Ive moved so many times and I've got to say that staying in Seattle has definitely been one of the best decisions of my life. The fact that you can go hiking, snowboarding or find a beach by driving a couple hours in either direction is honestly one of the best perks of living in Washington
I lived in Seattle for nearly five years before I had to come back home (Socal) due to health issues. I miss riding mopeds in Ballard. I love Seattle forever.
(THIS IS LONGER THAN I EXPECTED SORRY!) hey, I am local from Seattle! She definitely gave some amazing suggestions for first-time visitors, but I have a couple suggestions I'd like to add!!! I am kind of sad she didn't mention Chinatown and West Seattle/Alki Beach!! Our Chinatown, right next to downtown, is pretty crappy compared to most cities but the food is incredible and you can find some really cool shops around there too! Also, there's a pinball museum, an Asian museum, and a place where you can tour a fortune cookie factory where you can get some fresh cookies afterward. These places are pretty awesome if you're looking for something to do during the day. West Seattle is also a really laid back place, a good place if you're looking for a brunch/lunch spot. Alki beach is like a smaller version of golden gardens and has the BEST sunset views during the summer. I do not recommend driving here as parking is limited and you'll most likely end up walking far unless you spend the entire day there. It also has this ice cream shop/burger place (Pepperdock) that is really popular with everyone. There are also some other good restaurants and I believe a pretty small, yet popular bar, in the summertime. Also a great place to get a good walk in and get an amazing view of downtown and the space needle. I also suggest that if you're staying in Seattle for more than a couple of days, venture off into beacon hill and Georgetown! These two neighborhoods have some awesome bars and breakfast spots. Everything will definitely be a hole in the wall type place, but there are some gems!!! Seattle is such a big city so don't be afraid to check out other parts besides the north end!
If anyone wants to do all the “tourist things” in Seattle, I highly recommend getting a City Pass. You get a discount and there are fab things to do! Also the Boeing Museum of flight isn’t too far, you can hop a train to head towards SeaTac and check that out too.
Seattlite here!! Well I live in the suburbs but I do love it here, even in the winter. The scenery is amazing. I would also recommend wine tasting in Woodinville. We have amazing red wines, close second to California wines.
Her skin is hideous, change the video resolution to 1080 or higher and you'll see she's wearing ten pounds of foundation just to try and cover up her acne and pockmarked covered skin. Her skin isn't "flawless", its fucking FLAWED!!!
Great video! I’m a born and raised Seattleite and you did a great job. I would add a stop at Dick’s drive-in for cheap and tasty burgers, fries and shakes! The Dick’s deluxe is a must have. The one on Broadway is great and the one in the U-district has great people watching 😊 The arboretum is a great place for a picnic in the summer too!
I love Capitol Cider! I took my friend there when we visited Seattle. We went to Tavern Law after. A little more fancy but still a good vibe. My family lives out there and I always get so pumped to visit. My mom took me to La Push, Sol Duc, and Snoqualmie last time. I’m in love.
I lived in Puyallup (about 30-40ish miles south of Seattle) for 6 months in 2014, from May-December, and I left a piece of my heart there! Like, one day I will move back. The PNW is the most beautiful place ever to me, and this video just made my heart ache to get back!! We went into Seattle for my birthday weekend the end of October, went to this place called The Triple Door. They did Nightmare Before Christmas play thing, it was really awesome!
