A situation like this has happened to all of us when we trusted what someone else said .... in our line of work its so important to verify before working on someones boat! What good lessons have you learned the hard way?
Awesome! Thank you! We TRY! I’ll let Matt know …. He’ll be blushing! Just make sure you get a survey so you know all that is wrong with the boat! Don’t buy someone else’s headache 👍 can’t wait to help!
I would often tell my employees that reputation is everything. Your customer service is obviously spot on and people/customers have taken notice. We'll done sir.

Matt, nice to know that didn't get hurt & all went well. Guess most people put trust before procedure at some point and time. Great channel... enjoy watching.
Thanks for watching Stephen… in our line of work we can never trust w/o verifying! It could have ended terribly! We preach to our guys always double check!

Funny a salesman at our boatshow said a mechanic would love outboards but it doesn't look any easier to me. At least I can service everything from my bilge.
Air conditioners are expensive. I am replacing a 23 year old unit on my Sea Ray and it costs $3.660.00 plus the labor to take the old unit out and install the new. Money well spent when I need a little heat or lots of air conditioning.

Oh boy matt you got lucky but it's also a moment that you think to yourself why did I do that lol and the worst mistake I made was when I worked on trash trucks I just got done rebuilding a valve body and was testing the functions to check for leaks and I was too impatient to have someone give me a hand and I had my head in the compactor checking line and the wall wasn't moving as soon as I pulled my head out the wall shot forward because it was stuck in the track and the pressure was building in the cylinders because the valve was stuck on extend so I was extremely fortunate that i moved because if I didn't that wall would have killed me

The people with the new boat need to hire a full time captain or get out of boating. Too many little things can go wrong and without basic mechanical skills it’s dangerous underway and they will pull their hair out with things that break on boats.
You are probably right …. But some owners have to learn that on their own! You can’t tell some people they just have to experience it for themselves! 😮
I would NEVER give out my personal cellphone number to a customer. This guy will call you at all hours of the day and night. Good Luck. P.S. get a new cell phone number.😅

Always relieve the pressure in a freshwater line at a sink or hose bib, before disconnecting the line at the pump! Fun times.
