It sure is nice to see SOMEONE who says they're going to dismantle and then reassemble something, and actually CAN DO it. No click-bait here, you deliver! Many thanks
i've been disasembling my gp100 and polishing it up - im going to use this video to take my trigger out and polish it up better and take the cylinder further apart to do the same - THESE VIDEOS ARE AWESOME Thank you
That was a lifesaver. I can take anything apart...but getting it back together often leaves me with 'spare parts'. My GP100 cylinder was not rotating freely. Today I broke the gun down far enough to get the cylinder apart. Cleaned it all up and dabbed with superfine graphite in an ethyl alcohol suspension. Couldn't remember the orientation of that little bit that rides on a plunger in the crane/yoke assembly. You set me to rights. I subscribed!
mike wanted to thank you on your video u told me to watch for the smith tension spring trigger hand...was wondering mike if you have any videos on the colt troopers.?? my dad needs trigger work done and wants me to do it since I did the smith gun with your video,,i just don't feel safe enough to tackle the job without your awesome videos..lmk mike..
@@MikeJack I had the worst time getting my ejector rod, put back into the crane pivot assembly. After I took everything apart, I did a thorough cleaning and polishing and smoothing out of everything. But when I went to reinstall the ejector rod, didn’t want to go in where it supposed to because those bearings were not working freely. They must’ve got something dirty in them and I had to spend a long time getting those freed up.I soaked it in clp all day then used scalding, hot water, rinse it out and then compressed air

Well done Professor... I've had a 6" GP100 for awhile and now thanks to you and your videos I can completely disassemble and re-assemble my pistol.
Thanks and good luck, it's a revolver.

Great video. Thank you.
Thanks I'm glad you like my video.
Great video. One question though. Should thread locker Loctite Blue be used on the cylinder screw?
I have never Loctite this screw and mine is always tight, a small drop will be okay.
