only complaint about tha A52s is the call quality and the speakers, which I think doesn´t sound so good. OK, the plastic back cover is rather flimsy also...
@@magnuspersson1433 I do not use a screen protector. The fingerprint scanner would be fine if I wasn't used to the instant scan of the Pixel 4a 5G or the LG V30 before that. And I agree with you on the audio front. The sound from the speakers lacks body compared to the Pixel speakers. Call quality on the Galaxy is fine for me, no complaints there.
Why didn't you upgrade to the pixel 5 in that case? It has an IP68 rating, along with a 90Hz screen, the camera you like and all the other features you mentioned
@@Paprika526 Yes I know, it all depends on what you are comparing. I thought my old mobile was fast enough, but when I compare with my new A52s it feels really slow.

This is my first smart phone ever. I bought it to replace a plain cell phone and the landline. It is very good in every way, and seems to be better than my friend's Galaxy A32 in several ways.
I own this phone 1 year 3 months , the newest update to one ui 5.1 is perfect , phone is much smoother. Only the battery life droped from 2 days to 1 day normal using . Is not worth update to 53 or 54 , a52s have still better snapdragon .
First time I've seen this guys reviews and I must say this one is much better than most I've seen. A lot of the others focus endlessly on games and watching films, not everyone bothers with those things on their phones. He is also funny, loved the funny asides, and no I've never used bixby either, but then again I don't even know what it does, it's just there.
perhaps my next phone replacement after my S10e. i can't be bothered with expensive phones. the iphone minis are nice but idk... i tried looking into xiaomis/poco but i'vve been using samsung for the longest time and can't seem to break the habit of falling back to it.
Thanks for this review - it's really helped me decide on my next phone purchase. P.s good luck to your English cricket team in the Ashes Tests here in Australia. I hope it's a good series.
Just wanted to say Thanks! for this and the unboxing review. Have/had an A70 and was tumbling with what to do next as wanted a headphone jack! Seemed this supercharged version of the A52 was best as the A53 is slower and the A73 slightly slower and possibly not being spat out in the UK. So the A52s ticked all the boxes, albeit do miss the slightly bigger screen. But what a phone! And it makes telephone calls ;)
Superb, succinct, and as always, hilarious narrative. Do you really recommend this over the S20 FE 5G, which is now available for just 30-40 pounds more (INR 3000-4000) considering battery life and software updates?
@@sebantinath I'm able to get hold of the S20 FE 5G for 41,999 as part of a special corp offer, but it is easily available for 42,000-43,000 during the sale period. My only concern if the battery is good enough to last a full day's use.
Good review, though you didn't give any information about the dual sim, fingerprint scanner location, and setting your own ringtones. I know on some phones the dual sim actually means "you CAN fit two sims in, but if you want a Micro SD card, sorry but that takes up the second sim slot". Thanks for the insight though. I'm looking for a new phone because my Huawei P Smart is now doing those things phones often do when they've updated to a certain point: apps on the blink, slowing down, and the updates taking up most of the internal storage (can't move apps to SD on it) so I end up having to delete apps - and still the battery optimiser won't leave me alone. I also heard (and read) recently that a lot of phones now aren't coming with Micro SD. Someone said it's due to "people not using them" along with "manufacturing cost". Most everyone I know uses the Micro SD on their phones for music, videos and photos. I've got nearly 3000 music tracks on my Micro SD, plus photos and videos, and I'm looking at having to get one with greater capacity, so I really don't get that.
You seem like someone who knows what they're talking about, so my question to you is: In the UK, only the 6GB RAM variant is available. Is this enough RAM for the three years of OS updates? Will the bloatware slow the device down?
@@GaaGaaGaaGaaGaaGaa2 Apologies, I don't think I can answer as well as you'd like, as while I have some very basic tech knowhow, I'm not an expert. I bought my Huawei P Smart at the end of 2018 (it was the 2019 model) and that has 3GB RAM. It's handled updates perfectly fine up until about 6 months or so ago. So I can only assume that the Samsung A52s would handle a good few years worth of updates well. It's around double the price of what I paid for the Huawei. Hopefully that helps somewhat. Sorry for the late response; I only just came back to this video to take another look as I'm still trying to decide on a new phone.
@@johncolaw9159 Yeah, and I think that's rather bad of them to not give it a dedicated slot. The A22 has a dedicated slot and that's about half the price. I don't see the logic in that.
Finally, something in the mid-range category that is faster than my 2018 Huawei Mate 20 that comes with a headphone jack. Snapdragon 778G outperforms Kirin 980 which the rest of the mid-range processors were just unable to do until now.