I went to Seattle in 2016 and loved it! We were there for 3 full days during the summer. It wasn't too hot, coming from some one who's born and raised in LA.. We got an Airbnb, for about $75 a night. We stayed in Wallingford. We also rented a car because we wanted to go all around Seattle and lakes/ waterfalls and also drive to Canada. We would park in middle of Seattle and walk everywhere. I'd recommend downloading trip advisor and save all the stuff you wanna do then look at the map and divide parts of the city by different days. For example, day 1 do downtown and day 2 capital Hill. For night life we ubered. I'd recommend getting the City Pass if you're going to be doing downtown museums and attractions. I definitely agree with Taylor, what I loved about Seattle is that you have the downtown hipster life but there is also so much lakes and greens, it's breathtaking. The coffee shops are so great too! 🤗
Ella Bailey Park in Magnolia has the best view in the city. 100%. Kerry Park is where everyone takes their homecoming pictures, and Ella Bailey is a bit of a hidden gem and no one is ever there. Also UW red square has a great view. the best food in seattle is Memos in U District. There's also one in Everett, and two in the Tacoma area. 5 Point is a bar and its 24 hours and its mad lit, and Beth's cafe is greasy as fuck and is a dive restaurant but it's super fun. aLso get outside of the city for a bit. Lake 22 in granite falls is beautiful, eagle falls out near skykomish is also super nice, and rattlesnake ridge in north bend/issaquah is a great hike. Mukilteo is really cute and you can take a ferry to Whidbey and Friday Harbor which has the second best ice cream in the state (the first being full tilt. best location is columbia city. don't go to molly moons. its expensive as hell and not worth it, but if you go to hello robin get the ice cream sandwich). Up in Stanwood, you can also go to Fort Casey or drive through deception pass and go to oak harbor, which has a drive in movie theater.
Ella Bailey is beautiful! Love that park. I feel like as a tourist though magnolia might be a little out of the way to get to, and we gotta keep some spots for seattleites 😉🖤
Daytrips to Vashon were always fun when I lived in Seattle, as well aswalking the public dock in Edmonds! Late spring and early summer at the Ballard Locks and experimental gardens were great too! I grew up in Kingston with my dad working on the ferries so taking the ferry ride home from Seattle to Bainbridge was always beautiful at sunset after a Mariner loss....
Thanks for the video guide! Hopefully we can go to Seattle soon to see everything! Also I would like to say #baerritofam appreciates you so much. I saw your snaps over the weekend and I know I'm not the only one who believes this but the work that you put in to putting 3 amazing and thorough (aka not shitty quality) videos is more than we could ever ask for. We would be sad to see only two (or even less) videos up a week but we know that it's from a good place. Baerittos will support you no matter what because we know that your health and family should be the most important Love a fellow baerrito
I’ve lived 30 min north of Seattle my whole life. My husband just got job downtown and we’re really excited to explore and be in Seattle more. Thanks for the video
Bob Bob Thanks! He takes the swift bus. Before this job he drove a delivery truck all over Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia and Oregon. So now bussing it is a nice change for him.
I've lived here for the past 3 plus years and love it. I'm also impressed by all of the food places that pay attention to food allergies. Flying Apron made me cry when I realized it existed and had donuts that I could safely eat and that are delicious. After living in Tampa - a hellmouth - for 3 years, this place is an answer to my prayers.
The most fun I've had in Seattle was out of downtown. We went to this amazing concert in a back alley, went to one of those dinner and movie places, had Ethiopian food. Seattle is amazing, all you havta do is start walking and you'll find something awesome.
I live on the east coast and had the pleasure of visiting Seattle 2 yrs ago and LOVED it! I always miss the east coast when I travel, but Seattle was a place that I could really see myself living in. Washington is such a BEAUTIFUL state overall. The people were really awesome as well! However, Taylor is so RIGHT when she says the traffic is horrible! Some of the worst I've experienced in the country.
I think Seattle IS a foodie city, more than a happy hour city. I check Eater Seattle for their heatmap, hot new places and top restaurants. 8oz Burger has an awesome happy hour!
I've been watching youtube videos to help prepare for my trip to seattle in a couple of months. I found this video to be the MOST helpful! Most of the other videos mention the same tourist attractions. In this video, she really gives you great places to explore and eat!
I was born and raised in Seattle and the surrounding towns. And girl, if you have not been to de Moines, go to de Moines. It’s very movie set of a small town vibe. There’s a ton of little cafes and good restaurants, and marinas attaches to beautiful parks with food trucks sometimes.
