The ghost of that Donda review lingers heavy over this.
Y'all trippin. I mean ye didn't have a good verse on Daytona either so that doesn't matter. Push was dense, losing his parents and then having a son during the pandemic. The Joker theme throughout it. Push really embraced the villain role he got placed in during the drake beef while also expanding his content. If the beats are bad to you then that's your opinion but over time I picked my favorites off Daytona just seems I had a lil easier on this one but a great selection of songs
great selection of songs, not a great album. you said it yourself. cause honestly some of those beats ain't it bro for the level of content push delivers.
I feel like if they rewatch their Daytona review, they'll understand why so many people are so confused by their take on this album and Pusha's discography.
This album reminds me of how old albums used to feel. Sooo dense with bars, details in the instrumentals and song structures. I’ve played it so much and I’m still picking things out of it. You can tell a lot of effort and time went into every single element of the writing, recording, beat making etc
@@iamhexoronii this album was mediocre as hell. Idk what these mfs are talking about. But as the great Sky Stone said, “different strokes for different folks.”
I think if Feefo was in this review, he would think all of them are nuts. He's the biggest Pusha T fan out of all the guys. I remember he had Daytona in his top 10 list of that year.
This is probably Pusha's best body of work yet. AOTY for sure. Not sure where these guys are from, or what they generally listen to, but it definitely can't be hip hop. This is a classic.
You guys were better off doing videos in an odd setting on the side walk because we could see how invested you were in really talking about the craft in any dynamic & nature of your environment & i can imagine that's what got you the loyal fanbase you have today. Don't get me wrong I'm very happy for how cultivative you guys are becoming but i feel like you are now involved in so many other avenues (Merch/Content on unrelated topics/Studios/Podcasts/Patreon) that the essence of what DEHH was is dying down & will eventually slowly vanish. Like any longtime fan (since primary school till today as a 22 year old man) i wouldn't want that to happen. I'm not as gassed up for a DEHH video as i was before, the energy is not the same. Sure there was a lot surrounding this & many may disagree but i was okay with you guys reacting to something a few months later because at that point you are more prepared & can cover every basis of it with a great argumentative connection. Now everything is just rushed to the extent that it seems it is more for the revenue than the content, let's just put as much videos as we can out there just like all the other "content creators" whom i had rated you higher than. I will always be a fan but i guess for now I'll just take a break from you & see what the future holds with my love for Dead End Hiphop.
You guys been pushing these reviews out a lot faster lately I've noticed and I felt that it doesn't give you guys enough time to fully digest/appreciate albums cause alot of your reviews lately have felt very surface level, especially this one. And myke is typically the "I didn't get the album till I listened to it 11 times" guy lol so just seems like a weird choice. I really don't mind reviews coming out way later if it means yall actually have some things to say about the album. Cause I don't think you discussed any pusha lyrics on this review? And at some point we need to address the kanye hate cause it's starting to become a detriment to the overall channel.
I find it crazy yall didn't like this album more. This is my AOTY and is one of my favorite Pusha T albums along with Daytona. I love this channel no matter the difference of opinion.
Ye verses aside, which I wasn’t too crazy about either, I loved this album and was pretty shocked to hear you guys weren’t so hot on it. It’s a bummer because I really would’ve liked to have heard Feefo and Beezy’s takes as well. Also Myke’s right Let the Smokers Shine the Coupes is on of Push’s hardest tracks ever.
I respect your guys opinion on all of the music you review because I’ve been following for so long and you guys have put on a lot of smaller artists, but lately it’s really felt like the constant Kanye hatred has clouded your judgment on every album he’s been involved with. From the Donda review and calling the pop smoke interlude the best song (and not even discussing Come to Life) to saying you don’t really care for Daytona much when y’all’s review was OVERWHELMING positive to downplaying the significance of this album (which is totally fine, I’m not saying it’s the best thing I’ve ever heard) but the first thing you guys brought up was more negativity towards Ye. His production throughout Daytona and this album were amazing in my opinion and even though his rap verse was mixed like ass, his verse on Rock and Roll was nowhere near bad enough to warrant immediate negativity towards it IN MY OPINION. Just feels really weird whenever Ye is involved with a project with you guys nowadays. Oh well.
