hey, how to achieve a bento grid that has a common bg picture which when on hovering through the boxes will change on a whole while the box expands or interacts in a similar way, please help

Quick question, I noticed the mouse effects and the hover effects don't work with touchscreen devices, how do you approach these type of scenarios?
(I'm trying to get an image normal, and a text on hover, but since there is no hover on mobile i am searching for an alternative solution).
