My favorite is the 5th, unique and so clean colors 👏🏻 I for my RUclips channel I created a video project with Html & css and honest I think it is still one of the best ways for this type of project. The only always great alternative would be with React and Tailwind Css, what do you think ??? 😜

I just joined your course and monthly mentorship. I've been a web designer / developer for 15 years and I've never really been 100% happy with my UI /UX skills. I'm super excited about finally overcoming that barrier.

He did say "I liked to have the entire menu expanded". He was not fooling around, his favorite was the one that was nothing but a big menu. 🤠
wow portfolio 5, "Rob", amazing stuff! Would be so good for a designer. the cool thing about developers is that they can take things beyond ideation and figure out how to actually make things responsive in an interesting way. Designers can do, but it's just more of an uphill battle for them.

Thanks to this video I tried out Robbowen's 'Synthwave Neon Glow' color theme extension in VS Code. Man, I have never enjoyed coding as much as now :D

#5 definitely. 8 is a showcase for a huge amount of skill, but those designs still feel a bit overwhelming to me
Hey, great video as usual.
However some of these design aren't responsive. If that is the case then I wouldn't rate it a 10/10.
But maybe you are only looking at the desktop layout, if that is the case ignore me and keep up the good work :)
1:31 tbh, I really like the menu, its maybe hard to click, but otherwise, it would ruin the aesthetics
Number 2 is pretty awesome under the hood. Number 3 is elementor theme with wordpress? Number 8 uses barba. Nice!

Sooo many people have stollent Brittany Chang's portfolios. Seen it reviewed as their portfolio so many times lol.. makes me sick how people do that. In her footer, you'll see her portfolio is open source. But people steal the design as their own.

I don't get why you should never have a hamburger menu in desktop 🖥️
It's not recommended for desktop as a desktop has a good amount of screen real estate, hence, one can simply use a navigation bar with all links or add a button that actually says "menu" instead of an hamburger.
Remember, the hamburger icon is used to save space, hence using it for mobile devices is a better option. The links mentioned in it, are usually the important stuff in your website and storing all of those in a hamburger takes away the importance of those links.
That's my reasoning.
I dont understand why design is important for a developper, it's just two different jobs.

Gosh these are some extremely boring and generic websites. They aren't aesthetically pleasing or conceptually. I'd guess someone coded these like 10 years ago honestly. I kinda feel a little more confident now