I've been living in the Seattle area for 16 years now and I haven't gone to or done most of these things. Thank you so much for this video! Now I have a list of places to visit :)
Thank you for your video. It has so many gems in it. You touch on the places most people will tell you about and told us about some places you really don’t hear about. That is awesome! I’m going to Seattle in a few months. I can’t wait to check out these cool places. Have a fantastic day.
If you go to Golden Gardens, Ray's Boathouse is a must. Go for a sunset. If you are lucky and the weather is clear, the sunset will bring tears to your eyes.
the edgewater is absolutely amazing. and this whole video makes me wanna move there (my husband was raised north of seattle, and if it wasn't so expensive, we'd live there now)
Thank you for doing this! I’ve been in Seattle for two years and have a running list I try to forward to friends who are visiting, but now I can forward this video! If you haven’t been, I highly recommend The Bottle House (most adorable patio in the summer) and The Harvest Vine in Madrona, Tavolata in Belltown, Bizarro Cafe in Wallingford and Tallulah’s for brunch!
@@charlesscott27 it probably has to do with the weather. We're really only out in abundance two to three months out of the year. A lot of the year were cuddled up inside due to the weather it doesn't allow us a lot of time to be out and about making new friends being friendly to other people. I just went to Lake Tahoe for the first time I couldn't believe how friendly everybody was I was shocked and then I realized holy crap the Seattle freeze is real! Nobody is this nice in Seattle nobody LOL! I'm not sure what causes it but we are all just in our own little world worried about ourselves. It might be due to the fact that we spend such a large amount of time cuddled up in our houses during the cold and rainy seasons that were not used to constantly making conversation with strangers or striking up meet friendships
I've lived in Florida my whole life but after traveling to the Seattle area multiple times now I'm seriously considering moving there some time in the future, I love it so much!
i went to seattle with my mom last may and i loved it we stayed at the edgewater which was beautiful and had an amazing view . the weather wasnt quite what i expected i thought/hoped it would be rainy but it was just overcast and cold until the sun came out then it was imediately hot
My children are with their dad for the first time since we separated; I’ve been saving up your videos so I can binge them to keep myself distracted. Taylor, you’re a part of my family; this is part of my self-care. Thanks for being there for me. #Baeritto #ForLife 🖤 🌯
The Pie Bar is super excellent too! And if you can see something at The Triple Door, or The Moisture Festival, really cool too! Pike Place always has burlesque as well. Super cool shows. :)
I immediately came and watched this video after you mentioned it in you're answering questions from the bathtub video LOL. I've been watching you for years and I don't know how I missed this video. My husband and I have been talking about planning a vacation to cover parts of the West Coast and I really really really want to go to Seattle. I will be watching the video several times and taking notes and I can't wait for your part 2!
Andrea Fairchild if you feel like completely getting out of the city, go to crystal mountain and take the gondola up to the top. Trust me, you won’t regret it. There’s a little restaurant up there and a stunning view of Mt. Rainier. Plus the little town you drive through to get up there (it’s called Enumclaw) has some really cute little shops and amazing food as well.
I went to college in Seattle (University of Washington) and a few places I would add for views -- Ballard Locks (beautiful gardens around an intricate locks system - great place to take a picnic) and U of Washington campus. From Red Square the view down Drumheller Fountain towards Mt Rainer one a clear day is breathtaking. Another is Green Lake in north Seattle. You can walk around the lake and the surrounding neighborhood is fantastic. For great ethnic food, the Ave next to UW is great for getting good Indian, Japanese, Korean, etc. And awesome independent coffee shops. UW bookstore is probably the best one in Seattle too. My favorite neighborhoods were Ballard/Fremont for sure. Oh! and the Olympic Sculpture Garden - which you can walk to from Pikes Place is a really neat walk along the water on a clear day. This video is making me crazy homesick 😁
Salty’s on Alki is an amazing spot for a fancy dinner! It’s right on a pier across from downtown Seattle so you get a great view of the city, the walls are all huge windows, and the food is delicious. Very “chef-y” creative dishes, not just your normal fish and chips. And the drinks are bomb. It’s expensive so it’s definitely a fancy date night type of place but totally worth it in my opinion.
