This looks really cool. What was the reson to animate the characters with a lower framerate then the rest of the animation?
Simplicity is the theme I assume.
It is mainly an art style. For me, it reminds me a bit on stop-motion, but it also helps to highlight the characters a bit, by separating it from the rest of the scene.

I love how it look! I watched it few times and I would like to ask you something. I can see whole world and a car have very smooth animation but characters' animation feels like some frames were skipped. Is there particular artistic reason why you animated family this way or I foresaw something?

Its an artistic choice.... Spider-man Into The Spider-verse also uses same technique
Yeah, it was an artistic choice to make it look a bit more like stop-motion, but it also helps to highlight the characters a bit more, from all the smooth moving parts in the scene.
