Days ago I've returned from Istanbul, Turkey. And i found it is so beautiful country. And while walking here & there with my father, he kept saying that Tashkent is more beautiful and cleaner country than turkey that he visited before. I was like how is it possible? In my eyes that time turkey has a very beautiful places and quiet clean (of course way more cleaner than Egypt). After heard so many times what he kept saying and fyi my dad is some kind of person that rarely excited and impressed about something, but when he kept saying Tashkent this Tashkent that, i like holy god i must go there myself! Btw, thanks for the video 😚👍🏻👍🏻

What an incredible adventure, the mystique of the Silk Route in a modern metropolis not yet encumbered by Western brands or overrun by tourists. Note on declining lake: much of UZBEKISTAN's economy is driven by hydroelectric power. Global warming endangers the water supply on which those generators depend!
thank you so much for opening my mind. I hope that Uzbekistan stays independent and prospers and never gets over run by mass tourism and global corporate greed.
Greetings from Uzbekistan, glad you stayed in Tashkent and didn't use it just as a checkpoint. Actually, there are international food chains like KFC, wendy´s, paul and so on. and instead of that "scary-even-for-locals" mountain lift, you should have gone to Amirsoy, it's much nicer and everything is the same as in Europe since the swiss company has built it. Other than that, for future travelers, visit churches and mosques of Tashkent, and of course Soviet modernist buildings, they are stunning. Loved your video:) p.s. the one you showed as a library was actually a symposium, the library was the next, bigger building.
