Thanks for sharing. Just bought ordered one for our family camping trips. Mainly to be used to keep warm, but if it doesn't give out enough heat for that then we can get a bigger one in the future. Thanks again.
How much heat do these give off? Would they double up as a firepit if sat round it outside on colder camping trips? I'm not a fan of fire pits due to smoke and problems if its windy so thought this would be a good alternative.
You might have to sit close to it as they're really designed for heating a shed or tent which they do very well indeed Smoke wouldn't be an issue though as the flue is quite tall
I've wanted one of these for a while and now there's several companies making them they're more affordable 👍 Thanks for all the support brother really appreciate it Take care Roo

Hi, great vid but I have a couple of question please. do the legs get hot? I'm thinking of having it in my house running the pipe SAFELY out the window(all made properly) cheers
Legs would be OK but I would say you should have it on a concrete paving slab or something to protect your floor, you'll get embers and ash fall out occasionally and definitely when you're cleaning it out Most importantly have a carbon monoxide detector in the room if using in an enclosed space like that All the best Roo
Does any smoke come out the chimney sections where they slide together or would they need sealant? They say good for tents etc and thought it should be ok
The sections fit inside one another so the smoke flows through very well I've used this inside a small canvas tent several times and not had any smoke inside
Does this give off much heat? I have a typical fire pit which is as hot as you want it, you can pile on more wood. I was just going to use it in my backyard and hope to keep warm spring to autumn. Cooking will be done which I seen it can do no problem. It's more the radiant heat I am banking on.
It radiates plenty of heat for warming a shelter and cooking as it's designed to do over time But in the open you have to be very close to it to benefit from that as it's not as radiant as a campfire The trade off is it vents the smoke from your shelter and is more fuel efficient Take care Roo
@@PreparedCamping well it's in the post anyway hopefully no buyer's remorse, I don't plan on using it in a shelter or tent, but I did see you can buy 45 degree chimney attachment, might be of experimental interest to see how it feels in a room environment by having the chimney going out the window.
Hey great video I am interested to use it in big summer house in the garden the size aproxímate 4x4 m do you think this can warm up a room that size quick ? I found a normal cooking grill stove but Cost £700 thanks for doing the video

Nice. I presume it is the same as the Frontier Stove available in the UK. A tip I was given for mine that a friend did to his. Get some metal grating or similar, I used a cut down small piece of old drain cover ( the horizontal type you put end to end along a pavement or end of driveway to drain rain water away) and put it in the bottom of the burning chamber. This will make the bottom of the chamber last longer as the heat of the fire is not directly on the bottom of the fire chamber, as only the ashes fall through that are already cooling. It basically provides a double thickness for the bottom. Something like this. www.drainagesuperstore.co.uk/product/aco-multidrain-m100d-slotted-iron-grating-500mm-d-400-loading.html
