I was born in Tashkent. For me this is the city of childhood. I have been living in Russia for a long time, I went to Tashkent twice on vacation. Tashkent, won't let me go. I dream of going there with my family, but it’s not possible yet. And taking this opportunity, I want to tell everyone to the world: NO TO WAR!!!!!

I hope you have an amazing time! I enjoyed the metro system. It was a bit tricky to navigate on the first couple of trips, especially with the interchange stations, but it didn't take long to become a pro at switching platforms and lines.

I really enjoyed visiting Tashkent. It's so easy to get around and there are amazing sights to see! Samarkand was the absolute highlight of my trip, though! It's so beautiful!

Thanks for a great video. I visited Uzbekistan earlier this year. I loved Tashkent - it was so different from the other places I saw, and was less touristy. Really fascinated to hear you got a $50 flight. It’s generally a long and expensive flight from Australia, otherwise I’d be back there next week 😊
I loved it all - Tashkent was especially beautiful! The flight was from Abu Dhabi on Wizz Air - they have some fantastic flight deals. Although, you have to be available to fly on whatever dates you can get the cheap flight. The tough part is flying from Australia to the UAE - it's very expensive at the moment.
