This video brings back memories 😭Thank you💖
Come on back.
C'mon back mate.
鈴木多美子 the stories you must have, please do tell. Seattle music scene was electric then 🤩
That's the shortest line at the original starbucks I've ever seen
Pisco Pete I was there today without a line! Around 10am 😀
I went exactly one year ago and that line was insane
original starbuck's line is rediculace, go find storyville coffee, up the stairs past pike place bar & grill
Please do 10 underrated things to do in Seattle :)))
Nice video from someone who live here.
For aviation buffs you may want to visit the Museum of Flight. You can easily spend half a day there. They even have a Concorde to walk through.
There's also a 2-person simulator that's kinda like VR, except it's not.
For shopping, theres also an outdoor center called University Village in North East Seattle that is great!
That’s a really good idea, I saw a Boeing 747 land 40 feet away from me there!!its really cool
Do underrated seattle things next!!
klink I want to do a video on that!
Hey guys, I would appreciate if you guys watch my new video I filmed about the Rocky Mountains and other places I have visited in the summer! 🎥📹
ill be honest. ive lived in Seattle my entire life (actually no i live in the desert opposite the mountains) and i know where EVERYTHING is. ive never been to the gum wall nor have i been to the shopping center. everywhere else i've been to and loved it. Seattle's a city that ive always felt at home in and ever since we moved away the longing to go back has never stopped. doesn't matter where i go or what i do. Seattle's my home and i love my city. i can say im both surprised and not surprised by the things suggested (and not suggested). definitely subscribing!
You can tell this video took so much work and so much effort was put in. It's beautiful and it remains me of your vlogs. 😊
What efforts she Google it
For a person who lives in Seattle this is pretty accurate to what a few tourist like to do, or just what We basic Seattle ppl enjoy doing!
Right now I am in Seattle for the coast guard, I can honestly see why you love it here. I am from New England, and Seattle reminds me so much of home. I ended up going to Pike place market. Super happy with this video and cannot wait to explore more.
when I think of Seattle my mind goes to Grey's anatomy!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 me too..
I was a background actor on Grey's anatomy. They actually film it in Los Angeles.
What the FUCK is worng with you?
Me 2
I think of iCarly
DON'T FORGET WINGS OVER WASHINGTON! When I was on the pier we went there, it's basically the equivalent of Soaring over California, except the images are of Washington and altogether it's a lot cooler.
Hi, thx monica! Never been there yet but now i know what to do when we are in Seattle for 2 days in september 2018.
I love the editing of this video
I live in Tacoma and i go to Seattle all weekends i just fell in love of the city.
This seems to be such a charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
I like your video because you just didn’t sit behind a camera to explain what’s going on in Seattle; you actually showed us! Awesome 👌🏾
I would love top ten underrated things to do in Seattle! I've seen all the major things so many times and would love to see what I've been missing out on! 😍
life long seattlite. You get a thumbs up just for the Pike's place vs Pike place rant. Thank you!
I automatically think of the Seattle Grunge Scene of the 90's
Jamie Hellfire nirvana?
yesss
I automatically think of an abundance of heroin and cocaine
@Jemie Hellfire Alice in Chains ?
NIRVANA!!!
I love you for this. I just moved to seattle with my daughter . And finding stuff to do is hard . So this helps alot .
10 surprise things to do or see in Seattle. The underrated things is a great idea.
This video makes Toronto look like an interesting place to go as well.
I would love to see the most underrated things to do in Seattle! I loved this video!
Ashley's Roses Hey guys, I would appreciate if you guys watch my new video I filmed about the Rocky Mountains and other places I have visited in the summer! 🎥📹
Frye Art Museum. Totally free and very good
There is also underground tour, ride the ducks tour, Pacific Science Center and the EMP right under the space needle. There are a lot of cool places to go
10 things to do in Seattle on a rainy day!
Sabrina Noble, you mean
*ahem*
10 things to do in Seattle on a regular day.
