Kobe demanded a trade to either Phoenix or Chicago and that was in 2007. 2008 was the year they added Pau Gasol so how the fuck would Kobe request a trade to San Antonio if they are the top seeded team that year? The only feasible trade that can be granted that time was Kobe for Dirk, Josh Howard and Jason Terry.
Hell, Pop wouldn't give up his trio for Kobe after winning the NBA championship that year.

If Bron was a 2 or 1 for his whole career he’d prob have like 15 all defensive selections. Tim Duncan being at the forward spot instead of center def got helped by that, making first team all d even while Shaq, Robinson, Dikembe, Dwight, etc played. 2- Phil Jackson himself said (in like 2010 or something btw) that Kobe was overrated on defense and was making all defense on reputation alone. people have to understand kobe had so many moves in the post alone I have yet to see a player from any position especially a guard utilize the post like that let alone make the attempt to post up, Kobe was so much more of a technical player. He relied on pure skill where as a lot of these legends were gifted with crazy athleticism. People need to give players more credibility for not chasing rings and sticking to their team.

V Shyne from 07-11 kobe was thr best player in the nba and its not close .... only reason lebron has better numbers is cause lebron was drafted and had to be the man right off the bat .
Kobes first 3 or 4 years he wasnr even a starter cause the lakers was deep ... kobe could've came in as a rookie and averaged 25 and 5 and 5 easily ... lebron is great but he cant go into godmode like a kobe or jordan

Jesse Caballero lol u good guy ??why are you being hostile guy ??why u talking about rings guy ?? we are talking about moves smh if that's the case ain't nobody got anything on Bill Russell shyttt come on man why are you being bias for I am a fan of the game I have no team and no bias sure I enjoy watching some players more than others but that's only natural because of skill gap also I play and not just watch so I can appreciate the talent each player contributes and go in depth about why I like players and why they are great/not great. melo is easily an all time great scorer one of the best to ever do it to be honest. he's a true competitor and did not want to sacrifice his competitive spirit to join his rivals on the same team for a ring cuz if he did he would have won a few easily i stated a fact that Kobe said that where is your facts bro come on man .I think it's funny that he gets criticized for doing the exact same thing that all time greats with no rings did that shyt is bogus a.f. Even MJ stated melo is one of the people that can give him a run for his money so what now you think your better than the goat at determining talent I think not and if so name 5 players who have a better offensive skill set than melo you most definitely can't and melo has on multiple occasions handed lebron an L even when he was on Miami with wade and bosh and has embarrassed the best defenders in the league give that man his respect and stop listening to the media and research yourself also don't disrespect someone you don't know it can come back to bite you in the ass just saying

The difference between Lebron and Kobe is simple... they were both some of the best offense players we've ever seen (even though Kobe has more weapons, but we'll call them equally great on offense for the sake of the argument) ... the difference is, Lebron quits on his team, and he stopped playing defense years ago. Kobe stayed with the same team through thick and thin for 20 years, won 5 rings there, was 11 time All NBA 1st Team Defense, and had the Mamba mentality. Kobe played PRESEASON games with the intensity of a game 7 Final... Just like Jordan. Lebron does not and has not showed that he has that kind of mentality. And that's why he will NEVER surpass Kobe no matter how many points he scores.

LeBron still better than Kobe. Explain why LeBron won in 2016 down 3-1 in finals he didn’t quit. What about 2012 ECF against Boston game down 3-2 in series? What about game 7 2013 finals against spurs? What about never quitting when he had to carry trash Cavs to finals in 2007 and 2018? What about when LeBron gave it his all with terrible Cavs team in game 7 of 2008 ECSF against big 3 Celtics and game 1 of 2018 nba finals against KD GSW outing up almost triple doubles and 45+ points?
LeBron never had a player like Shaq on his team. His best teammates are Kyrie and Wade and AD but neither are top 10 players like Shaq is the most dominant Center in nba history outside of wilt.
Kobe is one of the most inefficient superstars in nba history taking awful shots over multiple defenders and a ball hog most of the time while LeBron takes shots he usually makes due to good shot selection hence higher fg%. LeBron makes his team better through passing and leadership as well even role players play well.

  • @galaxybrainclips

Before I start, Imma say to y'all I'm a die hard Kobe and Laker fan.
Bill Russell played in an era that was different from MJ. There were only 8 teams during around the birth of the league. This is such a weak argument. Like comparing Derek Fisher to Iverson or Horry with 7 rings, as some Bronsexuals bring up. So by that analogy, you're saying LeBron is on D-Fish's level? Don't think so.
But with that said, and throwing the number of rings Kobe and LeBron won aside, I still think LeBron is better talent-wise. But skill-wise and mentally, Kobe is better. So for me, LeBron is better, but Kobe is greater. Kobe would win you a ring, LeBron would lead you to a ring. It's really apples and oranges.
I don't really agree with MJ with the number of rings, but I'd say Kobe is a little ahead of LBJ. When asked who'd take the last shot at a close game, I'd say Kobe. If I were to pick which playstyle I'm gonna pattern myself into, it's Kobe. But 5 Finals losses doesn't really affect LeBron unless he beats the Warriors. And I think that one chip against the Warriors wouldn't make him GOAT. I think that would put him over Kobe, but not MJ. But if the Cavs beat the Dubs twice, I think the conversation's over. MJ ain't no goat anymore. Losses don't matter as much as we think. Everybody loses at some point.
Again, a Kobe fan. (Just checked ESPN poll, 60% Kobe - 40% LeBron)

People tend to miss how clutch Kobe was. Kobe wasn't just hitting the game winning shot. He was also making shots when there's still 1-2 minutes left in the game. It's sad those get over looked. Also Kobe makes those shots when the Lakers are up 1, 2, 3 points and when it's time to put the game away, he does it.

    • @hugeackman9872
