I agree, when you are travelling over 100mph you can hardly see the road, never mind the speedo / taco, that might explain the ironic clutch slip, the gauges can't keep up with wheels spinning in fresh air.

I'm still skeptical it's from the same clip. I've done 200+ kph and the wind noise even when under hard acceleration was very noticeable ( and you can hear it clearly on a video too ). So 300kph would be so much easier to hear.
That's with any car. Think of this, when you have a fan that's on low do you hear it? Maybe just a bit aka Car being idle (low speed). But the faster it gets the louder it is (picking up speed). The same concept is with an engine. The faster the motor rotates the louder it gets.

it's because they aren't getting traction and the wheels are spinning. If you shift as soon as you hit redline when getting wheels spin you will most likely not be at an ideal speed for the next gear. The morons above me talking about building boost have no clue what they are talking about.