What I don't get is that the panel itself has an HDR10+ certification (even the 52 non-s has one) and you can actually watch HDR content like YT HDR footage. However the panel isn't recognised as HDR10 panel by Netflix or Amazon Prime Video... Is this just a licence issue? And if so, is Samsung going to licence the panel in the process or is it to costly or are they just doing it in order to provide a unique selling point for their S series? I wouldn't understand any of these arguement to be honest, because most midrange phones e.g. from Xiaomi have the exact same AMOLED panel (which are produced by Samsung only) and do have a widewine L1 + HDR10 certification for Netflix and Amazon Prime... So why do they butcher their own product especially when it comes to their very own hardware?
I returned mine after 3 weeks. Camera was unreliable. Terrible quality pics indoors. Major delay between pressing the button and it actually snapping the pic. Not sure if mine was faulty or if this is just the case with this model. I still like that it came with a screen protector preinstalled though. Wish all phones came like that. Ended up with S21 with $500 off Telstra outright promo and I LOVE it. Also with preinstalled screen protector.
@@qinsanx I 100% recommend S21. Awesome camera, snappy & fast at all processes. I love the shape of it, easy to hold for use. The lighter weight of S21 vs A52s is more noticeable that one might think. For some reason it felt like the heavier components in the A52s were placed at the top of the phone, making it feel like it laborious to hold and use. I'm coming from an S9, so although the edge design on S9 looks nice and helps it's sleekness, it was a bastard to hold in hands comfortably for extended use. I've got a nice flat edge case for S21 too, very nice to hold and use. The battery could be better on S21, but I've got it set on max performance and use it for long sessions of browsing & RUclips, so that's on me. I can always adjust it to optimise battery life. Call quality is perfection. Beautiful display.

I've always loved feature packed mid-rangers... Flagships are great but I find that the guilt of the amount you spend on one takes away from the excitement you get using the devices
mid rangers are so good these days it almost doesn't make sense to buy the higher end stuff anymore.
@@AlexiaVon that!!!!!!
You make sense.
Love that he always gives us reviews on budget and mid range phones. Saying that I still can't pick a phone.
Galaxy A52s is a treat tbh, it's very useful
A52s 5g is a no brianer
Recently, Samsung is really slapping the budget competition. This phone is no different, pretty snazzy. Thanks for the lovely review, man 😁

Dont see option for 4k on my a52s
4k on its 12 mp wide angle too.. which no-one else offers .. m52/A52s were great launch by samsung.
Well said. Finally someone with brain

This is actually a significant upgrade over the A52, the processor in this is like 60% more powerful, which is huge.
@@DAXimusTT I'd also go A52s over the 4G FE - and I'm typing this on the 5G FE I actually got 😂

I just bought a second hand one, basically new and used for two weeks for freaking 180 euros :D

I know that on paper, the only difference seems to be the upgraded SoC but I’m curious about any possible difference in camera quality compared to the original a52 5g.
I think it Should be better? Maybe because of the better chip so maybe better processing

