Come along with us as we sail the high seas in search of FREE PLANTS (and sometimes other free stuff) we find on trash / landscape pick-up day! This is our endless quest to find FREE plants!

Geez...yer killin' me...36 degrees in Jax...but most of my banana have starts, not showing much hope for my Bismark palm, sad...can we get some spring weather please, only one day in the 80's so far...I'm drooling over the giant bromiliad(and everything else)I had beautiful plants in Lake Placid...but I am way more knowledgeable now a year in as in what to plant...so cool that you home school your kids, they will thrive now out of the indoctrination system, so cute, I love watching Teddie...PLANT PIRATES RULE...!!!
Oh so cold! I’m sorry. It’s been colder than normal here too. Bummer about your Bismarck palm, I love the color green those are. Hopefully it’s just hibernating. Glad your bananas are popping up again. We enjoy homeschooling, it’s great to be able to spend so much time with our kids. They learn so quick. Wishing for some warmer weather soon!!!

Do you plant the seeds from your food as well? Mango, avocado, pomegranate, pepper fruit..?
We do with pineapples, green onions, red potatoes, sweet potatoes and coconuts! We need to have more experiments with our produce:-)
