Life can be overwhelming, and it's totally normal to feel what you are feeling, and you aren't alone, you are loved ❤You have many friends and we are all here for you!
Try to stay positive Jeremy. PWP had some great news this week with Congress passing the National Act to End Parkinson’s. Means more resources to finding better treatments and hopefully a cure. As for Maggie try a 25 foot retractable leash in the backyard. I had a dog that wanted her space too, and it worked well.
Thx! Our yard has a lot of things to get tangled in and Maggie is as dumb as a sack of hammers.😂 We will figure out this wireless nonsense. Till then, she’s on our shaded deck.
Always remember to some of us you will always be a hero. Spent the day with other Parkies being evaluated by a full class of third year DPT students. We are never alone and there’s always someone to connect with. Waiting on my Venmo info.
Keep your head up Jeremy, we all have up and down days. I always tell myself that I have less problems than some other folks do. Exercise always makes me feel better. Unfortunately I tore my Achilles 12 weeks ago and haven’t been able to exercise until 2 weeks ago. Small steps at a time.. I chose DBS because I figured it would give me the best chance to feel better. Everyone has to do what’s best for them. 👍
It’s hard enough not being able to drive since I voluntarily quit driving. I feel like my freedom has been robbed. If my neurologist ever writes to my state to request my license be taken I would mentally be messed up. I’m not driving anyway but it’s a “mind thing” to me. I guess I should look at as it’s for everyone’s safety on the road including my own as well as other families and children . Just a tough subject for this old Veteran 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I know others have said it also, but if it's any comfort, your channel helps a lot of folks -- very relatable as we navigate the journey. Just started by second official year w/ PD - still hanging in there w/ work, but on the bad days people around me (even those who know about my Dx) have no idea what I'm pushing through. They expect me to be "on" all the time. Tough sometimes; thanks for sharing your experiences; makes the journey a little easier.
Funny thing is I are very comfortable being social when I’m on. However, when I am off, I’m way off and don’t even want look people in the eye. Thx, Julie!
We all have our days…what’s important is to snap out of it sooner than later and not stew on things. It sounds like you’re handling it very well. Hope tomorrow is better for you!
Great video ❤I know how it is bro. Same thing I can’t talk when I’m off. funny you mentioned the post office!!! I went today..tweaking badly. The ladies were so happy to see me. I usually see them once a month for Amazon returns 😂 The first thing they said was “how was your surgery?” So I explained the situation. Anyway, send some sunshine this way ❤️🇨🇦
Jeremy I love to listen to you. This time there is a noise in the background of your video from something like a waterfall or a water sprinkler. The noise makes me going to the toilet . Greetings from Germany
vielen dank! The noise you hear is a fountain my wife set up. You are too sweet! BTW I’m going to get a shirt with the German flag on it next. I have some great grandparents who were from Deutchland✌️

I plan on doing just that! Thx, dude!😁
Hey Jeremy. I understand the desperation you are feeling due to limited treatment options being available. It nags at me everyday.
I knew you would get it! Thx, bro!

Amen, sister!😎
Going to my first parkinson's group meet today . Was really good and positive about parkinson's, but now feel crap.
What happened?
Now I understand the T-shirt better! It matches you! Super great!!!😎
Thank you!
Same here, I got PD from Agent Orange Vietnam 70. The VA has been wonderful, they made my house totally handicap accessible. Happy birthday 🎉
I hate it for you being 48, I was diagnosed at 57, now 72😊

Not an easy journey. I get frequent bouts of nausea and vomiting. Fatigue and bone pain.

That is upsetting to hear. I wonder how much longer I have, too
Is the guitar shown at the beginning of the video a Gibson SG?
Yes! It was my favorite guitar to play on stage, because it is so light. Plus, I love AC/DC😎

@@robertstilson2901 Great song and voice!
You need a change of pace. Learn the harmonica.
That’s a great idea!
Buy a jdr harmonica. Round holes and very easy to blow. Key of c g and a to start covers most songs. Enjoy.
