What brakes are you running at the track? What brake fluid? What tires?

I just joined your channel and been checking it out. Not many fellow African Americans who have Camaros and are influencers. And practically no one does road course like me, so I’m happy to see it. And I’m from Michigan lol
If you are going to road course more in AZ, switch your brake fluid to Endless or SRF, swap your breaks to something DTC-70s (that’s what I run but there are several options), and the stock Supercar3s are awesome track tires. But focusing on the brakes for a moment, upgrade your brakes and you brake later than the 500 marker like you did in the video. Massive improvement over the stock brakes. Keep the content coming man!
Thanks bro i appreciate you for staying tuned in! It’s funny you mentioned that about influencers because i was searching a long time ago and couldn’t find no one. I keep hearing so much about Endless I’m going to try them out, right now the tracks are semi closed because a it so hot, but during the winter months of the east coast the tracks start opening up here in Az and it’s a lot cooler and easier for the cars to perform. Are you running Girodisc Rotors as well or you just upgraded your pads only?
I have not personally used the Girodisc rotors, only OEM and DBA. I believe there is a slight weight reduction in the giro (saving rotational weight is always good and far superior to changing body weight), but at the cost of a thinner pad and reduction in longevity. I’m sure they are good, but not a must have for track use. I currently have DBA rotors and titanium shims for heat transfer reduction from the pads to the caliber, which then heats the fluid as well. That’s where endless comes in. Higher boiling point, better feeling fluid too.
You have more HP than a regular SS 1LE like me, so you need more stopping power because you are approaching (if not at) ZL1 ponies. I should say, more consistent stopping power.
Alot of data I’m throwing out here, but it’s all for track use. Normal daily driving, stock everything is more than sufficient.
