Follow MprooV on Twitter / mproovapp #agadmator In what was the shortest round of the FIDE World Chess Candidates’ Tournament so far, Levon Aronian of Armenia and Magnus Carlsen of Norway maintained their 1.5 point lead over Russians Vladimir Kramnik and Peter Svidler. Against Teimour Radjabov of Azerbaijan, Carlsen needed to sacrifice an exchange to wear off dangerous threats against his king, which proved to be sufficient. Aronian got a small positional advantage against Alexander Grischuk of Russia, who saved himself by going for active defence. For a moment Kramnik was in big trouble, but he escaped with a draw when his opponent Boris Gelfand of Israel refrained from playing actively on move 19. Vassily Ivanchuk of Ukraine and Peter Svidler of Russia played the shortest draw of the round in a Scotch game that quickly turned into an endgame.

I'll make an AI on my channel that crushes AlphaZero and call it AIgadmator
I'll make a quantum computing algorithm that demolishes both of them and call it 'The Finischer'. And when you get crushed, it will be known as you got "Fischer-ed"
Looking forward to it. Meanwhile you can try to beat my existing AI's. I've got some of them on my channel.
Whos here after he defeat ding 😃
@Preethi Sinha hiii
Ding crushed him twice in blitz in the tata steel 2019
@@abhirammarru2434 And got crushed in the world cup. Wait, Radjabov was in tata 2019 ?
#suggestion Analyze your own games and explain what your thoughts were
Agreed, they are quite instructive
some dude with tree nips for a profile pic why not both?
Iam_a_Duck good idea
That will be super instructive
It sucks that we'll never see a game between Mikahail Tal and Vassily Ivanchuk... It sure would have been a masterpiece!!!
I love how you have the players pictures beside the chessboard... Is there also any way to include their clocks?
"Captures, captures and then after captures, captures"
So I'm a great king to e2 player...;-) Obviously Carlsen and Radjabov didn't go for this "extended restday"-scenario and played a beautiful game that was drawn in the end and both had nothing to worry about...
You had me at "hello everyone " 😂😂
At 09:59 after white played Re3 black can play Ne1 defending the pawn on f3, and white can't capture the knight because Qh3 is coming. Another idea for black at 09:59 might be Nf4 instead of N:e3. White can't take the knight because of Qg4+ and mate in 2. White has to play R:f3 Nh3+, black can exchange the rooks and play Rf8, and take on f2 (maybe).
I can not believe that Radjabov could not win this game. I wonder what engine says about this situation, like who is better?
Agad Throwback Classic 😎
He's definitely grabbing his pen, because he played e6 and not a6, the direction of which Radjabov's hand was going. :)
#suggestion Do a lichess tournament just for fun
#My thought
The element that promotes ur channel is that u also learn with us which is evident when u explained the purpose of light squared bishop in the startup of this video.
Super draw 😀 let's not forget Carlsen the great and Radjabov the greater to make former go on backfoot.
I'm the one who is becoming, 1260+ and raising. Man show more Gelfand photos, great job, :)
I am an excellent defender 😂
Lol
You are doing very good job on your videos.you deserve 1000000 subs definetely!Greetings from Greece!
I'll be honest
I am 222nd
No i am 222nd
I suppose it's easy to miss a mate in one if you're keeping track of several moves ahead in your head.
#suggestion alexander alekhine vs Jose Raul capablanca
This was a particularly instructive video. Nice!
I will try this Nezhmetdinov variation.. Playing a lot Sicilian this days
I use that bishop move for opening in the king side but when the queen is not protecting otherwise it seems a childish move
This is must be just the original chest vide.....Hello Everyone!!............subscribed
You are the best at chess comments. Good work!
#suggestion AlphaZero -sounds similar to zerotwo- games are really interesting can you do more of them?
g2-g3 by Carlsen was a really calm move.
Awesome video Agad! Keep up with the hints!
We want to see more games with Peter the Swindler!
8:08 why Carlsen didn't took the pawn on c3???
Another chess video, a good start to the day!👌🏻
on 6:32 you can play Qc3 and defend R on e1 on trade Queen for two rooks.
Draws are the ultimate blue balls of chess
First
To last
Could someone explain why after whites e4-e5 that d6-d5 is not the best move ? Playing as they did black ended up with double c pawns, how is that better ?
Disappointing finish.
Why not give credit to Stockfish or whatever you're using to come up with Nh4, Ng2 plan?
Would it be horrible on Black's 3rd move to play ...Qc7? Black's pawn structure would remain intact after 4. Bxc6, and though after Black retakes on c6 White could play Ne5, driving B's Q back to c7, why wouldn't that be OK?
I remember someone complaining about all the draws on this channel and they got blasted. Then everyone got a laugh out of it because chess is 90% draws
They should not allow players to draw with 21 pieces still on board and if they try to reach time control by repeating moves they both lose and get zero point.goodnight
at 11:25 i don't see the advantage of King to e2 over e1. I mean the black queen is active on white squares while the black bishop is kinda blocked.
Qh3 for black at 10:30 before pushing the pawn, forcing the exchange of rooks?
Is it Maybe possible to add the time the players have left? For example below and above the player names. You Will have to spend less time explaining the time pressure and gives more information About the game
Why can't internet matches tell you the evaluation during the game instead of the stupid material count.