I mean, it rains about 300 or more days of the year.
At Sabrina Noble - It rains mostly in winter bc it’s our rainy season. Summer and Fall is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful with lots of sunshine and temperatures that are very comfortable.
I’m from Seattle, but am moving to Phoenix later this year for my job. This video reminded me to see all the great spots before I leave.
I used to live and wa and I LOVED going to seattle. PIKE PLACE MARKET WAS AMAZING!!
My husband and I moved to the Seattle area about two years ago. Honestly we found the space needle a bit boring, nice if you just want to be able to say you did it. If you want to see something really cool, go to the chihuly garden and glass museum (possibly spelled incorrectly) it is incredible. If you can find the space needle, you can find the museum, it's right under the needle.
When I think of Seattle I think of Frasier, my all time favourite sitcom!
I've lived here a year and I didn't know about those last 2 parks you mentioned...also, didn't know about the bridge at Nordstrom...guess I forgot my own rule of "always look up!" Thanks for these!
Watching your vlogs has made me want to visit Seattle and now this video makes me want to go MORE. And I'd love both of the videos you suggested!
Side note, Texas actually has two of those towers. There's Reunion Tower in Dallas (which you showed) and Tower of the Americas in San Antonio which looks a lot more like a needle. However, I'd definitely say Seattle's is the most iconic and well known!
I'm from Texas also, and I had no idea about the one in San Antonio. I was actually just there a few months ago so that would have been cool to check out! The one is Dallas is, of course, iconic. Seen it hundreds of times, yet never been in it.
fun fact: on the pier (next to the Ferris wheel) there is a building called Wings Over Washington. It’s basically a Seattle version of Soaring over California! I actually enjoy it a lot more, to be honest.
Underrated one please
Dear Monica Thanks for the trip around Seattle. It's always nice to see the city I love! Working in Seattle I get out of town as fast as possible. But it is Nice to go to the market IE: Lowe's My fav place to kick back get a beer/ Drink watch the ferries and a stroll through the Market. Thanks again for you video. A after hour trip in the future is a must! Around Seattle out!
I'm a student from Central Europe. After I graduate I want to move to Seattle because it really seems to fit my personality (INTJ with strong Se), so I hope that I will live there in a few years :)
My mom works in Seattle, and I’ve been to like most these places
I live in Seattle. You also should mention that the space needle is a restaurant as well. Another thing is to catch the ferry ❤️
After moving to Seattle, I love riding the Ferry to Bremerton the most.
I've always loved your videos but now that I'm planning on moving to Seattle in the next month I'm binging your vlogs even more than usual. I'm excited for underrated things to do in Seattle. Editing on point btw, as usual!
I just went to Seattle for the first time and I went to all the places in this video
When I think of Seattle, I think Space Needle.
THE MUSIC YOU USE IN YOUR VIDEOS = THE BEST. Thank you honestly
I want the Underrated Seattle one first please thank you!
Thank you so much for this!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just decided today that I want to visit Seattle in July. I'm from Illinois so this helps tremendously!! I appreciate you sharing your opinion of what to do and not just a city travel guide. I'm sure I'll watch this many more times. I'd love to hire you when I come out!
Your editing is ON POINT! Nice video Monica you could be an endorsor of Seattle. 😂
Just got back to NYC from my first trip to Seattle! What an amazing time I had! I was able to visit most items on your list.
Seattle looks a great city to spend some time in.
Look at this place. Amazing. It's also the house of Grunge.