@@ArmLegLegArmHead47 it’s awful. That’s why they didn’t like it. And they have no bias against Kanye they legit went to the Donda concert hearings or whatever extra shit kanye was doing to promote Donda.
As I grow in manhood, and hip hop, my taste changes. But not only my taste, my vibrations become altered too. I remember how Prodigy’s (mobb deep) speed, flows, sounds, production, and topics changed and grew with his growth. And it’s even more appreciated in high end sight! Pusha needs to tap in to different vibes with different moods to truly test his artistry
Nigo created bape, and he had a compilation cd that had a bunch of rappers on it. And hear me clearly was on that too. As well as another song with the clips. There is a version of this album that switches the track listing and groups them by producer idk if it would help with enjoyment. But yeah it’s weird that y’all weren’t feeling it. Cause he’s just been in a upward trajectory since my name is my name. He stayed true to his lane; and stopped with the pop tracks and his rapping is just stellar. And what he does with pharrell is crazy. He succeeded in trying to make him into not just a mixtape rapper and into an album crafter.
For me, 'Let the Smokers..' is one of the hardest tracks I've heard in a grip. The beat is STUPID. I don't even mind all the coke bars because all of them are crazy. He's talkin.
Malice is lyrically one of the best rappers of all time. The way he spits is so different. You can’t name many groups with 2 better albums than Lord Willin and Hell Hath No Fury
I love Clipse (and I love both of those album), but I can name a lot of groups with 2 better albums than LW and HHNF: Beastie Boys, Wu-Tang Clan, Outkast, Gang Starr, A Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, De La Soul, EPMD, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
I cant believe I dissagree this hard with yall, usually I am more on board. But yeesh this is album of the year for me, loved every track, keep coming back to it, Pusha still in his prime imo.
I can really appreciate the comments because it goes to show you how TRUE art finds those who it’s meant for . I think these gentleman didn’t get what they wanted therefore the art is lost on them . If they’ve never revisited any other Push album that tells you everything you need to know . The fact that they said Malice and Push sound exactly alike on I Pray for You also tells you all that you need to know about their ears 😆. Love the that the comments are in total disagreement .
I am a bit surprised y'all saying that Pusha T albums have no replay value. Daytona has a lot of replay value and so does this album. I would have loved to hear Feefo and Beezy's opinions.
Yeah, you guys were better off just not reviewing this one. The lackadaisical attitude and lack of engagement is palpable here and I sense it's because of Kanye. I would honestly advise that you just don't review anything with his involvement tbh. Because this review was not it. Also how are you going to flip flop on Daytona like that, your review for that album is still publicly accessible on RUclips where everyone in the group was giving it high praise AND it ended up on Myke's year end list (don't remember if it did for any others), now to say it has no replay value is just hard to believe at best and farcical at worst. There are also just the bare basics that yall failed to acknowledge which blatantly tells that no research was put into it. If you can't tell Malice from Push's voice, I really don't know what to say. If you didn't know from the thousand interviews Push has done where he talks about how the album is a 50/50 split between Pharrell and Kanye and that's how the production was laid down, you're living under a rock. And if you think Let the Smokers Shine the Coupes is not good, then you're just smoking what Push is selling. This just makes y'all look super out of touch to be honest, and Push is probably y'alls age anyway and a revered veteran rapper, so to see such a bored attitude I would have thought you guys were reviewing a Lil Uzi or some newer school artist's album.
Any chance they might set in there ways at this point with their reviews? Like a lot of underground lately and not a fan of the mainstream music...I'm just curious if anyone agrees or not.

And I feel like usually I get an interesting perspective and different ones on hall reviews and with this one it felt really rushed. Y’all can delay the review if it means we get a more interesting review with all the members.
