I actually like Givenchy gentleman society better than the extreme. My favorite 2024 release is prada ocean le parfum. I like it better than the edp and edt.
I try to speak up whenever the scent elixir is mentioned. Its mature,versatile and unique compared to most scents. Truly underrated.

Prada Ocean Le Parfum is so good, even if it is on the softer side, its probably my favorite designer release so far this year. Curious how you like it. I’m really looking forward to the new Versace.
Mediocrity is fine, It's nice to spare some money sometimes! 🤣Good enough stuff for people new to the community, that gives me the chance to catch up with good older stuff! (Edition Blanche coming home this summer 🍋).
My favorites for 2024 so far are: Le Male Lover, SWY Tobacco, Society Extreme & Ocean Le Parfum. Never thought that Lover would be one of the better releases, thus far.

I am wearing Triumph Elixir today. I really like it. My wife, sadly, is not a fan. She doesn’t hate it, but its definitely in the bottom 10 of my 50 frags for her.

These things are obviously subjective but I’d go with a solid B for a grade. Only major L imo was Y Elixir. That was such a missed opportunity. Excited for the new Eros!

Missing versace lol! I heard we are getting a new acqua di gio exlir. They just came out with the parfum last year and I think it smells a lot like profumo but I hope they do a exlir version in it
Ya I mentioned they confirmed the elixir three months ago on here and you and I spoke about it 3 times now. And I’m not missing the versace it’s not out yet

Let's hope Versace Eros Energy turn things around! 2024 so far has been kinda meh. A big part of it has been these ridiculous prices for designer fragrances. Definitely getting Polo 67 when it hits discounters. I recently picked up Blue Parfum and Deep Blue Parfum for about 50 bucks.
Eros energy will be good but I don’t think it will be one to turn things around I think Spicebomb dark leather will be that one

I also think Paradise Garden by JPG is over hyped, the performance is average, but for summer is ok.
Polo 67 is a swiss knife, perfect for the days when you need a easy to wear, pleasing perfume.
I prefere SWY Tobacco instead of SWY Oud, the tobacco edition is SWY dna for powerful men with style and strong character. It will be a big hit for autumn & winter.
What is a Niche fregrance and a designer fragrance? What's the difference between the two?
Two schools of thought 1st is the most used and that’s designer is by any brand that sells fragrances but also is known for other things (clothes, jewelry, and so forth) while niche are brands that are known primarily for fragrances (this also includes private lines for designers like Tom ford private blends). The second school of thought is basically what I said above but people just see designers as the known brands and niche as the higher end less popular ones. But the first school of thought is the real definition of it with indie being defined as starter brands usually personally owned and perfumed by the same person/people in a small scale. Indie can become niche when they grow large enough
Y Elixir is the best y for me. Smells less synthetic, cleaner, higher end. Still a designer generic, but big like.

I tested it in store but they didn’t have bottles to buy and so i decided to just pass it up as it’s nice but not $150 nice it’s a very bitter herbaceous green fragrance with ginger mixed in. It’s nice but not necessarily a compliment magnet three women were with me all 3 disliked it. If it pops on discounters I’ll review

2024 is very meh to me so far , ive only picked up paradise garden and gentleman society extreme( which is my release of the year so far)
Those two are really the better ones. Ocean Le Parfum isn't too shabby. I actually like Le Male Lover the most (No Diddy)!

Really? Usualy when I get asked they at least are frags for the same seasons. These are frags for different seasons, situations, and opposite in every way so hard to pick one from the other. But for me personally le male elxir is a FragComm hypebeast but in the real world I haven’t found many people like it so I’d go with lemon mint

This year is so disappointing. The scent elixir is really the only must buy I have tried. Society ext is close…I want more coffee and iris….le beau garden was pretty good too. Would buy at a good deal

See it smells like 95% similar to Profondo. I’m worn out on ADG I mentioned that when I mentioned the new ADG in this video. I’m def looking forward to the ADG elixir coming soon but Profondo parfum was just a rebottle with a slight twist nothing special

I mentioned it and I said top 5 I also put others front and center that weren’t in my top 5 I just took 15 of the new releases and put them in the thumbnail. If you came to the video for ocean le parfum im sorry but this video wasn’t about that. I’m not gonna put the top 5 front and center and give it away I just put random bottles in random positions and not all the top 5 are even in the thumbnail

@@FragranceDOUD Why when I spray 10 times from testers i the store. And wear them side by side and then again day afrer. And again. I spray those testers a lot. Its what they are for and they have a stock of testers. Paradise garden is my fav one. Le parfum lasts too long and becomes sweet and sticky. Le beau is okay, short longevity which is okay bit its only coconut. Paradise garden has that green fresh twist. But still... I dunno if I will get either one.
Diesel D Red is very mediocre, it smells like fruity bubble gum. I did get it for 50 euro, for that price it's fine.

SWY tobacco is so much better than SWY Absolutely. It is not just sweet. It has nuance.
I like SWY absolutely more. It’s subjective of course but if you factor in wearability tobacco isn’t something u can wear every day or even every week. It’s a super situational fragrance and SWY absolutely is a lot more easy wear.

I’ve stopped buying SWY’s. I own 4 now and I just don’t see enough variance. It will take me a decade just to go through these lol

Tbh Le Beau Paradise Garden didn't wow me at first, but wear after wear, this thing is growing on me so much I can't get enough of it .
For the scent elixir, let's not forget how Boss went crazy with their pricing 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

@@FragranceDOUD yes it retails around $30-$35 more than bottled elixir. Not much on paper, but too much for a boss.
Saw a couple of people on Fragrantica say the same, guess they increased in the UK and other regions as well