Hi Antonio, could you please make a few videos on the tournament and games “BOSNA 2018”
After Qh3 why carlsen couldnt Play Ke1?
So who was better at draw? White or Black? Can someone with an engine check?
What video software are you using to make your videos?
12:04 after Ke2 why not Qf5 & exchange queens?
Why can't the king go to e1 to prevent the 3-fold repetition?
i really needed this yday lol but im off today and its even better now :)
Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy!
so Anand Vs Carlsen coming up?????
At 3:44 i was thinking of what he actually said
Thanks for the tip for new guys :)
At 13:18 , wouldn't Rf1still trap the Queen? I mean, King goes to e2, then Rf1 because it's guarded by the Queen.
You want to give away your rook for free?
Analyze the games of the arab players
The quote above the board says it all
11:25 What do I do here? The BEST defensive move... Queen to f4. And NOW what does black do? Hmm?
Rashad Kafeel
It's called a joke
6:34 white queen could move to c3, safe from attack, yet protecting the e1 rook.
Floyd Maxwell Black has mate in 2, after Qg5+, king can move to either f2 or h1, and then Qg2 is mate.
@7:44; what would be wrong with black playing Q×e1+ followed by B×f5?
Nothing
in this boring era of chess, a draw by 3 folds repetition is called a very exciting game :(
The most precise play from both sides will result in a theoretical draw.
ur video is a relief for a bad day
Couldnt the queen take c6 10:12
Yeeaaah : DOG is back ...
looking at the pictures you might think they didn't have enough rest
After a rest day, there will be fireworks or the games will be quiet. Reminds me of the prediction "tomorrow the weather will be either good or bad". Always true ;-)
13:27 Why didn't Carlsen play knight to F2, to shoo away the queen? if rook captures, then king captures. You exchange a knight for a rook and avoid stalemate.
Madsy9 Qf5 Ne4 Qh3 again. If u go sth. Like Qg2 after Qf5 u give lots of options to black like Bg5
Aha, thanks!
Magnus was in a bind!
great stuff :)
HELLO EVERYONE
Should the king move to the barely protected right side or to the left side where there's a wall of pawns and all of white's pieces?? Tough call, indeed.
if you put it like that then yes it seems obvious but you might fear the h pawn will drop if you don't somehow use your king to protect it. That's why it's important to think twice about it.
big shot
Why didn't Magnus ever take on c6? It was a free pawn
Then queen would take h2
@@anandvidekar1325 thanks!
nice pics
First
in move 18 why not Q×c6 7:10
It's not worth the it. Black can just play Bb7 and make an attack on Nf3 and g2 pawn. You will have to play Qb5 and that's just a bad position to have your queen at. Black would easily break through the white's defense.
@ 6:31 why not QxRe8 RxQe8 RxRe8. Up the exchange and a piece. I see no matink threats
Gsam Baba because after white takes rook, black doesn't take rook. He plays Qg5+ followed by Qg2 checkmate, and it's all forced.
Gorka Ros thanks. I see it now
Gsam Baba no problem man. I'm glad to have helped you
13:22 why not Nf2 to kick the queen away? hmm mr agadmator notice me
Yes.....why not
Qf5?
Benoit Ranque woudn't do anything
Why does the queen never capture on c6?
You are getting rid of black's weakness and also moving the queen away from the defense of the king because black had a powerful attack.
6:03 why not Qxf5?
Rxf5?
Rashid Nezhmetdinov, in my opinion the best chess player of all time.
fethulgulub No offense but what exactly recommends him for that?
I mean the beauty of his games and his unexpected sucrifices. He mostly won matches against Tal.
Of course i like Mophy and Anderssen games too.
13:44 Qg4+ not Kg4+..
Sharayu Palit because carlsen doesn't mind a draw
David Masabo Antonio told Kg4+ not Qg4+. That's my point.
That is unforgivable!!
Sharayu Palit sorry misread ur sentence
David Masabo no problem.👍
Why not Qc3 at 6:25?
Then qg5+ and qg2 mate.
That's right, thank you
i think white queen cant move there, as there will be mate in 2 with black queen to g5 and then g2
Kamil Tylus Qg5
Kamil Tylus white could just take two rooks for a queen
Would love to see one of your own games again💪🏻
I know it's a draw...All games are drawn in round 7...but still I'll watch 😁😋
"you're white how do you defend here" he wasn't just talking about the game
In a game of chess if someone has their hand in the air when the opponent is making the move in is an interesting turn of events.
please make the videos of Mikhail tal on every 5th video minimum ....we all love his games more than these
How to you, not we. we love carlsen
Malik ok keep loving him 💐
Niranjan Rajesh what
How to every 5th might be a bit much and be straining for agadmator, every 10th would be fine I think but he doesn't have to I like all his vids anyway
Malik as you see by him having 7 likes to your one, he does seem to speak for some people.
Look at Radjabov sleev on that picture,he got it dirty when he bowed down to the King Carlsen.Hahahah
Please don't show draws unless they're remarkable.
Smith Jnr I have to disagree.
Smith Jnr every chess game is worth analyzing bro
This was a remarkable game. I'm sorry you cannot appreciate beautiful games.
If you only show decisive games, then Agad would have run out of games by next Tuesday.
You can't play chess perfectly
