87 FXR Lowrider, first time replacing a starter clutch ⚙️

87 fxr lowrider starter clutch replacement. remember I don't know what I'm doing so take this as a 'I can do but I can't promise it's done the right way'. this is an All Balls starter clutch gear

Stayed to the end because I have similar problems on my old FXR for years , never really solved…….😅

Anyone attempting this, leave the top center bolt for last so you don't need to hold it and it won't fall. I use a screw gun to take them out once cracked, always back in by hand.

You made it look so simple ….I have a Titan Sidewinder (soft tail ) and have to remove the battery oil tank just to get to the starter ….like your video though .!

What did it sound like before you started taking it apart????????????????????????????????????

It was the starter clutch and the starter would just veeeeeeing..and free spin or it would just click, click
