- This Outbacker® Firebox Pro Eco Burn Range Oven Stove is so pretty! I can't wait to see it at work cooking wonderful glamping food in our bell tents.
We purchased it from Bell Tent Boutique who seem to be a lovely company to buy from. This video was not sponsored in anyway by Bell Tent Boutique or Original Outbacker Stoves.
If you would like to buy the Outbacker® Firebox Range Oven Stove you can follow my amazon link here... amzn.to/38zXcBc. This is the non-eco burn version. When the eco burn is in stock on Amazon I'll pin the link in the comments. :)
I'll also add the link to the follow up video showing this little wood stoves first burn.
Outtakes at the end. x
Happy glamping folks!
I bought this stove for my static caravan which was very difficult and expensive to heat using electric, gas and paraffin. This unit performed beyond my expectations easily heating a 36foot static as well as all meals and hot beverages for a whole evening consuming only five or six briquettes.
It produces a nice dry heat not the damp heat you get with gas and paraffin.
The oven gets up to a useful 250C within about 15 minutes of lighting.
One word of warning ;use gloves when touching the handles they get VERY hot.
Outbacker customer service is outstanding because the oven glass arrived with a crack extending from one corner, when I Emailed them about this I got a reply within 30 seconds and a replacement glass two days later.:)
Was your flue sections loose fitting and wobbly as that's what my firebox is like ?
@@master_Blaster91 No don't have problems in that regard. Contact Outbacker they seem to be OK to deal with aftersales.
@@starsnstuff842 I have and they say some are loose some are tight it's just how it is 🤔
@@master_Blaster91the flues are the let down on all these stoves, if you're using it in a permanent setting like i do in a van you're better off cutting a new one out of a length of thick steel piping the right inner diameter, if you plan on packing it away and transporting for tenting i'd say measure the diameter of the fitting and see if winnerwell has the right size, they sell all the sections seperate for their own stoves and might be a lot better quality. They also sell sections with flue dampers as well so it's a worth while upgrade as it gives you a lot more control over the flame and heat, you burn less wood as well.
You’re adorable, your mom is a smart lady. Love the stove. Keep the videos coming please
Thank you for giving me an honest first good look at this rather wonderful stove.
I hope it brings you as much pleasure as you wished for.
Take care, and stay safe ladies X
I love this video, so funny at the end!
"I cant work it" ROFL!
I'm looking forward to the first burn in of the two ovens. It'll be interesting to see a comparison. 🙂
Me too! I'm excited to get to use my Christmas gift :)
It's a lovely stove I'm looking forward to seeing it in action to see how well it cooks.
Want one. I have been using the Frontier Stove for years now, and and not having an oven was a major problem. Now that problem looks like it is solved.
Yes, its a great piece of kit. Stay tuned, I am planning yo do that follow up soon :)
You could buy a dutch pot to go on your frontier, that can cook everything
Just been looking at buying this stove for my winter hot tent. Definitely small them it looks on line but that can be a good thing. Thankyou just going to take a look at more of your video.
Great quality video and very informative! Also keep the bloopers coming!
Love it, I have the smaller one.....kept me warm on some very cold nights.....suscribed
Awesome! Thank you!
Very cool, can't find this for sale anywhere. It is funny whenever I see these I can't help but remember the easy bake ovens.
i like the Hobbit door in the background
Wow, never lit it so no idea how it works.
Looks good. Got mine delivered today
Yey! Thats great. I will be attempting the full review video on it as soon as I'm able to borrow it back again. Stay tuned and also, let me know what you think of yours as well!
@@AWoodlandAdventure I like it. Done a small pizza in the oven and next it will be a Fray Bentos Pie. I also used the Robens water boiler, from GoOutdoors that I usually use on my Frontier Stove, it just clips around the chimney, instead of using a kettle. Also, a couple of mates looked at it and we are going to slightly modify it. As you know it is pretty bulky and heavy, not easy too handle. So, the idea is that the top plate has an overhang on both sides. We are going to drill 2 holes on either side, through the overhang and add some sort of upright handles, to make it safer and easier to move when lit, should the need arise (obviously using leather gloves) that can also be removed and packed away. I think we will be looking at stainless steel threaded steel bar bent to make 3 sides of a square, (a square "u" inverted) as the handle, and 8 stainless steel nuts, 4 on top of the overhang plate, so can adjust the height of the handles, and 4 below for tightening up.