Nigo is producer and he also is the owner of Bape, one of the biggest designers brands in the world. He just dropped an album with a shit ton of features too. 2 Tyler features, 2 Rocky features, one Rocky and Tyler song, a clipse song, uzi and pharrell songs too. Yall should listen to it
He's not a producer he's a "curator". Also, I know I might be wrong but I'm 99% sure that album was a collection of loose tracks from everyone's projects that Pharrell touched up and they shoved them together
This review is a miss. I gotta agree with some of the other comments. This is the worst review I’ve seen from you guys. I mean no disrespect. But I just don’t see the same care and time to understand the records that y’all used to have. For example, Rod can analyze subtle Jay Z lines, but there was no research that went into the album or the lore of it. That Charlemagne interview Push did would explain a lot and tie up some loose ends.

I think I get why they don't return to Pusha T albums. You got to be in the mood for a Pusha T album honestly, his albums you can't just play in the background or just play on some chill or hype sh*t. This is easily their worst take and their worst video tbh. Love them, but they’re bugging.
This needs a full review with all the gang, I'm sorry but you guys did not do this album justice
By the way, this album was really fucking good. I’d give it like a 8/10 personally. I would’ve probably dropped the Uzi track but it was kind of neat to hear Push rap in a more pop centric style. Otherwise, the songs ranged from good to the best shit Push has ever dropped.
I liked the uzi/Don Toliver track alot
I don’t like Uzi but I think he killed his verse tbh
@@MegaKhalid121 I feel like I’d like it more if it was a freebie rather than on the album? I actually think Pushas verse just really doesn’t live up to what he’s capable of.
A distinct beat switch could've helped separate Push's verse imo. I just think, those (THREE worlds) colliding need space. Probably my least fav song on the album, but, it's not bad per se.
I give it that rating too
I was waiting for this review to post all week, and it felt like you guys just mailed it in. At least they got the Brambleton track right.
Yeah I'm with Myke, *Let The Smokers Shine the Coupes* is sooooo hard. Perfect follow up track on this album . Play this in July, with your bass well monitored.

Bump in the Whip certified?
After the bridge when that bass really kicks in.... Got damn pharrell!
Jesus Christ yall buggin on this one. this album has so much replay value. im in NY and people been bumping this album heavy the past week. Shine The Coupes is an absolute banger. Jays verse on Neck and Wrist is amazing (what more do yall want from the guy after this long in the game? he's not Eminem giving u an unnecessary barfest every feature. he makes u hold onto every word so it hits). Dreaming of the Past is the old Ye yall always say yall want and barely spoke on that. His verse was cool (once again, what do yall want from the guy after this long? let niggas experiment) Malice sounds NOTHING like Pusha.......this was just a horrible half baked review. happens to every GOOD music artists now. just a "lets get this out the way" mentality that goes the exact opposite of the general attitude of how people feel about the album. The ghost of that Donda review lingers heavy over this.
I think they’re dislike/hate of Ye is skewing they’re view
What does Em have to do with this? You don't have to put someone down to prove a point or compliment s omeone.
This project has been growing on me after ever re-listen. One of his best undoubtdly
Seeing yall be so mid on Push is crazy. This album was amazing
That’s because the album was mid
Lmao old heads be like
@@iamhexoronii this album was mediocre as hell. Idk what these mfs are talking about. But as the great Sky Stone said, “different strokes for different folks.”
Its still that way. Have u forgotton tpab? What kinda old head shit is this
@@josechamu240 lol TPAB is the only album y’all know that’s “deep”
@@dfwherbie8814 Not just TPAB, TPAB is a masterwork but here's another amazing album
Aethiopes, Pray for Haiti, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert.
I turn the video off the second that you guys didn’t know who Nigo from the Neptunes were?? Wtf
If u never returned to Daytona, I questioned your entire taste in music. Also this album is incredible. Oh well, your lost not ours lol
I think if Feefo was in this review, he would think all of them are nuts. He's the biggest Pusha T fan out of all the guys. I remember he had Daytona in his top 10 list of that year.
Let the smokers shine the coupes beat is HARD!!! How did y’all not like it?! Tripping!!
This is probably Pusha's best body of work yet. AOTY for sure. Not sure where these guys are from, or what they generally listen to, but it definitely can't be hip hop. This is a classic.
