Attending their show tomorrow in Los Angeles. I am SO excited! Fantastic performance despite the technical difficulties! They handled the situation like pros. They were definitely in their element at Coachella! I've seen a couple of people refer to them as the "Kings of Coachella" -I'd have to agree.

That's a Northern Michigan /UP Accent America is a big place and there are over 500 distinct dialects. In the NYC there are over 20 0r 30 depending on the borough you are from. These kids are only like 19 and 21 and if you look at Stones, Beatles, Who and Led Zep interviews from the 1960's they are very similar. They are awesome I can find you 10 songs where Led Zeppelin took artistic lic from a artistic that came before them. They are terrific and if it ain't broke don't fix it!

Well, in my opinion this group really showed what kind of music and influences brought them out from the garage days... Everybody knows all bands started as brothers + friends/ cousins/ schoolmates with almost same age group and almost same music influences.. The lead singer has to be putting on a gimmick lol... I love the band but noticed he's been talking like some drunken 50 year old British rockstar whose been around the world 40 times but he's a kid from Detroit haha. Doesn't talk anything like his twin brother right beside him lmao.

Pretty sure that his voice is just tired after singing so much, roughly in public. They JUST came out of the Coachella performance, so his voice is just tired af.
He used to sound like his brother but he just loves talking like that (pretty sure that's just his normal voice now though). He always was the overly dramatic/class clown guy in school that everyone just enjoyed being around. He always dressed liked that and moved around with over exaggerated body movements just because he thought it was fun. He has done that voice since he was in middle school.
I don't know if I would rather hear the singer sing or talk. He has the 2 coolest voices.

Ok let me explain briefly why they are not the next led zeppelin. They are well mannered and not surrounded in controversy. The spirit of rock and roll lives on in rap music today. With rebellious, shocking and drug addicted rap stars taking the mantle. These boys are too well behaved to be rockstars.
But they are. You're the only one who doesn't think so. Nothing at all wrong with Zeppelin or other older bands. And your completely wrong about the rap/rock thing. Rock still lives through rock.
Well, in my opinion this group really showed what kind of music and influences brought them out from the garage days... Everybody knows all bands started as brothers + friends/ cousins/ schoolmates with almost same age group and almost same music influences.. They. choose the classic rock/ the music of 70’s to be interpreted. The music involves sex drugs & rock n’ roll..With this millineal generation....and music.. I may say that they’re brave and pretty blessed cause they we’re able to share their likes in music and were exposed,even though they sounds so much like the Zeppelin, Generations of music and sounds come and go, every band / artist will be remembered with their original piece, These kids have great potentials, but still have long long way to prove themselves whether to play, stay or just fade away.

I think the accent that the lead singer has is just him trying to be comical, possibly his way of dealing with having to be outgoing and extroverted, when he and his brother aren’t really. I love what they do, I’m a hippie and I recognize other hippies when I see them.
I hope this band lasts awhile, my intuition tells me they will if they stay away from the major labels and just play music for the love of it.Music these days is almost dead.
