Every couple years I come back to this video, often to show it to others. I just showed it to a kindergartener for the first time and seeing him yell excitedly at almost every transition was priceless :)

Mortal Kombat was a Midway game, not a Nintendo game. So I was surprised that it was included in this acapella.

Okay...so the fact that they are still in key is AMAZING. This is EXTREMELY difficult to keep on pitch when singing those high pitches... I know because I've "attempted" singing this. x_x

Every single time when Mario enters a cave, no matter if I play, or if my kids play, or if anyone enters any cave in any kind of game or movie, the urge of saying the three magic words is unevitable. I say them in my deepest voice. "Dabba Dabba Dabba."

Kabloomi the devs of the original Tetris were russians and used a russian song for their game. Nintendo bought it off them (for much less than what it would be worth later on)

First RUclips video I ever saw! It was fascinating. We followed it up with a video titled something like "Me and my friend munching carpet to Super Mario Bros" and they were crawling on the floor chewing on the carpet. So we got to see the excellence and craziness of RUclips right away! (The carpet munching video, sadly, seems to have disappeared.)