When I think about Seattle, I think about the Space Needle. And grunge music (my favorite). I've never been to Seattle. But I would love to
Those are two of the great things about Seattle Matt
these are my favorite types of videos to see! Don't get discouraged Monica you are incredibly talented and inspire me every time I see your videos :)
Yessss. Those video ideas sounds amazing. PLEASE do them
actually I think about iCarly when I hear seattle
I'm a texas native and I was stationed on JBLM I took WA and Seattle for granted watching this made me kinda homesick cuz Washington after the military was my 2nd home. Beautiful video btw ❤🙂
When i think seattle i think about the hospital I was born in and the place i’ve been raised for all 13 years of my life 🥺😁
I'm planning a trip to Seattle and right off the top of my head I'm thinking Space Needle, visit Mount Rainier, visit the Redwood forest in Point Defiance Park or thereabouts, take a ferry ride around the bay, visit the Canadian border, visit the beach, see old Seattle underground, try some local restaurants, visit the 1st starbucks, and maybe try some skiing if its in season.
Now I really want to go to Seattle ☺️ Actually I've always wanted to go, this just makes me want to even more
you should do 10 other things to do, seattle is amazing and your way of editing videos is AMAZING
Born and raised in Seattle ☝🏼 I love this city
I commented on your $20 day doing Seattle video on our 20th anniversary.
We went to West Seattle and did bring food and absorbed the beach with great food on Alli beach. Left on the ferry back to the city after dark. Beautiful (and romantic)! THANKS!And
I never would have associated Seattle with Twilight or Fifty Shades. Seattle for me is the home of Starbucks and Frazier.
I didn't know Seattle had anything to do with any of that lol all I knew was Seahawks, Supersonics and of course the music side, Jimi, Nirvana, Mother Love Bone, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Mudhoney, etc. I honestly don't even think I've been in a Starbucks lol I'd be lost on what to buy.
with grunge ... all the way
as a seatalite totally agree glad you took people out side of downtown
I’m going to Seattle In May after watching your video I’m super excited now!!
I love Seattle! I was there the other weekend and usually it’s rainy but omg it was super sunny and great
that’s so cool i live in seattle but i honestly haven’t been to half of these places!! i will definitely be visiting these destinations this summer!! thanks Monica!
When I think of Seattle, I always think about Harry and the Hendersons (1987) since it does take place in Seattle. I should know, it's the only Movie to make me tear up. Now that I watched this video, I definitely want to visit. Yes, I live in Texas and that's the Reunion Tower in Dallas. Thanks for Sharing this Video
Seattle to me is Seahawks and Starbucks lol. Side note: your hair is GORGEOUS in this video! Love you Monica!
Good list and you’re an excellent presenter. Thanks!
Who else lives in Seattle?
Ezzybola Is my Instagram meeee

Me! :) Enjoying life here
me
At Ezzybola N - We do(East Seattle). We don’t care for downtown Seattle. So we avoid it as much as possible. We mainly do fun outdoor activities: Rattlesnake ledge(hiking trails), Poo Poo Point(3 miles hiking trails) where you can see para gliders from the top of Poo Poo Point. In the summertime we pick fresh organic blueberries at Bybees U-Pick Blueberries in North Bend. Free parking. Very relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views of Mt Si. And the blueberries costs $2.25 per pound. They are open 7 days a week, but I recommend calling prior to leaving for their hours. While near Bybees U-Pick blueberries stop by Snoqualmie river. You will see a bridge over the river. While on the bridge there is a trail walk. Great pictures opportunities, especially in the Fall! We also like Mt Rainer but it’s a good one-two days visit. Definitely a lot of trail walks and breathtaking views of Mt Rainier. We also like going to the beaches and different islands.
I’m from Vancouver, Canada. I really miss going to Seattle ! I used to go there every spring and summer before restrictions.. I love it. Looks like home but has a different feel. Cant wait to come again. ❤️
I’m 14 and I’ve lived in Washington Seattle side my whole life and I’ve never been to the gum wall 😂
It's okay I've lived in Arizona for most my life and I've never seen the Grand Canyon lol
You make me sick
I went to the gum wall with my mom 5 years ago in the summer time before my sister's wedding at the Seattle waterfront Marriott hotel August 27th 2016
It’s all right I live in Florida my whole life and never been to Disney World 😭💗

As a Seattle local I would also recommend taking a ferry ride to Bainbridge or Whidbey island for the day. In the summer there’s also a ton of beautiful hikes right out of Seattle. If youre looking to shop make sure to also take a trip to the university village.