So so happy you made this video! I've actually been a subscriber for a few years now, but I moved to Ballard like 5 months ago. Every thing you said was soooo spot on! I uber pool to work downtown every morning and its usually between 2-4 dollars. Such a good deal in my opinion. I work right next to pike place but never go because I can't handle the crowd. Totally agree that the best places are outside of downtown. Biscuit & Bean in Ballard is good too for breakfast and coffee and C&J's eatery in Belltown has amazing brunch. I love Seattle
Omg I LOVE Seattle!! I visited several times and was planning on moving from Chicago with my son several years ago. I am a nurse and even got my license to practice there... then life took a curve ball and I never made it, but I swear someday that will be my home. It’s my happy place!
Going to Seattle next week for my 18th birthday. I've been a few times before and I absolutely adore it. I've never felt so at home in a state that's not my home state. I definitely plan on living there at some point in my life. I'm so glad you mentioned Capitol Cider... every time I'm in town that's where I eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. SO. GOOD! I seriously cannot express how much I love Seattle.
Thanks for this video! I'm always looking for new places to go and just be able to walk and see things. I'm not a club/bar person and prefer to walk around, take in the sights, smells and just feeling of a place. I love food, coffee and trying new places. I'm so putting Seattle on my list!!
Vancouver (Canada) gal here, and I can say with a fair amount of confidence that it's totally ok to carry an umbrella anywhere in the PNW. I go to Seattle quite a lot (including this weekend, yay!), and I agree -- stay away from downtown. My favorite coffee shop is Chocolati in Wallingford, and an awesome veggie Thai place, also in Wallingford, is Jhanjay. So good. Green Lake is beautiful. Lots of fun things to do and places to see.
My dad for his old job would go to Seattle for meetings a lot and he thought it was really cool. I've never been to Seattle and after watching your video, I would love to visit for a week or two. It seems so beautiful and adventurous. Maybe my boyfriend and I will go there for our two year anniversary or something like that. Great video Tay! Full of good information and I love your content. The way you conversate is so inspiring and I learn how to communicate better because of you
Columbia Tower has a Starbucks on the 40th floor. So obvi not as high as the observation floor, but you can pop in there for a free view (or hang out--I love reading/working at that Starbucks during the day).
As someone born and raised in Olympia Washington (about 40 minutes south of Seattle for any non Washingtonians) THANK YOU!! I have always avoided Seattle a lot in my life just because I always assumed pike place and the space needle was about it. I knew there had to be amazing food spots but honestly it has always been the driving that has turned me off from going up there more often. Yes the parking is a nightmare but also the steep ass hills are scarier in my opinon! As a stick shift driver I am intimidated by driving around downtown so I will definitely have to check out more of the surrounding neighborhoods and less touristy parts. Yes I still consider myself a tourist in Seattle 😂😂😂 great video Taylor!!
You listed all my must-sees, and I totally agree about getting out of downtown. I absolutely love Gasworks in the summer, it's where I always take visitors. I still haven't had poke and I have wanted to try it so I'll have to check out 45th. I still haven't taken the ferry to Banbridge, I'll add that to my list as well. The Ballard Farmer's market is my favorite thing to do on Sundays, we go pretty often. My brunch go to is also Portage Bay and List is SO good for happy hour and happy hour is all day Sunday. I love Blackbottle as well, but usually go to the Bellevue location. Their fig and agrula salad with fresh burratta is phenomonal. I wanna go to Canlis one day, two other nice meals, but not quite as expensive are Art of the Table (best food I've had in Seattle) and Spinasse. Maybe we can meet up for beer at Freemont brewing one day! Thanks for taking the time to put this video together, I'll definatly share it when I get asked what to see in Seattle.
Watching this totally made me tear up. I moved away from Snohomish County (again) a year ago, but I grew up in the Seattle area. Good advice. I LOVE the Sunday Ballard Farmers Market!!!
great video! I'm going on vacation to see my brother these spots will surely be on my list while he's working & I'm exploring what Seattle has to offer.
