And yeah for Cafe Fiore' re-opened at the end of Laurel Park, top of all those 260 steps! Thanks again Bob for another informative adventure!

Thanks Bob! I always love learning more about the places I regularly travel. I live within walking distance of the locks, the marina and golden gardens. I feel incredibly lucky and privileged every single day.

Seattle has such nice city parks. I'm excited to learn more about them in this series.

Nice. I may have to do this on foot but in spring / summer. Biked a lot in that area but never walked all the way to the zoo. That should be fun!

It's a nice little route, but don't underestimate the stair climb!

We were sad when they renovate at the Marina, because we loved going to Charlies, a kind of divey restaurant, for Nachos and beer and overlooking the marina. Nice to see Café Fioré open again. Oh, and Larsen's Bakery! Man! You passed by another of our favorite eatery/drinkeries The Barking Dog Alehouse on 70th! Fun walk!

Neat, I'll have to see if I can find some historical photos of Charlie's!
