Yeah, my brothers & I would do the same thing, when driving our grandparents around. We'd choose songs with melodic, instrumental openings, and get reactions like "this is so mellow & cheery," before they ERUPTED into a FIERCE, UNRELENTING FURIOUS CHAOS ... at FULLLLL Volume. The looks of terror on their faces were, actually, quite humorous, back then.
Unfortunately, however, I hadn't thought of how much more monumental it would've been blasting songs like this WHILE we were taking them on the bumper cars, like we did at Disney, etc., until right now! It was hysterical watching them react to everybody creaming their little bumper car, from all directions! But I couldn't even imagine how APOCALYPTICALLY DISASTROUS it would've seemed if THIS track or others similar to it were being BLASTED as that little car was ricocheting all over the place!
While THIS track is already LEGENDARY in my eyes, do you have ANY recommendations of ANY songs that fit this mold? Besides things off of Master of Puppets, etc.?

This is their best album imo. They're also very good live. Marcus (the vocalist) sounds pretty much the same live. I was always under the impression there were quite a few effects on his vocals to make him sound as monstrous as he does but turns out his voice is really that powerful

I know right! If they had a clue they would know that HSB isn't even an anti-christian band and Marcus has explained before that the 'Heaven' in their name refers to the bliss of ignorance.
They got their band name from a Marduk album, 'Heaven Shall Burn.... When We Are Gathered' but this is perhaps a better explanation of the way they applied the idea to their lyrics: "It's not that we're huge Marduk fans, but we liked the name. It sounds a bit provocative and so people ask us again and again for the meaning behind our name. It has been like that since the very beginning. We use the term 'heaven' as a metaphor for some kind of a fake paradise that people create in their heads. Some people close their eyes and don't see the truth surrounding them. So this kind of fake heaven should burn. Some people might think that our name is an anti-religious statement, but it isn't."
That aside, they are epic indeed! They're certainly the most relentless, unforgiving, and uncompromising melodic death metal band I've ever heard and I think they're even better than Arch Enemy, cause Marcus is a freaking BEAST!