Love this! The editing is beautiful! 💜 I also saw your stress venting on snapchat the other night and I just wanted to say, (As a regular viewer and I can honestly say you are 100% my favorite youtuber.) But anyway, please do just what you can. If you can't physically get something done dont beat yourself up. Your viewers know how much you work your ass off and we appreciate every upload and I believe we all will completely understand if you cant get a video(s) done. Don't stress lovely! You always work your ass off eith everything you do with your channel. And it is very appreciated! Hang in there lovely! Im pretty sure you have a very loving and understing audience 💜
My wife and I spent 10 days in Seattle 7/4/13 for our 20th anniversary. NO RAIN at all. We loved it here! My wife cried on the plane home (Wis.). One suggestion, how about showing us around as you as you do a voice-over narrative? That way we can see more without the talking head syndrome. As first timers using only local buses, ferries, trains, walking (LOTS!), light rail etc. we covered a lot! Pike Place and that whole area (Seattle Central Library- world class by Rem Koolhaas), West Seattle, Bainbridge Island, Billingham via Amtrak Cascades train along Puget Sound, Fremont (coffee!), chowder!, Washington State U. campus, NOT the "gum wall", lots of interesting shops, sidewalk cafe's, Chilhuly glass, Olympic Sculpture Park, Dr. Martens store (pilgrimage), and we realize we only scratched the surface! Thanks Seattle!
I used to live in Washington and I miss it soooo sooo much! It has my heart. I’m a landscape photographer and was just in heaven there.☺️. Our favorite places were Leavenworth, Whidbey Island, Panther Creek Falls, and the Olympic Peninsula.
This is so great. I am born and raised near Seattle and I think you really hit on the best things to do. I love that you suggested getting out of downtown and the Columbia Tower, the views are just amazing. The only thing I think you missed was Dicks! You always stop for a cheap burger at the end of the night. If you like the more soggy fresh fries you will love the fries at Dicks.
Capitol Hill is my absolute favorite area of Seattle! Best coffee shop, best quirky bar, and best low key pizza. I was there from January to March a few years ago --- weather was awesome. We got snow! but the weather was my favorite weather ever.
If you're a fan of ferries, you should really head to Port Angeles's Hurricane Ridge & Lake Crescent out a little further. Seriously gorgeous & mind-blowing places that are musts if you can swing it. Will need a car for both places, but the trails and sights are insane. There's even a rain forest if you feel like driving west on the OP!
Seattle has awesome public transportation! I'm originally from Seattle and take public transportation whenever I visit. Light rail goes from airport to U District. Rapid Ride gets you across town fast.
I'm from the PNW and second your recommendations. While I wholeheartedly agree with your suggestion of not renting a car, if anyone has extra days to spend in Seattle, getting out to the islands is always fun & beautiful. Whidbey is a fun day trip -- driving out to Deception Pass is so worth it. Also, driving out to Snoqualmie to see the falls as featured in Twin Peaks is another fun day trip. Seattle is still a great city for music. Going to the Tractor or the Sunset Tavern in Ballard are great music venues. Barboza in Capitol Hill is fun as well. During the summer months, the local station, KEXP, hosts free outside concerts in the park. There are music festivals that also take place at various times of the year in the city such as Capitol Hill Block Party, Bumbershoot and Upstream.
Loved this video! I lived in Seattle for 13 years and your video gave me so much nostalgia. A cool history/touristy thing to do is the Underground Tour!
What would you recommend for a budget if you stay there for a week or so? Kind of wish budget tips were included in this so we can get an idea of how it compares to other cities. Xx
It depends on where you're from and what your budget limits are. Average meals are going to run you about $15 ea, Uber rides within the city aren't too bad during the day, but at night prices rise - you'd want to set aside $30+ for a night for that. If you go to the bar, expect to pay $10/drink. If you intend to stay in a hotel within or around the city, expect to pay over $100/night for a decent spot. (Born & raised Washingtonian over here)
I sometimes think it would be great to have an Air BNB and stock it with guides , maps and history books, and drive people around all day to see everything safely and efficiently. When my relatives visit, we figure out their preferences and tailor the schedule- city stuff, country stuff, short or long hike, restaurant or picnic, museum or neighborhood overview, ferry, etc. I have extra daypacks and outerwear for visitors.
