Someone told me this once, when you're in a relationship with an ugly person after a while they start acting like you’re the ugly one. While she admits he makes her feel unattractive, I think she’s someone who has only been praised for her appearance her whole life. You start to feel shallow and like you have nothing else to offer, so the first person that makes it seem like they value you as a person, especially when they’re far from good looking, you tend to fall hard. Then when that person betrays you, makes you feel like the rest, you just feel worthless.

Someone told me this once, when you're in a relationship with an ugly person after a while they start acting like you’re the ugly one. While she admits he makes her feel unattractive, I think she’s someone who has only been praised for her appearance her whole life. You start to feel shallow and like you have nothing else to offer, so the first person that makes it seem like they value you as a person, especially when they’re far from good looking, you tend to fall hard. Then when that person betrays you, makes you feel like the rest, you just feel worthless.
