I’ve seen Perry’s portfolio a couple of times before. That one certainly stands out from the rest. Straightforward of what he does, and is easy to remember the design style of the website. Dark, but clearly contrastable. The takeaway is to showcase the projects you love to work on and the type of company you want to work for, whether that’s at a big, medium, or small-sized company. Or even, a creative agency.
Those Apple designers always have mind-blowing websites. There must be something in the water at Cupertino because these people are all on the next level, and it shows.
@@AndresTheDesigner It might be just me, but I really dislike the first page from Yilmaz. I get that he tried to create an Apple-feel.. but it just seems so unfinished..
@@eineatombombe i thought that something under such a title would have original UI ideas, when its actually just the same idea everyone has sinvce 2020
Question: If I want to do concept/ case studies and add it to my portfolio, can I use other brand logos? Example: I want to design animation and a poster for a TV Show for kids, would it be okay to use the Netflix logo on the posters?
Great video! 🚀 Could you please tell me which plugin or software you're using for that smooth mouse cursor effect? I've noticed it in several videos. Thanks!
Damn, dude. That Framer ad hit like Hinode people smoothly moonwalking their way on to knocking on your door in a time-off holiday right at the beginning of your favorite show you just prepared to watch with your girl and just laid down cuddling on the sofa with her just to stand the f*ck up again to find out who the f* knocking on the door is no michael f*cking jackson, but adorable Hinode people
The Framer generated HTML doesn't look good... Because of this the page is slower than it would be. Just use Figma and write your own html, css and js. It's not that hard.
What is wrong with you people? These are all interaction designers, of course there's not use cases, personas, case studies etc. Where's the product designers portfolios? Guys that actually know how to design products?
Reality check: Us busy, always working designers don't have the time to put into portfolios like these. It's very likely they paid someone to develop them. Also, a huge misconception is that a great portfolio = a great UX designer. No. I've interviewed plenty of people over the years who had a great portfolio but didn't have what it takes to be a valuable member of the team.

Yea, my first thought was, oooooh ✨shiny ✨ love his portfolio
how do they build these? I mean what tech are these guys using, how can I become like them
@@karthiknair1430 I just checked the source code on Perry's site, and it looks like he used Webflow to create the site.

Right!?! I love their design sense.

Thanks for your work!
Love to hear that! Best of luck Judah!
UI/UX Designers: Ahh... how beautiful, another awesome day
Front-end devs: HOW THE F*** DO I CENTER THIS DIV
😂😂😂 True
Funny thing ... I searched about that specific div centerization ... ended up putting it in a container
I wanted to like this video 3 times.
For the content, for the batman jokes and for that last Prov reference.

As long as clearly stated as concept project and you add disclaimer about the Netflix logo, it is Okay.
Wow! Your videos are amazing. Great experience.
Really appreciate it 🥲
Great video! 🚀

I wanna design like Joseph Zhang! I mean he is so good at this!
Do i need to know code in order to do something similar?

You're breathtaking ❤️
That Batman meme got me laughing alone, and my family was like, wtf 😂

how do you get the mouse click animations?
Is there any way to remake this in framer? 2:35
Only one way to find out!
indeed the portfolios are just insane they could be but can someone just tell me name of music played in start?
you are my batman!

Love this series. It’s like Netflix for designers. My favorite one was Joseph’s.
Crime is waiting for you, go get em!
Crime (choosing the perfect button color) has no place in Gotham (my desk)

Im new to this UX Design. So I don't really know where to start. Is it better to start with framer or figma? Thanks
Hmmm... Learning both is important! But I'd personally go with Framer because I love interactions - and I can experiment better with Framer.
Tracks used in this video?
Hi there! Do you know what kind of website/app can be used to build such websites?
Framer is a great option! Webflow comes 2nd for more specific use-cases though.

What's the track at 4:04? Came unexpectedly but got me vibing
Found it. It's Heyson - Gettin' Ready
I have a question what tools do they use for the animations
Probably Orgami Studio, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yes, I edit my own videos 🫡

what kind of library/framework do you think they are using?
You should use a chrome extension called, "wappalyzer" that'll tell you their tech stack

HTML, CSS, and Javascript take forever though :/ But respect your choice to build it from scratch!
