Making Hand Built Leaf Pattern Espresso Cups

Supplies for this project are:
-Clay
-Canvas, newspaper or another thin cloth or paper
-Rolling pin or wine bottle
-two even width sticks (1/4” dowels or something close)
-Paper and scissors to cut out a 6”x2.5” rectangle template
-Xacto knife or sharp paring knife
-Needle tool or something similar
-Wire tool or string (dental floss works!)
-Rib or old gift card
-Leaves, flowers, or herbs for texture
-Sponge
-Water
-Small paint brush
-Clay slip (to make just add water to small clay bits to make a ‘mud’)
