Wolverine Peak, Alaska

With a free day between larger objectives and a good weather forecast, I set out toward Wolverine Peak, one of the most accessible 5000' peaks in Alaska's Chugach State Park. It was a nice change to follow a maintained trail all the way to the summit, where I was treated to a clear view of the upper basins to the west of the peak. Not bad for a quick half-day trip just minutes outside of Anchorage.