I lived in WA for most of my life, mostly right by Mt Rainier Ntl Park. I didn't go to Seattle that often but I LOVE all the museums, especially the Experience Music Project
I think this video just goes to show how important your subscribers are to you. You can tell you worked really hard on this video and did your research, very informative. And super awesome of you to do 💜
I'm a western WA native and spent a few years as a local travel agent. This was a really great video for people wanting to visit Seattle!
Thanks so much!!
Taylor deserves a bomb ass relationship she is so sweet and down to earth
duhbas415 , why is she so single all these years?
Define bomb ass relationship.

Also A+ job on the editing of this video. You’re incredible, and the effort you put into your work shows
Is it true what they say about girls who dye their hair extraordinary colors?
i’m born & raised in the seattle area & im still watching 😂
Me toooooo
Sav Zak haha me too !!
Same
Me too!!!
Sav Zak me too!!!
I lived in Seattle for nearly five years before I had to come back home (Socal) due to health issues. I miss riding mopeds in Ballard. I love Seattle forever.
From a lifelong local--- Thank you for encouraging people to get out of downtown! Fall is absolutely the most beautiful and eventful time to be here.
(THIS IS LONGER THAN I EXPECTED SORRY!) hey, I am local from Seattle! She definitely gave some amazing suggestions for first-time visitors, but I have a couple suggestions I'd like to add!!! just mentioning that i loved this video!!! just wanted to add a couple of things to your list!!!
Ghost tours around Seattle are fun, so is the underground tour!
I did that, it was funny
If anyone wants to do all the “tourist things” in Seattle, I highly recommend getting a City Pass. You get a discount and there are fab things to do! Also the Boeing Museum of flight isn’t too far, you can hop a train to head towards SeaTac and check that out too.
Angela Cameron Museum of Flight is one of my favorite museums!
Seattlite here!! Well I live in the suburbs but I do love it here, even in the winter. The scenery is amazing. I would also recommend wine tasting in Woodinville. We have amazing red wines, close second to California wines.
Marnie Griffith I second this! Woodinville is adorable with some amazing wines!
I just sent this to my daughter Taylor, who is 23 and had been living in Tacoma with her boyfriend for the last year. She's will love this stuff.
okay i realize this video is about seattle but DAMN GIRL your skin is incredible. the texture has changed so so much and i'm so happy for you!!!
Rina Kay Do you have any idea what foundation she's wearing...did I miss it somewhere? Because, I agree...flawless!!
Rina Kay seriously her skin is glowing 😍😍😍
Her skin is hideous, change the video resolution to 1080 or higher and you'll see she's wearing ten pounds of foundation just to try and cover up her acne and pockmarked covered skin.
Her skin isn't "flawless", its fucking FLAWED!!!
Born and raised all my life in Seattle( I’m 38) and I’m learning so many new things about Seattle I haven’t seen😂 Thanks so much for this video!!
I love the arboretum! Actually one of the first places I ever visited when I first moved here. Agreed, in the summer it's perfection. 👌🏻
Angel Parker Dick's is a must!
I love Dicks burgers so much!! Their milkshakes are 👌🏻
Agreed 👍🏾
I love Capitol Cider! I took my friend there when we visited Seattle. We went to Tavern Law after. A little more fancy but still a good vibe. My family lives out there and I always get so pumped to visit. My mom took me to La Push, Sol Duc, and Snoqualmie last time. I’m in love.
I absolutely loved this video!!!! This style of travel video suites your personality so well 😊
Seattleite here too! Been here my whole life! Forgot The Troll under the Fremont Bridge! Other than that 🤷♀️👏 Bravo!
OH and even though it’s not that great- but DICKS!
