This is my reaction to Sonic vs Goku by Studio B Animation! This is a 20 minute sprite animation battle between Sonic and Goku. Let me know in the comments your thoughts on the fight!

I think in one of the Sonic rush games or something Sonic stays super for multiple days or weeks, clearly showing that the rings thing is just a game mechanic for balancing.

@@bobandmrmecaleb5873 I think they choose sources that make their decision easier and possibly less polarizing. Anything that can be seen as obscure (even if it's clearly canon) may be ignored to avoid any wide complaints. Unfortunately it almost always ends up having the opposite effect

You should DEFINATELY watch ebullience engine's sonic vs jiren, the sequel sonic, goku and jiren vs broly, and then the final one sonic vs broly! Please it would make me so happy for you to react to it but if you can't that's ok.
If you do want to, there's 2 parts to sonic vs jiren, then the third part goku joins in and then the last in is endgame. Thanks for the awesome reaction!
Again you people the power scaling is not realistic Broly can destroy entire galaxies without using 50% of its power and jiren is stronger than a God of destruction, God of destruction can destroy have a planet without using a quarter of his power what makes you think with chaos super emeralds can do against them as fits and either of those two forms can destroy a Galaxy!!!!!

Oh my tree-branch I'm a Sonic fan and even this gets annoying, well I also like dragon Ball, but that's beside the point I really see no point of arguing.
Divine Flames is only HALF-right. This is actually a composite of both Archie and Game Sonic. Both are equally strong, though you can't experience it with GS. It's GS because he has the Light Speed Attack and Hyper Sonic. It's also Archie because he adds Ultra state from the comics to his Hyper from the games at the very last attack. Moral of the animation: NEVER underestimate ANY Sonic.

Game Sonic actually has the same capabilities as Archie Sonic, but no human, and only the most powerful supercomputers in the world, would be able to control him to the level of power he exhibits in the comics. GS IS AS, but either perpetually in slow-motion, or just holding back so we can actually play the game.

Clearing up some things for ya, because yes...I am a DBZ fan...so...here they are:
5:45 Thats called afterimage, one of the most common moves in Dragon Ball
10:02 That red haired form is called Super Saiyan God...its what happened when Goku fought the God of Destruction Beerus
13:52 And finally...that blue haired form is called Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (also called Super Saiyan Blue, for obvious reasons)....its what happens when Goku combines Super Saiyan God with regular Super Saiyan

If you pay attention to the end credits in sonic the hedgehog 2 it clearly states that sonic can maintain his super form for two weeks.

The Sonic we see here is VERY different then the one we see in the video games. The Sonic here is the one from the Archie series and, while I haven't read them myself, that Sonic has been known to be *Very* overpowered. VG Sonic does have the potential to be that powerful, but we have yet to see anything like it (the only time we have is his Hyper Form from StH3&K)

@@pippomela Hmm. Alright, if you say so. At the same time though, Super Sonic is supposed to be the 'end all be all' form, even though we know a more powerful form exists. It just seems odd to me. (Though, I wish they brought Hyper back in the games, but that could just be me.)
The reason sonic didn't survive the wrath of galeem was because the smash Bros version of sonic isn't the same as sonic all of the characters in smash Bros except Kirby are weaker than their original counter parts

Late to the party but I love how everyone misses the fact towards the end Sonic left the universe to line up an attack, and they collided infront of the earth, I've no doubt that in marshal skill Goku is superior but that speed difference is so one sided its not even funny
Nah sonic just went out of the galaxy. You can see the other galaxies when he does that.
It was the resulting blast that destroyed the universe.
@Lala Bostac not really, if sonic didn't have his insane speed and had to engage in a fight with goku (without his insane speed as well to make it fair) sonic would probably be worse at fighting, his durability would still be superior but his fighting skills are not as good as goku's
Sonic isn't a martial artist
He is a speedster that mostly relies on his speed to be effective in battle.
He would still beat goku because of how much the emeralds outclass anything in the DB multiverse but he isn't better at fighting and definitely has less physical strength.
What gives sonic his strength is his momentum. Not his actual physical strength.
You could make a case for sonic's legs for obvious reasons but anything else is definitely speed reliant.

Sonic is most likely not going to fight Goku directly. He will resort to high speed tackles and the occasional kick.

Eggman mechs are not exactly the type of opponent to spar with. They die quickly and even Metal Sonic isn't fought like that.
To put it simply Sonic can't have superior fighting skills because he rarely gets into an actual fight. Goku's opponents are specifically martial artists who fight him directly.
Sonic is still winning but that doesn't mean he is better at everything.
Yes his speed makes up for his inferior fighting skills but it doesn't replace them in the statistical sense.
It won't change the outcome of the fight but that doesn't mean we should just ignore it.
@Lala Bostac you have made one point in this reply that being " in VS battles sonic actually starts attacking his opponents with punches". Dude these are fan animations, what Sonic does in them is up the the animator.
Also he used punches in exactly 2 games.
Sonic the Fighters and sonic battle, with Sonic the Fighters being a glorified boxing game. It's in a boxing ring and most of the attacks are punches so it's pretty much half the game.
In Sonic Battle he uses exactly one punch and then the rest of his attacks are kicks or spin attacks.
Another thing that i would like to ask is how did sonic who mostly fights small or gigantic robots by ramming into them at high speeds has more traditional fighting experience than a martial artist?
Sonic can't be better at this because he rarely does it.
Also about the strength part.
Imagine a scenario where you would be punched by Sonic while both of you are standing still and then imagine the same with Goku.
Sonic hits hard but Goku's hit will be stronger.
You seem to think that winning instantly gives the winner superiority in everything without actually thinking about what actually led to that result.

In sonic battle we can see this clearly.
Also goku has fought gods too.
And take note of the gods themselves.
The gods from DB are all humanoid/anthropomorphic martial artists themselves while the gods from STH are kaiju sized monsters who you can't fight with a fist fight for obvious reasons.
The logic would be there if you actually did a proper comparison.
Also i have already said this before but it looks like i have to repeat myself. Sonic is not bad at fighting.
But his actual fighting skills or experience aren't on Goku's level.
He will still win but he is statistically a worse fighter.
I am not underestimating Sonic.
I am a fan of both series and i can clearly imagine how a fight between the 2 would go.

We know basically nothing about Dark Sonic, so it would have been pretty hard to decide how strong it would be in this fight.

I know this happened so long ago that no one is probably even going to read this comment but why didn’t goku just got ultra instinct. And you can’t say that Goku didn’t have access to it, because sonic didn’t have access to the super emeralds or the chaos emeralds he just Spond both of them and one set is supposed to be in a different dimension. there is no reason why sonic should’ve won this.
