Most of the time I have no idea who any of these people are that Maya collabs with and I already know the animals and what order they'll come out in, but I'd be lying if I said I don't get all cosy with a bunch of snacks and watch each stream in full as if it's my first time meeting the ambassadors And I always finish them by finding new lovely streamers Maya just introduced to us. It's so perfect 😊
My approach now is that I'm interested in watching people I don't know interact with the animals I do know. I might not bother to watch the streamers after, but I still really enjoy them getting to meet our favorite animals! Filian, the first VTuber collab for Alveus and Filian's first "Virtual IRL", is the only one I DID start watching. I'm not into anime (except Ghost in the Shell, and Attack on Titan), but the VTuber scene has been a fun rabbit hole... not one I *_EVER_* would've believed being into, even if I came from the future and told myself that! lmao _[sorry, slight ramble, hence the name 😅]_

I’m not sure, the logistics of Acero becoming an ambassador might not be ideal. Like would maya have to technically donate him? In which case Alveus would have to foot all his vet bills etc. Maya is very attached to him so I don’t think she’d want to relinquish ownership.

I do not have a long history of following twitch. I’ve only learned about Scarra recently. I’m sure glad I did. I’ve enjoyed all the streams I have seen him on.
They've actually tested the "I could land this plane" theory with flight simulators. Like those full cockpit ones that pilots use to train. The success rate for untrained everyday people was less than 1%. The success rate for experienced small plane pilots that had never flown passenger jets before was less than 5%.
As a student pilot, this seems about right. Landing those big jets requires a lot of training for a reason. A small plane, like a Cessna 172, I think most people could land albeit not safely.
The thing i love is she isnt saying dont eat meat, shes just saying eat a little less. We eat TOO much, we overproduce it actually. Thats the problem. Just eat more fish, chicken..pig!

I am sure she is well aware that it's far from realistic for everyone to be vegetarian, or even moreso vegan for many different reasons. cultural reasons and also health ones, not everyone's body responds well to cutting out meat just like not everyone's body responds well when they eat too much (especially red) meat too often. there are many, many protein sources to choose from and science always proves that variety in the human diet is very important and should be encouraged :) anyone who tends to have issues with her quite tame approach to education and advocation, is just an edge lord that thinks its funny to troll people about the state of our planet and it's animals. or people who have a power struggle issue where they feel like someone even suggesting they change their habits is something they need to defend themselves from by being obnoxious. it takes a specific kind of person to feel defensive over someone telling them that it's an objective fact that them eating less beef (IF they consume a moderately large amount) would be better for the planet. we get it, beef tastes good but it's more beneficial for you and everyone else if you just moderate your consumption. I promise there are plenty of tasty things out there that you can eat when you aren't having beef or even red meat in general.