Agreed! Also Ballard Locks!
I lived in Puyallup (about 30-40ish miles south of Seattle) for 6 months in 2014, from May-December, and I left a piece of my heart there! Like, one day I will move back. The PNW is the most beautiful place ever to me, and this video just made my heart ache to get back!!

I also live in Puyallup! Small world!
I was born in Seattle, but Puyallup has been home most of my life! Love it here!
I live in Puyallup 😀
Devon Morton yes it is! I'm in South GA now, where i was born and raised. I worked as a travel nurse in Puyallup, at Good Sam
elizabeth_sha_ cool👍
So excited for this video! You seem extremely proud of this content and I can tell I’m going to love this one ❤️
Hannah O. it’s so true that kerry park is where everyone takes their homecoming pictures 😂
Ella Bailey is beautiful! Love that park. I feel like as a tourist though magnolia might be a little out of the way to get to, and we gotta keep some spots for seattleites 😉🖤
Omg memos is amazing. Best breakfast burritos ever. I also love Beth’s. It was always great at 2 am 😂
Mmmmm Beth's, you cannot visit without going to Beth's!
I was so overwhelmed coming to Seattle - i had nothing planned! I watched this video on the flight in and I'm now SO excited! Thank you!
Baerittos will support you no matter what because we know that your health and family should be the most important
Love a fellow baerrito
Thank you so much, appreciate it. We'll see what I can do! 🖤
I’ve lived 30 min north of Seattle my whole life. My husband just got job downtown and we’re really excited to explore and be in Seattle more. Thanks for the video
Dat commute tho. The traffic makes me wanna die lol. Good luck to your husband.
Bob Bob Thanks! He takes the swift bus. Before this job he drove a delivery truck all over Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia and Oregon. So now bussing it is a nice change for him.
I live about an hour away myself!
Bellingham WA
I've lived here for the past 3 plus years and love it. I'm also impressed by all of the food places that pay attention to food allergies. Flying Apron made me cry when I realized it existed and had donuts that I could safely eat and that are delicious. After living in Tampa - a hellmouth - for 3 years, this place is an answer to my prayers.
Amanda Paterson just around the corner from Flying Apron is ETG Coffee. They have gluten free scones every day-- more delicious than flying apron!!!!
What kind of food allergies? I have a nephew who is anaphylactic to milk products and tree nuts.
I am allergic to cow dairy, Soy and gluten with sensitivities to Nitrates and sulfides.
Thanks Laura! I will have to give them a try.
Oo I'll check it out! Maybe I just haven't found the best places yet! Feel free to leave your recs :)
I can’t stop looking at your eye makeup. It’s so simple but stunning!
I've been living in the Seattle area for 16 years now and I haven't gone to or done most of these things. Thank you so much for this video! Now I have a list of places to visit :)
I’ve been waiting so long for this vid! I’ll be in Seattle next month!🖤
I think this is the best travel guide video I’ve seen of Seattle… and I’ve seen a lot lately.
Great work! And thank you for all the recommendations!
Thank you for your video. It has so many gems in it. You touch on the places most people will tell you about and told us about some places you really don’t hear about. That is awesome! I’m going to Seattle in a few months. I can’t wait to check out these cool places. Have a fantastic day.
I’m from Australia and we went to Seattle for our honeymoon. We LOVED it. We could easily move there. Absolutely beautiful!
I love being a Washingtonian 🌧☔️💙💚🌲🌿
Heather Wilson me too!
I’ve been obsessed with moving to Seattle for 9 years and now my dreams are coming true.
If you go to Golden Gardens, Ray's Boathouse is a must. Go for a sunset. If you are lucky and the weather is clear, the sunset will bring tears to your eyes.
Outside of the cold weather Seattle is AWESOME !!
Sharing this with my husband now! He’s always wanted to go to Seattle Bc a lot of his favorite authors write there
check the library schedules because they do free Author sit downs with popular Seattle Authors
ILOVE THESE VLOGS OF YOUR TRAVEL. It's like I get to live vicariously through your videos! So keep them coming
the edgewater is absolutely amazing. and this whole video makes me wanna move there (my husband was raised north of seattle, and if it wasn't so expensive, we'd live there now)
Thank you for doing this!
