We always put chamfer strip on the top step. It was on the top of the 2x4 that gives you the reveal. That way you can strip it same day without having jagged edges.

How do you like the Moritz dump trailer we love ours. It about 10 yrs old now we have 3 extension boards on it and it gets full to the top almost every day and mostly always dumps if it don’t 2 guys can push up on it while hitting the button and it’s enough to lift. Great trailers we switched all our equipment trailers over to Moritz to from tow masters.
Yes we’ve had everything from spiders, squirrels, dogs, to old ladies in their Buicks 😂 there’s not a practical way to cover it. If it’s the homeowners animal it’s completely on them

Steps and entry walk turned out well. The front porch with the cantilever will really set it off!
