Lastly, in Sonic Chronicles, in the final battle against Ix, Super Sonic's final move in his combo attack is a triple energy beam, and even Shadow in his base form is capable of using the Chaos Force to attack with a beam. So yeah, Super Sonic has a beam attack.
Also, 12:41 this was made before UI was a thing. HOWEVER, the "trick" you're referring to in the Comics is called Ultra Sonic, which is a state Sonic can achieve by absorbing countless Rings. On its own, its power is somewhere between Super and Hyper, but I THINK, I don't know, but I THINK he can combine the power of Ultra with Super or Hyper, and become A LOT more powerful...
Well, that Sonic was the Archie one and a plus, he used a chaos energy blast like that in a lot of games actually, there is some from Sonic Chronicles, Sonic Advance 3 and his Archie as well, i think it was with Enerjack, could be wrong. There are some atacks like Super Sonic Wind as well, and some in Sonic X and i think Adventure 2 had a few as well
