    Most acupuncturists don’t wear gloves because they need to feel the points. Also my acupuncturist does alcohol prep on all the spots she’s going to do prior to starting the needles. Could’ve easily been cut out. She’s fine yall.

    I definitely preferred Jason's old office setup :( I find this has much more room echo (could also have something to do with the mic setup?) Still a great video regardless!!

      Its fine. The needles weren't dipped in manure. Stop being such a germaphobe. The needles aren't entering the bloodstream.

    • @stargazer6554
      @stargazer6554 11 месяцев назад

      @@drhouse7508 stop being a spreader of misinformation and ignorance. Acupuncture needles do break the skin surface where we have capillaries. Bleeding can happen when needles are removed especially by someone taking a blood thinner. It's basic proper procedure to cleanse the skin surface before breaking the skin, making it sterile, no matter the gauge of the needle. I personally wouldn't take the chance with what I've seen happen internally with non sterile procedures....and u thought calling someone a germophobe in a medical setting would be condescending? lmao.

      Clean hands are better than gloves, lots of studies on that :) also we didn't see the needles beforehand, they could very well be sterile and on a sterile container

      sometimes ignorance can be offensive. Considering that the internet is free and you may dig further and look into these stuff, but chose not to.
      Anyway, Chinese Medicine is an actual, legitimate specialty in the field of medical science. Same as with psychology, neurology, dermatology, etc.
      Dr. Jason here studied in Beijing University (along in other universities) and is also an acupuncturist.

      @@mrsgoober_No, actually, it isn't. It's a pseudoscience used by charlatans to exploit ill people for their own monetary gain. You're either deliberately misleading people, or are woefully ignorant.

      “Licensed acupuncturists (LAc) have an average of 3,000 hours of master's level training, on-site at a nationally accredited graduate school or college of acupuncture. Hundreds of hours of clinical experience and at least 250 actual patient treatments before licensure.”
      Also, at this point acupuncture (which comes from Chinese medicine) has been confirmed through peer reviewed journals/studies to be effective for a range of symptoms.

    Asmr videos work when you don't have ads in them. So.. if you don't cut out ads means you're doing it more for the money. A good asmr videos must not contain anything else or is ruining my therapy. Maybe is just me... sadly I can't subscribe

    • @Hijargo
      @Hijargo 11 месяцев назад +27

      Bro it was an ad after the preview and before the actual video started. Don't get snobby about someone making free content from a treatment they paid out of pocket for. What you're saying is you expect her to pay money to make these videos and just take it at a total loss so you can have a slightly more pleasurable viewing experience? Kinda narcissistic.

      Hmmmm. Melissa has previously spoken about how she commutes 3 hours a day to work in London, then films on top. I suspect she's in a low-paid admin job, so can't afford to live in the city.
      So to suggest she shouldn't make money from her YT videos is outrageous. I hope she gets lots more subscribers so she can get the money she so richly deserves.