Lived here my whole life and we have endless supply of cool little spots all over the city. It's crazy all the cool places we have.
Views/places to see - Under The Streets tour, literally the coolest thing I ever experienced in Seattle.
YES!!! I’m going to Seattle for my first time in March and was hoping you’d make this video!!!
I will be watching the video several times and taking notes and I can't wait for your part 2!
i’m planning on moving to seattle at the end of 2018/early 2019 so this video made me even more excited i cant wait
My husband and I are actually in the talks of coming to Seattle with our kiddos. Super excited to go now.
yay! I'm going to Seattle in August, this video was so helpful!💕💕
Frankie G thanks! That sounds fun! I’ll definitely look into it :)
Let me know if you have any questions or want any good hiking places in Seattle! I live here and can give you some good tips!
Be aware... Most places do not have AC in Seattle and August is the hottest month
My Daughter and I flew to Seattle last August. It"s friggen NICE! It gets pretty hot though and stays hot until the sun goes down at like 10:00pm
Heading to Seattle for the first time this summer, this is perfect video for me.
Yay!!!! I’m so appreciative of your diverse and quality content.
Thanks Jessica! appreciate you always watching and commenting! :)
Don't forget Snoqualmie Falls! That's a must every time we go to Seattle.
Seattle was one of my favorite places to visit when I was a kid, I want to see it now that I'm an adult, I bet it would be so much better
Thanks for this video! I'm always looking for new places to go and just be able to walk and see things. I'm not a club/bar person and prefer to walk around, take in the sights, smells and just feeling of a place. I love food, coffee and trying new places. I'm so putting Seattle on my list!!
I'm literally in the middle of planning a trip to seattle and just was looking for things to do...wild timing
The way you conversate is so inspiring and I learn how to communicate better because of you
My boyfriend and I were just talking about traveling to Seattle this summer.. perfect timing!
I live in Seattle myself, and your Nightlife recommendations are really helpful as I just turned 21 recently! Thank youuu
Ok I vote for this intro to be the intro to every video!! So beautiful and definitely encompasses your channel
great video! I'm going on vacation to see my brother these spots will surely be on my list while he's working & I'm exploring what Seattle has to offer.
I live less than an hour away from Seattle and there's stuff on here I haven't done, that I'm definitely going to have to do :)
Love this! The editing is beautiful! 💜 I also saw your stress venting on snapchat the other night and I just wanted to say,
(As a regular viewer and I can honestly say you are 100% my favorite youtuber.) But anyway, please do just what you can.
Thanks so much sarah. 🖤
Summers are amazing here. I can't imagine living anywhere else.
Also, you’re makeup is KILLING IT in this intro!! Gorgeous!!
I used to live in Washington and I miss it soooo sooo much! It has my heart. I’m a landscape photographer and was just in heaven there.☺️. Our favorite places were Leavenworth, Whidbey Island, Panther Creek Falls, and the Olympic Peninsula.
I’d love to see a video for people who are considering moving to Seattle and a video about travel advice/how you travel so much!
This was so good!!! Both videos about Seattle were awesome!
Bike shares are amazing! Such a cost effective and fun way to see Seattle. I love that I can call it home.
Definitely squirreling this away for when boyfriend and I make our great West Coast trip!!
Loved this video! I lived in Seattle for 13 years and your video gave me so much nostalgia. A cool history/touristy thing to do is the Underground Tour!
Your channel is my fav! The only one I watch every time something is posted!
Thank you for all the advice! Seattle is like a weekend getaway for us.
What would you recommend for a budget if you stay there for a week or so? Kind of wish budget tips were included in this so we can get an idea of how it compares to other cities. Xx
I've heard there's a good hostel in Fremont! Hotels are pretty pricey so Hostel is probably the way to go for cheapest, or Airbnb like I mentioned!