The Robens water heater, that fits around the Chimney.

What a nice video review well put together. I wish you all the luck you deserve with your channel, I'm with you.
Thank you kindly :)
Did you ever do a video on the first burn ?
Did you find the flue sections are very loose fitting when put together and have gaps around as that's what mine is like? But it stiffens up when it expands with the heat. I'm not happy with it though
Been eyeing this stove up for a year now for our bell tent. Looking forward to another review. Can you get a side mounted water heater on this model?
Hello Aj s, I dont think I've ever seen a side mounted water heater. I only know of the pipe heaters.
We've now done the first burn in this stove and filmed it but after doing that I realised it's probably best to use the stove a few times to be able to review it properly for people. We are going to take it too the woodland and use it there and then do a full review. :)
Have you tried it? What did you think? And what difference does the Eco Burn make? I'm thinking of buying one
Please excuse the barrage of comments form me! But watching these again feels like a little adventure journey, and reminding me of the excitement of camping. Have I missed it somewhere, or do you have any footage of your own stove in your bell tent? Cheers, Jim :-)
No problem at all! I've not actually set up a stove in my tent yet. I do have the stove and I will get there. When I do I will share it here for sure!
@@AWoodlandAdventure Nice! Seeing other people's experiences with tent stoves, they look fantastic. Might be jumping the gun a bit, but do you have space for the tent at the woodland?? Also, ventured onto your website, very nice 😀👍
@@todaysworldjw I really need to update the website! Didn't think anyone would look at it, hehe.
I dont have space at the woodland for the tent yet and the ground is too uneven but I plan to make some clearings and build a tent platform for it. All in good time :)
it's a nice woodstove. i haven't made up my mind to buy this one or the "multi function tent dragon"....would like to see you cooking on it and tell me the pro's and cons.....
Did you take the plunge and buy in the end?
I plan to film that follow up video soon so stay tuned!
It’s a very nice stove, although I would prefer the legs a bit longer and four glass clamps for each window.
Yes, the legs are quite short. It seems to work ok in the bell tent as the 'ceiling' is quite low at the edge. I think the newer version has different legs, it might be worth seeing if they are longer. :)
Hi Loved this, thank you. Are you still using the stove?
Thank you. Im gon a macke in my self, just litlle bit biger
i try to found this or the similar product in Europa but nothing Im sad and disapoint.Anybady has good isue or idea how ?
Hope you cook Somthing good☺
Have you done a cook review yet..?
Vous allez pouvoir jouer à la dînette avec ce merveilleux cadeau
Et gare à vous si vous ne vous en servez pas, alors je vous le dérobe 😉
good to camping baberqiu
Great job. Doonne mam
Waouh, quelle chance vous avez !
Où l'avez vous commandé ?
We got it from a company called 'Bell Tent Boutique' in England :)
cool...or should I say hot!! did you do the first burn vids yet?
I've been using the smaller stove but we are yet to do the first burn on the Range Oven. Life has been crazy!
Tin foil on bottem of oven for cleaning, pan for baking bisquits, etc.
Great tip!
Really, you don't know what the jubilee clips are for? logic dictates they're for securing the chimney???
Not a fan how the glass panels sit in there wish they had made a better option
❤️🥰
Cool stove. It seems very close to the ground though and if used in a hot tent with a floor it might melt or burn the floor depending on the material. Have you used it in a tent yet and where did you purchase the stove? I wonder if they have other models that sit higher.
We got it from Bell Tent Boutique. Yes, it does sit very close to the ground, I thought that too. The plan is to have it in a bell tent but we will make sure the floor is fully protected as like you say, it would otherwise melt!
The standard outbacker stove (frontier style) is much higher off the ground.
I'll be filming its first burn soon so we will see how the heat travels then :)
You could have at least shown us how it worked.
You’re adorable.
How can purchase it stove can you send me address mam
Ask Paul Bisseker: ruclips.net/video/eYBFg4vhTj4/видео.html if you have any questions about this stove, I am sure he would be happy to give you some tips.
Not available in US - Booooooo I'm so envious.
Nice video, but your disappointment in the size and weight is a bit annoying when they are clearly stated on the outbacker website.
another youtube star trying to make a review giving youtube a bad name wasting peps time. We need rating so we can watch and learn what needs to be taught or is learning plainly a thing of the past
Oooooh, you called me a star! Thank you! ;)
Look so weight
It is!
