Getting a diagnosis was my key to learning to live with SS. Decided I could spend the rest of my life with a poor me attitude or deal with it and go on enjoying my life. I chose the latter. Keeping a positive attitude helps me deal with all the inconveniences of it and my other AI problems. I am 78 and was diagnosed over 30 years ago.

Been since 19
10 years now
Ssa ssb negative
Ana speckled twice 1:160 told low and brushed off
Lip biopsy negative
Second one showed some inflammation may need another they said
Eye test showed no tears
Dry eyes extremely bad waking up and laying down crusted shut
Dry green crust in nose
Dry scalp and skin
Rashes on face
Heat cold issues
Cold hands feet
Sleep issues waking up all the time every 2 hours
No answers making me paranoid

Have you checked for other illnesses that might be related? For example thyroid conditions or others

I have Sjrogrens and I get brain fog I cant absorb what i read all the are collectively together I struggle to single out the line I'm reading. I'm always tired and I'm always drinking Fluids/water. But with that I'm going to the toilet a lot. I'm just wondering if this disease affects the bladder and also the anus which gets sore and itcy. Can you get crohns disease along with Sjrogrens Syndrome?

My ANA came back positive but ENA did not so now I’m waiting for the only rheumatologist in the area to call me. This will be the third time I’ve been to a rheumatologist with no diagnosis of anything. Yet I have nearly every symptom of Sjogren’s. ☹️

Contact lenses, both scleral and soft, are are a lifesaver. Improves symptoms 90%. I have both kinds, and like my corneal specialist said, they cover the sensitive nerve endings on the cornea.

Sjogrens patients also have GI problems/ constipation Use magnesium supplements Biotin Supplement for hair loss
And pain medication