I'm currently typing this on my Galaxy A52s 256gb/8gb ram. I do absolutely love the device. Its fast, beautiful and has all the features you'll need. I used to own the Pixel 4a 5G before this phone and do have some complains about the Galaxy:
-The A52s cannot shoot 4k60fps, while the pixel did that like a charm with a weaker processor.
Even my A52 5g is overall better than pixel 4a 5g...A52s surely far much better than pixel4A
Why didn't you upgrade to the pixel 5 in that case? It has an IP68 rating, along with a 90Hz screen, the camera you like and all the other features you mentioned

perhaps my next phone replacement after my S10e. i can't be bothered with expensive phones. the iphone minis are nice but idk... i tried looking into xiaomis/poco but i'vve been using samsung for the longest time and can't seem to break the habit of falling back to it.
A52s feels more fluid because od 120hz display and have better battery life. But camera on s10e is way better...
Thanks for this review - it's really helped me decide on my next phone purchase.
P.s good luck to your English cricket team in the Ashes Tests here in Australia. I hope it's a good series.
"you don't use Bixby, nobody uses Bixby".
A line I used all the time when I worked in phone support.
Thanks for the review buddy.. was eagerly waiting for this to chose between the mid-range option.
Would like to hear more of your impressions and more useful information rather than just simply reading and explaining the spec sheet.
We get the A52s 5g at 34,000 (offline), do we get the S20 FE 5g under 40k anywhere? I am really interested to buy it.
@@sebantinath I'm able to get hold of the S20 FE 5G for 41,999 as part of a special corp offer, but it is easily available for 42,000-43,000 during the sale period. My only concern if the battery is good enough to last a full day's use.
How is one ui in comparison to color os ??
@@homesavvytech I have an S20 FE 5G and the battery is excellent - easily getting through a day.
@@thenameskrisg Thanks Kris. That really helps.
I do love your reviews, they are informative, and funny. great stuff
It has MicroSD but it uses the 2nd SIM slot, as you mentioned.
I have just got this after watching your video, It's so much quicker than my old huawei, I love it!
thanks so much for your great reviews buddy.
Finally, something in the mid-range category that is faster than my 2018 Huawei Mate 20 that comes with a headphone jack. Snapdragon 778G outperforms Kirin 980 which the rest of the mid-range processors were just unable to do until now.
Xiaomi Poco F3 would be another solid choice in the mid range.
@@wizzgamer no headphone jack on the Poco F3
@@GRakesan It comes with a 3.5mm adapter I used it with no issues.
I just ordered the A52s on a 24 month contract for £29 a month with everything unlimited. I hope it's better than what I'm currently using (Huawei p20 pro)😬
@@wizzgamer No IP67 rating on the Poco F3, No Micro-SD slot,
Thank you for the video! I also have the Samsung Galaxy A52s and I have to say I like it so far. The camera could be better I suppose, but for 450 USD, I think it's satisfactory.
Thanks for your in depth and comprehensive reviews TechSpurt! I was wondering if you could give an idea of how fast the 25w charging is real time? Thanks again and take care.
Think it's about an hour 10 mins
Love mine, my dad went and got a A53, I couldn't believe he didn't do his research, the A52s 5g is an absolute beast.
I got mine for £250 in a Very sale in the summer !!!!
I just wanna know if it's good with calls
Yes it's good plus it acts as a great pocket computer too of course 😀.
Thank you for all the videos I actually got the samsung a52s on the weekend and am enjoying it alot more than the honor View 20 I had 👍
Maybe they want to save costs because it costs more money to certify it
Love all the features you've highlighted, seems a great piece of kit but..whats it like as a phone.........
Which is the better deal- this or the regular OnePlus 8?
I would go with this for it's outstanding software support.
I was wondering what to go for after this I went for it the a52s 5g. Lot phone lighting fast. Samsung wins all day everyday. A52s 5g. Great handset.
I was pleasantly surprised mine came with preinstalled screen protector. Can confirm Australian stock has this 👍 Love ya Tech Spurt
@@iosoi3145 would you recommend the phone??
Great review but I need a phone with great camera, could you recommend one that it´s no so expensive?.....thank you in advance.
