It's so typical that those that review LCD tv's complain about blooming around white objects. It's not possible to eliminate that to 100%, the reason is that it's not OLED where each cell can illuminate or be turned off individually. Still QN95B can deliver deep blacks to a level where it's irrelevant to bring it out like something negative anymore. Just tired of hearing the same argument like LCD tech is stuck in the past, which it cerainly is not! There are enough Pro's and Con's with both OLED and LCD tech, but black level is not where the main focus should be anymore.
I too agree , his videos are more focused on OLED based Pros, when both have an equal pros and cons. Especially if you really complain about OLED which doesn't last long at all. Burn in vs Blooming which is money saver here huh
@@ChrisP3000xIn this review the criticism about blooming was ok because it was just a very little part of the review. But he is right. It makes no sense to complain about a little blooming on mini led when there is no solution for this. My iPad with Mini LED has also little blooming but it‘s the best mini led you can get. Mini LED is not OLED. It‘s like if you complain about some OLED panel characteristics again and again but you cannot change it. Such incomplete criticism makes my research very difficult to find the right panel and in the end the proper tv model.
I agree that it's way over exaggerated. There are conditions where it could matter (such as if you watch your TV in a pitch black room and ALSO off to the side), but for the most part it's a non-issue. I see blooming on my LG CX OLED and my phone's OLED screen in a dark room too. It's just an artifact of how our eyes work. I honestly see no extra blooming on my QN90B over my CX in my dimly-lit room.
I bought the QN95A last year during black friday. Now I'm having major regrets since the new design looks so much better and has some much needed improvements.
Neff, don't be upset. I recently read RTINGS review OF the new qn95b, the Samsung flagship for 2022 versus the qn90a, the flagship from 2021. The blacks on the 2021 90a, the overall color and the overall performance has rated just about the same if not better than this year's flagship qled qn95b. So don't be too upset. I think you made a great purchase. My qn90A is outstanding. Blacks are near OLED clarity.
can you please review QN95B vs G2 , no one in youtube has done it till now, plus everyone is reviewing only the QN90A/B, and there is also comparison like Q80B vs C2 , something like that . thanks

How or where are those 8 speakers ?!? If u show the 4 corners of the TV with speakers + (3 + 3 on the backside) = 10 or is it fron that 4.2.2 channel sound ?!?
@@tears2040 thank you for sharing! I managed to get my 75” price matched for 2K. Overall very pleased especially for the price. I would say my biggest complaint is SDR content sometimes appears a little pixelated and when calibrated through the Apple TV it produces a lot of unwanted blooming. This is mitigated when color balance settings are left untouched.

Yes I believe you still need the One Connect Box as the power is fed through it.
Can I ask you a question? My tv appears to lean back, level confirms (my stand is level ) do I have a defective stand?
Did you ever solve the issue?
I have a qn95b 75in and noticed a thin strip along the bottom of the screen. Is that a protective film to be removed?
If there is a film, it should have stickers on the frame indicating you need to remove it. If not, I wouldn't attempt it to remove anything 👍

I'm just speculating on the general whereabouts, it's not really clear. It just mentions on the specifications that it has 8 speakers.
Blooming effect in certain scenes?
It's not really noticeable unless your watching a scene with a significant contrast like a person standing against a dark background for instance.
How would you compare this QN95B to the QN800A you reviewed?
I own the QN800A in 85” , it’s a very good tv/display. Bright, colorful and very good contrast.
