Something about nonsense pseudoscience therapies really set off my ASMR like none other. It’s these and like the “scammer” like healers or whatever that set it off. It’s so weird.
Reiki isn’t a science. This is just an alternative therapy that helps people relax. The placebo effect is extremely powerful. As long as these practitioners aren’t claiming to heal diseases or cancer or anything I don’t see the issue.

While I love this video, the minor notes that are being played nearer the end are rather creepy. Pretty sounding but the fact that they have the feeling of the beginning of a horror movie is a little odd choice for a reiki practice.

Just because someone looks 'remarkably healthy' doesn't mean they can't seek professional therapy. I know many people who look completely fine who are severely ill, both mentally and/or physically. It's not your place to judge or comment on.

I don't think this will cure physical ailments or injuries, as you seem to imply 😂. Not to mention she's literally only going to these appointments for her channel - why make up a load of illnesses to make it make sense why she goes to these places when she can just explain some symptoms and mental illnesses that she's already feeling. If you broke your leg in one place, would you suddenly forget about the pain just because there's someone out there in the world who's just shattered all the bones in their legs. I mean, after all, your pain is rather trivial compared to theirs

One thing that keeps me from subbing to this channel is it always sounds so harsh. If you learned how to run this through a DeEsser to take away the harsh SSSS sounds, it would be golden.