Drunkenly stumbled across this video… which I was waiting for… Thank the Four Loko gods
Cheers to you! Enjoy them Lokos G! 🙌🏼🍻💯
you're welcome
Ew what
Funniest shit I read all day 😭😂 but nah dehh the truth
I might need a break from DEHH after this review
I find it crazy yall didn't like this album more. This is my AOTY and is one of my favorite Pusha T albums along with Daytona. I love this channel no matter the difference of opinion.
That's not a beyonce sample that's literally Pharrell singing lol
Ye verses aside, which I wasn’t too crazy about either, I loved this album and was pretty shocked to hear you guys weren’t so hot on it. It’s a bummer because I really would’ve liked to have heard Feefo and Beezy’s takes as well.
Also Myke’s right Let the Smokers Shine the Coupes is on of Push’s hardest tracks ever.
Beezy doesn’t review anything Kanye related 🙄 even though he reviewed Daytona I think 🤔
@@HardLiquor45 he loved Daytone iirc
It gets hard to keep cheering for Jordan when he wins all the time.
Oh well.
They should stop reviewing Kanye period because they can't hide their bias
Donda was flaming garbage though?
They’re tripping hard on this album. It was a great album
This is such a weird review, I got the same vibes for the DONDA review. The Ye antagonism is real. Damn
@Kae-Toad imagine hating on good music beca of an artists personal views. Hypocritical af
Donda just sucks.
@@MrASAPAB it doesn't
@@ArmLegLegArmHead47 it’s awful. That’s why they didn’t like it. And they have no bias against Kanye they legit went to the Donda concert hearings or whatever extra shit kanye was doing to promote Donda.
@@MrASAPAB you are telling me Believe What I Say, Come To Life, Off the Grid, NCLB and Hurricane are bad songs
Let The Smokers Shine The Coupes was the best song on the album imo.
They definitely needed Feefo and beezy for this review
Feefo and Beezy absolutely NEEDED to be on this review man
Malice is lyrically one of the best rappers of all time. The way he spits is so different. You can’t name many groups with 2 better albums than Lord Willin and Hell Hath No Fury
Right much as I like mobb deep, havoc is a great producer but he not touching malice as an MC
Idk man
I love Clipse (and I love both of those album), but I can name a lot of groups with 2 better albums than LW and HHNF: Beastie Boys, Wu-Tang Clan, Outkast, Gang Starr, A Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, De La Soul, EPMD, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
Y'all crazy. This album fire. It definitely has replay value
I cant believe I dissagree this hard with yall, usually I am more on board.
But yeesh this is album of the year for me, loved every track, keep coming back to it, Pusha still in his prime imo.
Im gonna have to revisit Pusha's last album, cuz this one's amazing
You should, i like this album, but daytona is gon up end up being pusha's classic
Daytona is fire
IMAGINARY PLAYERS AIN'T BEEN COACHED RIGHT 😤😤🔥🔥
Man, it’s such a simple line but it sticks out to me so much. I’ve been repeating it ever since the song dropped.
Myke u gotta do your own solo review of Blueprint 3 one day lmao
how y’all say kanye production was weak but go through the tracks and say y’all like his beats
y’all trippin
bruh Dreamin Of The Past made my face tighten up the moment it started
Y'all might have to make "They didn't like our Pusha T review" video....
I trust Beezy opinions on production. it's a let down when he's absent
Any chance they might set in there ways at this point with their reviews? Like a lot of underground lately and not a fan of the mainstream music...I'm just curious if anyone agrees or not.
Exactly what I was thinking. They don't fuck with any mainstream artists at this point is weird
@@EZR725 I think that's why their other ventures are taking off more than the reviews now. Like the Friday battles are fun, the live shows gives different perspectives as well as their podcast.
They literally reviewed a Vince staples album like 2 weeks ago and they fucked with it, maybe they just don’t care for some sounds that SPECIFIC people do
Daytona is amazing how tf did Ken not mess with it
He did in the review
@@leviturner4565 but now says he doesn’t mess with pushas albums
@@Noirlore It's pretty much an open secret the Kanye connection has poisoned everything he's associated with for them, even if that means blatantly flip-flopping on their stances.
