Question of the Video:
Would you become a "Duelist" if Yu-Gi-Oh was real? (As in like the anime) Or would you stick to your normal life?

I'm so excited! I knew as soon as I saw the classes for MS2 that I wanna start with berserker. Part of it is that I just love tiny cute characters with giant swords :D but the other part of it is -- I'm admittedly pretty green when it comes to games, I don't have much experience even with MMOs or other games that require strategy. It feels like a pretty good way to start and get my bearings :D
then find your self a cleric to party with be set :)

I remember starting KMS2. I started with Berserker, but decided to stop, as the class didn’t feel too fun, but then I played Thief for a year. Till Restart, I was still playing Thief, but decided to try Berserker again, and it was more fun than its pre-restart self, having a new passive and function. I enjoy the new darkness animations, and the hack n slash style Berserker offers. (If only Meso Guard for Thief was like Shield of Archon, because it’s so useless)

I don't think nexon will release the special classes on release. Just throwing that out there so don't get your hopes up, but then again who knows.
AdvancedSoda there might be a good chance rune blader is coming out on release ;)

they responded in the Q&A on the forums that special classes are not on release, at least on Closed Beta.
I doubt too, they might be a class/selection of classes where you have to spend money to unlock it.

Beginner classes id recommend wizard, assasin and archer. All these classes are the easiest to play imo(range and good dodges). As for most needed classes for raids; knight will be number one and is probably the hardest to lvl, then range dps(specifically sin). Priest is most desired for 4 man dugeons but when raids hit they'll be the least desired since their the most popular class but raids only need one. Priest and melee are probably the hardest classes to play efficiently. With priests you need to keep dps uptime as much as possible since you are expectated to do at least 20% of the bosses hp in four man dugeons and most your damage is deciding when to drop down aoe puddles. Not to mention your dodge is really bad and will kill you sometimes, it's best to priotize running out of the way and only press the dodge button when your teammates are long gone or you can aim the dodge away from them.

I may not know much about ms2 but from my experience with classes from other mmorpgs, priests will most often have the hardest time compared to all other classes early game but is often a necessity to parties especially end game so its an investment with a rewarding pay off. range dps like mages and archers will have the easiest time early game since they can kill mostly everything from far away before getting to them without expending as much hp potions compared to melee classes and has easier access to elements with arrows and magic to give them more of an advantage. melee tanks and dps on the other hand in my experience have it okay~hard early game, they'll rely on equipment more than range dps and will often need more potions as well. they'll mostly shine during mid game when they have better stats and gear.

Could i clarify something, you mention at around 3:45 that you should group up to level up as it is more beneficial. This is not what I found during the gms closed beta? I found that partying whether grinding or dungeoning was much slower for levelling than following the main line of solo quests, which me and my friends were a little bit disappointed by. Are we missing something?
Follow tutorial until level 70 (in CBT its level 50) then afterwards you wanna do raids for exp (prestige) because it does a lot more than regular grinding
Opinion on the Knight class? That's what I picked and I started just the other day. I feel like the debuff from shield toss can be super valuable.
Hey I saw the reset skills and presets and was wondering if it's free to reset skills or do you have to buy potions again for $ or mesos?
I play knight, and it's a sort of balanced class. You're kind of like a priest who can't heal or provide SP. Your objective is to defeat what you can whilst protecting your teammates. I'd say because of the defensive skills, it's like a balanced tank.
what do you think about the rune blader
i wanna play rune blader because the class looks cool but my friend said the class sucks. i plan on playing the class any way regardless but what's your opinion on it.
Dungeon limit is character bound or account bound ? If its character bound then itll be normal for players to make alts to run extra dungeons a day right ?
What if you dont have friends who wanna play with you; -; i wish i could be 2 characters at the same time
Hope they will add a Mechanic or Engineer again, Heavy Gunner is not close enough.

While Berserker looks nice. And I think that perhaps it could be an amazing class to play, and let's be fair spinning to win early game is fun as hell. I think I'll be sticking with my Knight. I haven't played MS2 at all, so, Knight is my first choice for the survivability and support in tanking and upping other's defense. My girlfriend (if she's accepted into the beta) will play Priest however. So, I buff her defenses, while she heals me.

Cool that you actually responded. Didn't really see that coming, to be absolutely honest. Still, we'll probably join a guild together and go on many romantic raids to kill stuff. Looking forward to seeing you play some more Maplestory 2 as well on Stream.

i did play ch version, till level 33 and didnt see wind cutter and ground crash, do you know if they removed some skills from the game? becouse, this ayumilove.net's video is 2 years old :/
They did remove some skills. im not sure about the skills your talking about but i do know that the some of the priest skills in the video got removed.
heavy gunner is in no way a beginner class, its a really hard class to play because most of its attacks don't even do that much damage, and you have to rely on special gadgets to in order to deal a minor amount of damage. this does not make it a bad class though, if you know how to play heavy gunner right its the best class in the game.
Is it just me, or is MS2 berserker extremely similar to B&S berserker? The jump attack animation is near identical, and its impossible to ignore that spin-to-win!

Endgame zerkers heal way, way more than damage they take. Korean min/maxers consider zerkers the best pve class, but the skill transitions seem less smooth than other classes, which is really noticeable when you play with a controller.
Yeah it's pretty clunky, but I like assassins cuz they very movey :3

Of course I would be a duelist if it was a thing, I loved to be kiba' s bodyguard who stands in the background and does nothing.
This video is so out-dated. For example heavy gunner doesn't even have flamethrower anymore and the SP recovery skill can be used as a single target focus ability or spread fire. All classes were revamped so using stuff like ayumi's skill previews just gives you the wrong impression of the classes.

Everyone who didn't shell out $25-$50 to play Head Start or who didn't get into closed beta (probably just me because Nexon website issues) is a beginner, aren't they?
I really want to play soul binder, but it'll probably be a while before it's available even after the official release.
In the meantime, I try Thief. Thief gets movement speed from despicable state and haste, but I don't know if stack in an additive or multiplicative manner.
Haste has a high EP cost, too. I'd like to spam it but idk if there's a way to increase EP recovery rate or max EP. I don't know if there are ways to
increase base movement speed without buffs either. ヾ(*ΦoΦ)ﾉ

@@VarsVerum I'd agree but some classes changed pretty heavily. Same goes for what they brought to the table compared to now. Skill tree was overhauled
