Where to find your next service information on the display screen on this Land Rover Discovery Sport 2021 model year. This information is quite well hidden and when the first service warning light comes on, after clearing, it disappears until the next warning time-frame. This information tells you when the next oil change is due or required as will as the maintenance inspection. Oil change/maintenance inspection is usually every 21000 miles (33796km) or 730 days, whichever comes first.
This information is only displayed when the ignition is on. If the engine is running, it will not be displayed.
Traditionally, a service would be due after a vehicle has reached a certain mileage or elapsed time. The Flexible Service on your Land Rover vehicle takes into account individual driving styles and conditions to determine when a service is due. This is why sometimes your service light may come on earlier. Repeated short journeys can cause the light to come on earlier as the engine doesn't always get up to its operating temperature.
Your vehicle is fitted with a service interval indicator in the instrument panel. When a service is due, and when the ignition is switched on, the relevant service message and estimated distance to the next service is calculated. On completion of a service, the instrument panel countdown feature is reset.
Using the settings button on the centre screen from the bottom left, then go to 'all' on the lower tabs. select vehicle and then you may need to scroll down on the right menu bar down to service information. This will display your service information.
Topping up the oil level can be done from the engine bay and has a traditional dipstick to check the oil level.

Start engine and allow to idle for 2 minutes
Stop engine and wait of 1 minute.
Use dipstick to check oil level, if below top line then a top up can be made. If below bottom line a top up must be made. I would top up with 200ml at a time and then repeat process. Do not top up if level is at or above the top line on the dipstick.

Capacity for service refill - 6.5 litres
Your Adbule or DEF fluid range will also be displayed as well as the required filling quantity to get it back to the maximum. If your adblue warning light is on, you will need to refill with a minimum of 10 litres to turn the warning light off.
