Filling The Radiant and Heated Driveway Snowmelt Loops with Glycol - Day 3, Episode 45 [1-28-2021]

In this video I continue filling the system with Cryotek -100 Propylene Glycol by filling the second and final snow melt manifold. I'm using a Wayne PC4 1/2 HP pump available on Amazon here: amzn.to/3Laf4Gx This pump was able to push the cold glycol through all 7 loops on each manifold simultaneously, purging all of the air. It starts with how I designed the PEX and Snowmelt Loop Layout, shows the process of installing the actual heated concrete slab, demonstrates how I did the math to calculate the boiler and pump sizes, installation of all of the components, and ends with lots of time-lapse of the system melting snow. It also includes snowmelt system startup and shutdown videos, as well as walkthroughs of the mechanical room, continuous circulation design and electrical system.
