@@Sabre912 sorry, having some youtube comment issues, working with support at the moment. As for the headset, I am still using them now as my main headsets, I love them. You can check in the description if you like to find them on youtube, the battery is AMAZING, I feel like its lasts a month before charging and the sound is great, from the microphone as well.
Nice, like I mentioned the prices change all the time, I checked last week and they were the same price, its crazy. Maybe Corsair is coming out with a new one?
Awesome video man, should do a giveaway on one of these headsets! I’ve been using the same Steele series headset that hurts my ears for the last few years and need a new one lol. Keep these solid videos coming 👍🏼
Well, I would love to, I would have to see if HyperX will do that, but I need to tread carefully, working my way back up with this, thanks so much for your kind words and support my friend, it means the world to me.
I just got the Hyper X 2 weeks ago, I've yet to have to charge them I still have over 50% of the battery and the signal is so strong I can go all over my house and still hear perfectly. They blow away the Corsair Virtuoso Xt's I use to have. They are so damn good.
I mostly use headphones to watch movies. Does enabling DTSX provide a good experience on Cloud 3 wireless headphones, or is it only beneficial for gaming?
Thanks so much for trusting in me to help you and while I have not reviewed the Barracuda, I can be pretty sure in stating the Hyper X Cloud 3 will be much better, it has 70 more hours in battery life, the Hyper X has larger drivers, for better audio, has a tremendous range, while the barracuda can only do 10 feet, the Hyperx has a better range for frequency response, all around the cloud III seem better.
Hello, I recently got mine as well and had visible glue or some sticky lubricant around the parts where the earbuds twist. Did you have this out of the box as well?
Hi! Is there a way to connect this headset to an Android phone or tablet? I.e. is it gonna work if I plug the dongle into the USB-C port of the device? Thanks!
Hyper X cloud, by a long shot, almost 2 times the battery life, larger drivers, super clear microphone, while I don't have the mic comparison and have never review the razer headphones, I think the Hyperx 3 is pretty awesome, the Razer's are nicer looking, and it does have breathable weave headphones, which might be more comfortable, it's a rough one. For the price, I would go for the Cloud 3 and you are so very welcome my friend, happy I could help.
@@symo00 Always a pleasure my friend, so very happy you stopped by, trusted in me to help you, liked and subbed as well as took a moment out of your day to thank me. It means a ton to me and I am so very happy I could help you. I have been using the Cloud 3 since I reviewed them, I am in love with these.
sadly I have never reviewed the alpha, but quick run down, the Hyperx has 53mm drivers while the Alpha has 50, so the Cloud 3 wins, 100dBSPL vs 98dBSPL sensitivity, the Cloud 3 wins, -42dBV vs -43dBV, the Alpha wins with +1 sensitivity, the alpha cable is almost 3 feet longer, but it is a wired headphone, I prefer wireless and the controls are on the headset on the 3 vs being on the cable on the Alpha.
The Alpha Wireless has dual chamber drivers so the audio would be a little more clear than the Cloud III, which sounds (not sound as in listening, but sounds as in leading to) awesome, since the Cloud III is a single chamber, but there's a catch. The Cloud 3 has 53mm angled drivers, and the Alpha wireless has 50mm drivers, so the Alpha is a bit weaker which is why the Alpha has longer battery life and utilizes the dual chambers to get better audio vs the Cloud 3’s 53mm angled drivers. The Alpha is a stripped-down version of the Cloud III, I guess the Alpha title kind tells you it, I just thought to that but the Cloud 3 is only $10 more, so I would go for the 3.
This is a little strange, but higher sensitivity on the microphone is better than lower, the wireless has a sensitivity of -21.5 dBV while the wired has -42dBV, the wireless is has a higher negative value, (closer to zero) meaning the microphone produces a stronger signal for the same sound pressure level. The sound driver on the wireless has a sensitivity of 111.94 while wired has 100dBSPL, wireless is higher (on the positive, furthest away from 0) Larger drivers, like the 53mm ones on the wireless, vs wired, are larger so they move more air, which is better for bass response, a wider sound stage, usually more efficient and since they both use the same material, that kind of negates the possibility of one material being better. As for the HS80, they are both the same, wired and wireless, I hope this helps.
@@NotTai anytime bud, happy I could help. I know you will love them, I have for 3 years. Now that I have the Cloud III, the HS80 will be my backup, mainly for battery