Respect the opinions but i gotta disagree with Pusha replay value part. Really feel like he's made his best work to date with this & Daytona
(Clipse albums included)
Let the Smokers Shine the Coupes is pure fire
Oooohhhh we needed Feefo and Beezy!!
I actually love this album. First time I strongly disagree with you guys like this 😅
“I don’t care for pusha albums”
“I don’t return to Daytona”
Bruh WHAT
You guys are insanely off here. This album is amazing. I think you guys should have waited for the whole team to be present and continued listening to it in the mean time. PS: Myke lost me at “I never go back to Daytona” wtf
Im a first time viewers. Cant believed they didn’t like the album. Now I gotta see what 5 albums they think are actually good
We need Feefo there so he can tell everyone that Let the Smoker Shine the Coups bumps in the whip!!
I feel like push is really starting to come into his own solo… his first 2-3 albums were potential but a little missing… Daytona and it’s almost dry are him really finding his solo sound… dudes bout to take over
Commenters can't handle different opinions and have to jump through hoops to make up conspiracy theories on why they don't like the album. The job of a review isn't to mimic 100% of your opinion.
Push needs to do an album with Alchemist.
Nah then they'll say it's his best work, and Act like Daytona was shit.
Got the skeleton crew on this one
😂
Right cuz this review dead as fuck
Yoo Ken and Modest tripping not liking Smokers Shine The Coupes
too bad i couldn’t hear Myke the whole video with that mask on. it’s 2022 bro. you can breathe again
wow i did not expect this reaction. 😭 "good on pusha albums" ??? dead end crazy for this one
This album is dope , and Daytona is one of the classic rap albums of the 2010s
Y’all gotta have feefo and B there for major albums like this man
Felt the lack of them here
And I feel like usually I get an interesting perspective and different ones on hall reviews and with this one it felt really rushed. Y’all can delay the review if it means we get a more interesting review with all the members.
love y’all but this def one of y’all’s worst reviews
Peace 2 Da Gods🙌🏾🙏🏾. Appreciate y'all. salute 👊🏾 Let the Smokers Shine the Coupes!
Nigo is producer and he also is the owner of Bape, one of the biggest designers brands in the world. He just dropped an album with a shit ton of features too. 2 Tyler features, 2 Rocky features, one Rocky and Tyler song, a clipse song, uzi and pharrell songs too. Yall should listen to it
I don't think he's a music producer but moreso a DJ Khaled type for his album.
That Nigo® album is 🔥🔥
He's not a producer he's a "curator".
This is my favorite Pusha album, and it keeps growing on me the more I listen.
This a disappointing oldhead review
Pusha in his mid 40s too
Pusha old tho 😂😂
MYKE C-Town just said he never returned to DAYTONA ... What y'all listening to???? WASP 💀
Brambleton song is for US 757. That’s a area in Norfolk Va where a lot was goin on in that area. Also, there was a Dope Car Wash across from Norfolk State University 🔰 and Smokers used to Wash a lot of Dope Boyz Cars IYKYK
I think I get why they don't return to Pusha T albums. You got to be in the mood for a Pusha T album honestly, his albums you can't just play in the background or just play on some chill or hype sh*t. It's just really great production, great lyrics, I feel like his albums you have to take in when you do listen to it therefore leading to not much replay value because you don't want to listen to that in your day to day life. I'm referring to Daytona and this new album btw, the ones before I liked but as a whole weren't THAT great.
I'm usually with yall on a lot stuff but this review lost me. Push assassinated this whole album. "Let the Smokers Shine the Coup" is pure dope (pun intended)
DEHH has aged like milk
I know bro, I really fw them but their reviews just ain’t the same
Nigo (pronounced “Knee-Go”) is the owner/creator of the brand “Human Made”…he dropped a project called “I Know Nigo” with the “Hear Me Clearly” record and the Tyler record “Come On Let’s Go” and other records..he got a Clipse collab on there also.
yup and also a legendary Japanese fashion designer - creator of the iconic Bape design. how they not know who he is??? a travesty lol
Rod said he didn't like the rock and roll beat and Myke said he didn't even remember it wtf
Y'all trippin' this album is fire, and so are Daytona & Darkest Before Dawn
let the smokers shine the coupes was hard as fuck
