A salute to Central Scotland RAF from a USAF veteran and bagpiper. I began piping 50 years ago last Thursday.Fantastic footage! Kudos for being able to stay in front of the band through the parade!
Hello, this grouping does not have any imtagra
When I hear the pipes and drums I get goosebumps all over my body. Heartily greetings from Germany
Paule it's good to see you here too .your friend Scott
A great piping and well drilled marching. Superb tartan too. Doing the RAF and Scotland proud.
Not only can these guys play well they kept perfect marching cadence, weel done lads
Finally a band where I can hear the bass drum.
Hello hello from Wichita Falls, Texas.. my husband and I love the sound of bagpipes..
Hello Hello from Glasgow Scotland! Are you a Rangers Fan too then?
This may be the best sounding pipe bands I've ever heard. If not then definitely top 3
Yeah I like them!
red clark i,m scottish and every time i hear the pipes my throat grows a lump !!!! proud to be a jock and not a sassanach
🎶 💖Pipes & Drums 🎶💖👍👍
Thank you from 😎California 🇺🇸
( plus their in my FAVORITE color 😊 )
The red faced chubby dude is the champ in this video. At first I was afraid he was gonna collapse but he actually seemed to get less tired over time. I'm 29 and I am solidly convinced he could kick my ass in his sleep and can probably run for longer than me.
These guys are a little older than usual, but they play the pipes like masters. Listen to the melodic nature and harmony. I'm being hypnotized by it. It is so fluid and smooth. Best version of the Atholl Highlanders I have heard, bar none.
Thanks, for posting.
LOL _ nice one! I do like them, I was at a Concert of Remembrance last November in George Street and they played the "93rds Farewell to Gilbralter" along with RRSBM and it was superb!
I'm from the Congo and I thought it was crazy for men to wear skirts. Then I learned about the British/Scottish culture, the kilt. Also learned about that competition about being the strongest man.
Greetings from New Zealand. Aye its a poor man who canny hear the sound of the pipes. SCOTLAND FOREVER !!!!! 💜🙌
Terrific. The Sgt. Maj. is a legend already. The RAF - standouts. Top notch shooting, Jim.
I think my cat has some Celtic Blood, Every time I play the pipes and drums, she comes up and sits and stares at the speakers until they stop playing, myself, I love them as well 😎😎 😎
Cats are good people. 👍😊
I love Scotland !
I love the way of Scottish life. I hope in my next life I‘ll be Scottish. Greetings from Germany.
The tartan is beautiful
Greetings from Spain. Nice pipe's Band.
Big salute to the RAF from IRAQ IAF officer on their day.
God Bless Scotland.
This March shows how powerful the pipes were over all music of War that's why it was so intimidating
The Central Scotland RAF Senior Pipe Band
SENIOR as in over the hill .. LOL
Nice blues.
In the heart of Chile is also Scotland.
Just one word brilliant
Very nice! If you call it a skirt you will get Kilt!
I also like the the way pipe master (sergeant) salutes the major and the commanding officer, and they salute him back.
That's correct Protocol . :-)
He's known as the drum sargeant...
Paul Hanna he is the Drum Major. The Drum Sargent is at the back, acting as leading drummer.
There's something inexorable about Scotsmen marching with bagpipes.
I'd hate to have been on the opposite team when facing Scotland back in the day imagine a whole army following these piper's was very intimidating for sure
Wish I was there but kinda don't.. just watched this year's Scarborough armed forces day
Excelent air force
Nice Video Jim, can you tell me please what is the name of first tune the pipe band played ? Thanks
The Atholl Highlanders
Thanks Jim
❤❤❤❤
me gusto mucho los desfiles con gaita y me gustaria aprender a tocar
Wauw 😉💪
Go for wee lads. Australia
Whats the name of the song???
Am I the ONLY person who also notices the Stores / Business's and BUILDINGS along the bands route ?🤔 I'd very much like to go shopping there 🤑🤑🤑🤑 .... 😁
Lots of people comment on the shops, especially The Royal Mile in Edinburgh!
Woman says she'd like to go shopping......no surprises there then!!😂
@@MrBagpipes WoW 😳

Aulah ammpun kan Dosa Dosa ku
William Wallace scotische highlander never forget him William Wallace the old scotische bulldogs highlanders
Badly filmed. Only possible to see lead pipers. What about the rest of the band????
I'm sorry to see that the drummers have those stupid looking shoulder harnesses. They don't look as good as the straps over the shoulder. They are supposed to be side drums, not belly drums.
Sorry but give me the black watch
was ist eine black watsch Steve Cobham ??
@@ulrichherbst5954 THE Black Watch regiment
But the RAF pipers are far superior
@@marchmaster you have to be a brylcream boy to say that
Close, but as Steve says .. Black Watch any day of the week!
Lazy Drum Major.
How comes?
@@JimRamsayJWR There are three or four different ways to march with a mace instead of just holding on to it like a dummy. Most competent drum majors use them all in sequence.
@Big Bluto You never know. We used to conceal half jacks of alcohol in the wire cages of those great big feather bonnets.
