Exactly, man. Everyone is nitpicking the cue @3:10, which is a throwback to Chasms, but how can change in Palomo's style evolve if everyone wants what they heard on the first LP. Its called evolution for a reason. This "Annie" is one hell of a muse.
+K Rose devolution towards the boring norms. Yawn. I can get this kind of music anywhere, like the 90s from Ace of Base. RIP another great artist and lack of unique sound. As Larry Bird says "same stuff".
I'm really liking the direction Alan is heading at. Each album has been an interesting journey. I loved Psychic Chasms, Era Extrana and I can't wait to see what's next

this is shaping out to be a great year for new music. new albums from beach house, tame impala, neon indian, grimes, theres so many more to come and can't wait! best year of music since 2012

probably super uncommon way to find this song but i saw someone listening to spotify on discord and they were listening to this song so i looked it up and its a massive bop
David Grossman well, After I listened Vega INTL Night School, I'm kinda dissapoint. Alan went to a vaporwave/80s stuff on this. Chillwave is dead tho.
"Kids these days don't recognize the hash tag as a pound sign." "They think a floppy disc is a 3-D print of the save symbol." "They think Urban Outfitters is selling calendars when they're really vinyl LP's." You'd think all these aging fans would be excited about a current artist trying to keep a classic sound relevant and appealing to a new generation but instead the expert elders are rampant in their discouragement. So much so that you can't help but think they hope the style of music they love so much dies along with their youth and optimism. I guess it's only natural to get upset when your favorite shirt that you stopped wearing years ago gets passed along to your little brother.
This is giving me la isla bonita vibes I love it. This is amazing even by Neon Indian standards. The water swooshes in the back are A grade and the album artwork adds even more to the experience. Beachy.

ACE OF BASE's "All That She Wants", PHIL COLLIN's "Don't Lose My Number", MEN AT WORK's "Down Under", MARION SINCLAIR's "Kookaburra", and TOTO's "Africa" were introduced by mutual friends at a fondue party and their cocaine fueled late night orgy resulted in the birth of the beautiful, yet haunting question of: "Where the fuck is Annie?"
If you have the opportunity to see them live, I highly recommend it! I've seen them three times here in Atlanta and Athens, GA and their sound is fantastic. You can tell the entire band really enjoys sharing their music with the world!
Wow that little bit at 3:10 and the bass at the end really take the cake for me. I've been waiting for them to release new material and I'm really digging this.
I love it. I like the new and throwback sound. And by throwback, I mean throwback to your previous albums. Feel free to let Seth Haley play with some of your new stuff too! ;)
ureille Oh yeah, I forgot the slight remixes of songs as well. Look, I like it. It's cool to chill to, but I don't buy that it's anything more than reworks of existing songs. There are those who have made analyses of what vaporwave means and all its symbolisms, and I definitely don't buy into any of that. To me, it's just good music that has already existed.
neon indian brings us magic yet again

I really love the dreamy-chiptune vibe of Era extraña and would not mind at all to see some more of that, but this is great too
the arrangement and production in this song is subtle but god-level genius.
3:40 is my favorite part, love that bass line
sick cumbiawave brah

711Rod cumbia and peruvian sounds from 3:00. sick tunes tho.

This sounds like something that would have been a hit for Duran Duran or Soft Cell in 1982/83.
Yeah ♡☆♡☆♡☆♡
Not, more like the post new wave NRG stuff of the 1986-1990 era
Nah. It's more if the new wave synth type stuff to me

Why is this song under rated
I was on Omegle when I asked someone solving a weird rubix cube for song requests. They requested this, said it's their favorite song. I can see why.
SUCH a funky riff at 3:39. I NEED more of that. Can somebody make an extended version of this song please? It has to be done.

Ooh, yeah, this is the sound I've been waiting for!
This just might be my summer anthem, along with "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)" by Jamie xx.

I've been waiting for some new Neon Indian. This song will grow on me in time.
Hoping that the new album will sound more like whats going on at 3:10. A very good song regardless.

Insulin, insulin machine...
I legit dislike you for this lol
Mi Da omg it actually sounds he's saying that😂😂😂
That's the Chinese version
Man I could hear a song of nothing but 3:10 - 3:20.
I hope there will be stuff like that on the new album!
Sun Worshiper My favorite part is 0:49 - 0:59
Sun Worshiper Definitely the best part of the song. I think it's a hint that he might be leaving the old sound behind. Shame.
My favorite part was 0:00 to 4:01
Nicholas Vaughan i think its more of a hehe i still got it
Sun Worshiper I love that hook/riff in the background of 1:38, absolutely love this sound.

This Sounds so 80s and I love it.
infectious! Great song

This song has such an awesome tropical vibe.
Met the bass player the other day. Chi dude and chill music.
I love the bass solo at the end
Sounds like 70s disco mixed with 80s new wave mixed with modern vaporwave.
Already the soundtrack to my summer of next year!
It reminds me the 80´s, great song!
This is so fucking good. Loving that Memphis style 80s cover, too! :D

Devin Tariel I can hear it clearly.

This has a vaporwave feel to it, except unlike vaporwave, it's all original! :D I like it.
JEEVES635 is it mostly because of the cover art :3
It's sort of vaporwavy but something about it just completely takes it out of that genre
Jorge Uribe The fact that it's not just a slowed-down version of an existing song.
+JEEVES635 Vaporwave is far from that.
ureille Oh yeah, I forgot the slight remixes of songs as well.

To me, it's just good music that has already existed.
That artwork reminds me of the older Sierra games. Getting a huge Leisure Suit Larry vibe.
This would have been top of the charts in the 80s but that decade had to ruin it for the rest of us.
AUGH THIS IS SUCH A GOOD TRACK, JUST IN TIME FOR THE SUMMER FEELS
I was wondering when Neon Indian would be back, great track!
Os melhores anos foi nos anos 80s
Muy buen tema!!!