brb while I buy a ticket to Seattle
Don't come until next spring. Unless you like cold rainy weather. lol
Berklee Ryann if you live where i live Seattle would be 3 hours away
Berklee Ryann I live in seattle lol

Berklee Ryann lol
I love your vlogs…besides the fact that you are an excellent vlogger, narrator and love your voice (similar to your sister of course), it keeps me in tune with the younger generation now that I am retired (and loving it), the clothes, makeup, bit of travelling without leaving my couch (have done lots of travelling but not seen Seattle). All good stuff. Keep up the hard work.
I've been watching you for so longgg, love you
I lived in Seattle for 2 months and it reminded me so much of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Loved your video! 💖 My husband and I want to visit Seattle soon and definitely will do everything you recommended ☺️
This girl is Seattle Native and you did a great job!! Don't forget Seattle underground.... believe it or not....I haven't been but my daughter has. Cheers!
When I think of Seattle, I instantly think of my fav movie 10 Things I Hate about You!
I’m not even planning to go to Seattle but this was really interesting to watch
You better get over here.
Amanda Conover you should come visit, Seattle is a lot of fun
Really beautiful shots! Thank you for making this!
Thank you so much. My honey and I will be in Seattle end of June and we are so excited to visit the city. Your video just made my planning so much easier and I’m gonna plan some cool things based on what I learned from you. Thank you and God Bless. V&L
Go to the chihuly garden and glass museum under the space needle! My husband and I went for our anniversary and it was one of the coolest things we have ever seen. Going up the space needle is honestly a bit boring.
Kaylah Evans I got us tickets for space needle on 4th of July just cause I want her to experience it. I’m excited about all those other things. Thanks for the tip we will definitely check it out. 🙏🏼
This makes me miss Seattle so much!! Can't wait to move back!!!
I've always found Westlake to be a little lacking in terms of what I want in a mall. I prefer southcenter Mall in Tukwila just south of Seattle. But I'm biased since I've lived there my whole life. Also, this is a seattle video. Keep up the good work
Headed there in April 2019. Was last there in 1986-87.
Seattle was much better then. Much more affordable, and there weren't homeless encampments blanketing the city.
WHY ARE YOU SO PRETTY!!!
Thank you for this ! 😀
I live in Seattle to ahhhh I wanna meet youuu😍😍😍
mee tooooo!!!!!!!!
Curlyhead Neah SAME!!!
Neah & Jay Vlogs sameee
Neah & Jay Vlogs samme

I lives down by Columbia City, in Seattle
I live on Alki beach and I really recommend coming to Alki beach it’s such a great place. it has a great view and it’s kinda old fashion because there are restaurants that have been there for over 50 years. It also has some great neighborhood!
When I think of Seattle, I think of Monica church!! Haha
chkymnky1983 sameeeee😂
You SHOULD think about Amtrak and BNSF.
I live in tacoma and plan on moving to Seattle when I grow up, rn my parents are actually planing a 5 day vacation to Seattle with me! Now i can tell my parents what to do when we go there
You said "don't make Pike plural", should be "don't make Pike possessive". Minor point but... you spent a lotta time on it. :-)
JakeageWalsh I don't know who you are but I love you!
True, but the comma goes INSIDE the quotation marks. Same with the period. So, you should have said, "don't make Pike plural," not "don't make PIke plural", okay? Also, you should have said, "don't make Pike possessive." Thanks for the English lesson!
Thanks for this. Going to Seattle for the first time in 2 weeks.
You can tell from this video how the wildfires last year really smogged it up. Usually the air is so much cleaner! Great video tho
I've lived in either Seattle or Minneapolis my entire life. Both are great, and both have lots to do ......
I think of greys anatomy when I think of Seattle
