The photography of your previous visits further down the country are spectacular, Interesting what is around and up yonder skies and planets to see !!! I wonder th8nk as I’m in greater Manchester area not far really from Blackpool latitude same or as close to as where you are, yes nights are drawing in so fast now. look forwards to more on this fantastic starman channel. Takecare Di. Xx
Reminds me of the time I took Mars to court over their advertising slogan, “Milky Way the sweet you can eat between meals without ruining your appetite” well the reason why I took Mars to court is I ate 43 Milky Way bars and I couldn’t eat my dinner
Very interesting video Steve, some fantastic fotos of Cornwall. I saw the Milky Way at my best friend's house in Rural Ireland, a few years ago. When my partner and I went to Tenerife a few years ago, he was all excited about going on a star gazing trip to Mount Tadie, which is supposed to be one of the best places in the world to see stars. It was October/November time. It was only ok, a bit cloudy, there were a lot of stars but no where near as many, I grew up seeing in Rural Ireland, especially on a frosty winter's night. But far more than I got used to seeing living near London. Now that I live in Blackpool, I do get to see more stars than I did down in London. In Blackpool in June it's bright until almost 10pm, 15 minutes later than London, but where I come from in Ireland, Co Waterford, it's bright until almost 11pm xxx
Like you Steve, I didn’t see a single meteor. I was in a good location but every night that I tried looking up there was a high thin overcast. Maybe next year... 💫
Sorry I was a bit late putting the video out folks. It was supposed to go out at 8pm BST.
Wow absolutely stunning pics Stephen 😊 x
