Stihl HL94 Gas Hedge Trimmer long term review.
I have used this Hedge Timmer for over 3 years now and can honestly say it does the job with ease. I have had 0 problems and will tackle the thickest of hedges without bogging down. This trimmer is the long reach trimmer of 8' feet.

Greetings M8, I see you channel is doing well! I need to buy you some coffee ☕️ soon. Yes GoPro 9 plus I picked up Insta360 camera. That camera allows me 360 view so I am never out of frame, big plus when you don’t have a camera 📷 man. Lol. Cheers 🍻

@@CityScapesLawnCare lovely stuff , I really wanted a GoPro but have been put off by the over heating, I film for over 2 hours sometimes on the iPhone. I think you mentioned about over heating before, the uk never gets that hot but I have heard it can over heat after 20-30 minutes depending on what your running it at

@@acreslawncare GoPro 10 has its issue. On gp 9 I’ve only had overheated when we were 95 and I had the tripod in full sun. Lasted about 40/50 min. If in the shade will go for oven an hour and 20 min.

How long do the batteries last? I have this hedger, a battery may suffice, probably would need two. I have a 200 foot long and 12 foot high wall of shrubs along the driveway, and then bounce around the yard and hit the bigger shrubs.

Hi Michael, this video is about HL94 Gas hedge trimmer. Funny you mention this now as I do have a review coming up this Thursday on the HLA145 and HSA66 both battery so make sure to watch. Batteries on both battery trimmers will last at least 122 min depending on battery size. That is a very long time.

@@CityScapesLawnCare Sorry, I should have stated it better, I already own the HL94...

@@michaelwright1602 ahh ok, so how long does it take you with the Hl94? Honestly the batteries 🔋 last forever it seems, I’ve never even used 1 bar on them. So run time is 122 min of solid trigger pull meaning it’s running the whole time, 2 hours is a long time. Of course the AP300s is 25% more run time but is heavier than the AP200 which is recommended for the 122 min run time. Of course buy another battery for the both trimmers and swap them when you are running low. Hope that helps?

I noticed the 94 engines spit a little oil out the muffler maybe it's a single piston ring engine I'm not sure 😃

That's pretty poor service if it's spitting oil out of the muffler. Are you mixing the engine oil at 50:1? I wonder where that particular model is built..

I’m using stihl recommendation and their equipment. It may be a little rich at one point or another. But I don’t have it anymore as I’m using battery now.

Stick with the gas equipment. First stihl product is 14 years old, works like new, and parts are easy to find. My first electric trimmer cant get parts, and the head broke quick. The materials used are way better for gas models.

Good thing you not living in California as all handheld gas tools are banned this year and that includes all lawn equipment. Many other States are following suit so you may want to read up some more because it's coming regardless of what you think, good luck in your narrow minded views. ps, thanks for watching as you have now been informed.
